Arrived onsite for refrigerator making loud grinding noise. Upon arrival I confirmed the damper motor was the cause of the noise and it sounds consistent with a failure. As I was accessing the damper I found the tower frozen to the back wall. I separated the tower and replaced the damper. I tested operation and it now sounds normal with no more grinding. The unit is working as designed at this time and no leaks were detected during time of service. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not draining. Upon inspection of the error code section I found F9E1 F10E2 stored. I ran the drain pump and found the water barely trickling it of the drain hose in the disposal. I used my vacuum and tried to suck out any obstruction. I un installed the unit and found the back left outlet for the drain line was kinked and food was stuck causing the failure. I straightened out the line and zip tied it to the frame so it does not link when pushing it back. I replaced the drain pump due to the likely hood of it having to work harder with the kinked line. I reassembled and re installed the unit. I tested through diagnostics and it is now working as designed with no leaks detected time of service. Job complete.

The ice maker began to harvest and would stop. It would start again and stop. The last test, it began to harvest and stopped midway though harvest. I cycled power to the unit and retested and the ice maker would not operate. I removed and replaced the ice maker and cycled power to the unit and the ice maker began to operate on its own. I advised the customer of my findings and requested they monitor operations and contact the office if there are further issues."

I disassembled the unit and found the element was burnt and the metal plate in the middle of the element was burnt and badly warped. Also found lint inside the unit. I removed and replaced the element and cleaned the lint from the unit and retested the unit. Tested the airflow with my vent test kit and found the unit not getting good airflow. I recommended that the customer have the vents checked professionally. Unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps and found the upper oven at 358 degrees. I turned the lower oven back on at 350 degrees and the display was showing 335 degrees. I tested the lower the same as the upper oven and found my multimeter reading 336 degrees and temps were beginning to fluctuate as designed. I advised the customer of my findings and recommended that they continue to use the unit. I made recommendations for use and care and tools to use to test temps.

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven/microwave combo not heating properly. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit doesnt heat properly on Convection Bake mode. I tested the unit and found that the convection fan doesnt come on during convection bake mode. Upon further inspection, I found the fan shaft appears to be bent. I removed the unit from the cabinets and found the back panel to be badly damaged at the bottom (photo). I removed the panel and found the convection fan motor pushed into the back of the unit and the left and right mounts were broken. I found the left connector on the bake element was badly bent over. I tested the element and it showed 19ohms. I tested the convection fan again and could hear the motor humming, but due to the motor being pushed into the back of the unit and it setting at an angle, the shaft is pushed against the cavity and cant turn. I inspected the cavity at the convection fan area and found the cavity bent outward.

I then tested both evap fans, condenser fan and ice box fan found no abnormal noises. Tested compressor by running it though compressor speed change with ramp test 39. Compressor sounded normal.
