"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator leaking water and the bottom of the freezer is frozen. Upon further inspection, I found a slab of ice on the bottom of the FC section and water leaking from the bottom left side of the FC door. I disassembled the FC section and removed the slab of ice then pulled the unit out and inspected the drain tube at the back of the unit. I found the tube clogged and leaking water at the top of the tube. Removed the tube and cleaned it out and re-installed and sealed the gap at the top of the tube with silicone. Using my steamer, I removed the ice from the FC evaporator drip pan.

I contacted techline and spoke to Kurt and advised of the complaint, history and my findings. I found the ice bucket completely full of mostly old bridged together ice that was binding the auger along with some new cubes in the top of the ice bucket. I found the temp in the FC and icebox good. All thermistors tested good and there is good air flow from the fan. I removed the old ice from the bucket and tested the icemaker in a harvest and a fill cycle. Both test worked as designed. The customer stated her husband had filled the ice bin up with ice from another refrigerator and wanted the icemaker replaced.

The gasket could not seal and after correcting refrigerator cabinet alignment, the gasket could then seal with the cabinet. I applied MFG approved/supplied sealant to the FC and RC door openings to facilitate sealing. The defrost system had engaged during service and I verified the evaporator was not encased in frost. "On site for a dryer that has a blown terminal block. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the power cord was also damage. Found the installation on this unit had been completely wrong, and that the power cords connectors were not attached to the nuts on the terminal block that theyre supposed to. They were screwed into where the foldable tabs that are supposed to set the terminal block in place or capped. It appeared that the Installers also did not add the wire clamp on the unit which intern caused the power cord to pull out of the terminal block and ground as soon as the dryer was pulled out. Replaced the terminal block and the customer advised they would like the power cord. Replaced the power cord and tested the unit. The unit big and he and operate as designed.

Arrived onsite for a washer that leaks water in the basket when its off. On arrival I found the basket dry and that valve completely closing. I tested the valve multiple times and found it closing properly. I showed the customer how the water enters the machine and explained if you put your hand on the faucet and press up water will run out for a little bit and stop. I explained that when the valves leak they would find water in the basket when loading clothes or if if it filled up high enough the drain pump would turn on when the machine is off. I went over detergent use and loading with the customer. The machine is working as designed. Call complete.

I checked the valves and found no abnormal tension or resistance. Valves were moving as they should. I checked the knobs and found cracks in both new knobs down the shaft. Advised customer to replace knobs and reinforce the shaft with a zip tie to keep it from splitting, since the valves feel fine. Went over use and care. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is leaking during the final spin. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through diagnostics and could not get the unit to leak. I did hear a clown whistle type sound coming from the drain pipe. Filled the basket up, halfway full of water and detected. No leaks during agitation or the filling portion of the cycle. When I ran the unit through a drain, found the standpipe, overflowing and licking behind the wall and underneath the baseboard. Did advise the customer that the issue is with a clogged drain and they would need to resolve the issue. Call complete."

"KRMF706ESS01 Arrived to inspect ice issue. I found the actual issue was with cooling. The FC was 37 and the RC 46. The compressor was running, but there was negligible heat in the condenser. The high side discharge was warm, but not hot as it should have been and within several inches from the compressor, the tubing was cooler. A prior servicer had tapped the low side return and had apparently attempted a charge at some point. The unit will require the compressor, dye drier, service port and both evaporators. I found the deli door UI damaged by water and the harness had corroded away as well, requiring the UI and left crisper door. Per service notes, I contacted the MFG and advised of my findings. File #7736751674. No leaks observed during service. The customer will discuss findings with their extended warranty and we will be contact if further repairs are required."

"Arrived onsite for unit tripping breaker. Upon arrival inspected unit. Customer stated happens a few times a day and just flipped it back this morning. Ran diagnostics and when I test 6- forced defrost, the unit tripped. Reset and continued diagnostics. The only time unit tripped was when initially put into defrost. Tried again and unit did not trip. Notified customer to let unit run for several hrs then force defrost again to see if unit trips again. Called customer back at 5pm and customer stated between 9am-5pm breaker tripped 3-4 times. A second time in diagnostics in force defrost the unit did trip the breaker. Could not duplicate back to back but did on two separate occasions. May be heater. Discussing with service team for plan of action. Will reach back out to customer.

"WEG745H0LZ1 Arrived to inspect gas odor. I found the issue was with the oven and not the cooktop. The oven would not ignite and the residual gas from the failed ignition could be detected. I found the igniter was not correctly mounted and both screws were very loose, allowing the igniter to droop, out of the path of the incoming gas. I corrected the issue and tested. The unit operated as designed and ignited at every attempt, immediately. No gas leaks detected during service. I attempted to contact the MFG safety team and report my findings, but the system responded that they were not taking calls at that time. Office to report findings to safety team at later date."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the unit on and all fans operating. I pulled the unit out and tested amp draw to the compressor and found when it was on, the amp draw was over 10 amps. I removed and replaced the compressor, access valve, and drier and vacuumed the system. Pressures held good and I then installed 5.25oz of R134a refrigerant and monitored pressures. Pressures held good and the unit is beginning to cool properly. I recommended the customer allow the unit to cool for at least 24 hours before placing food items inside. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
