"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop knobs difficult to turn and a gap on the countertop. Upon further inspection, I found a gap in the countertop on the left upper corner area. When I went to test the cooktop burners, I found the left three knobs difficult to turn. I removed the cooktop to gain access to the valve manifold and found it pushed downward. I adjusted the manifold and reassembled the unit and tested. Unit is operating as designed. I adjusted the installation as well and advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"RC 6.19 K, FC 21.86 K, IB 14.58 K. I then tested the RC thermistor with a thermocouple placed within the vents at the thermistor mounting point and it registered 41?F and after several minutes climbed to 44, which was within a degree of the prior replaced thermistor. Using thermography and two other meters, I verified accuracy of the thermal test and readings. The only solution to the issue is to move the thermistor out of the housing and more into the actual chambers moving air. I will be contacting the customer later in the day to check progress. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I found the heating element and thermistor could both be read and shown in circuit. During inspection I found the control had a burnt odor and removed and replaced it. I tested within service mode and all functions were present, including line VAC to the element. The thermistor also read within specifications for the internal temperature of the unit. I removed residual ice from within the evaporator and advised the customer on the importance of ensuring the doors are fully closed to prevent air leaks into the chassis. No leaks observed during service."

Opened up the refrigerator door and found a massive gap in the liner and cabinet at the bottom right hand corner causing the issue. The gap seemed too large to fill with silicone so I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Austin SR# 7735317552. He had me send him a couple photos of the gap in question. He advised that based on the photos, the guy was too wide to silicone and would be sent to review for replacement. I advise the customer of Techlines findings and told the, that Whirlpool would be in contact with myself or he customer depending on the next steps. Call complete."

Removed front panel to inspect flame and flame has a lot of yellow.after observing the surroundings found customer is having remodeling done on 1st floor and in garage. As well as customer operates dehumidifier. Called techline for assistance. I let tech know I replaced burner assembly and have same result. Tech determined that smell is coming from outside of unit from remodel work such as drywall and paint, etc. tech mentioned that air circulates in HVAC system and spreads throughout home causing inconsistencies with flame causing a fuel type smell. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that everything in the fresh foods section is freezing. I tested temps in the RC section in the middle and temps were 29 degrees. I tested on the top shelf and got 25 degrees. I tested the RC thermistor and it showed 14.58 kohms which is in range. I found the damper wide open and tested it,and found the motor was bad. Removed and replaced the damper and tested and unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with loud fan and ice build up. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=-9 degrees and RC=42 degrees. I disassembled the RC section and found ice built up on the evap cover on the left side and the evap fan not operating. I removed the back tower to gain access to the fan and found it plugged in but not operating. I was able to get it to jump start and advised the customer that due to the ice accumulation, I would have to have them unplug the unit and allow it to defrost before I could go any further to prevent further damages. I reassembled the unit and no water leaks observed during service. Job completed."

"Arrived to inspect unit not starting tub clean cycle. After discussing the issue with the customer, I found there were several occasions where the unit would advised them to perform the tub clean cycle. Further inspection revealed a slight blockage in the strainer, but the front bellow drain was completely plugged and there were signs of excessive detergent use and heavy sudsing during testing, denoting detergent buildup within the unit. I cleared the bellow drain and then removed a small amount of debris fro the drain pump strainer and tested. All functions were present in customer mode and the unit operated as designed. I discussed detergent type and amounts for their usage and softened/treated water. No leaks observed during service.

"KRFC300ESS01 Arrived to inspect no cool. The customer experienced a general decline in cooling over the preceding month and there were noises heard that may have been frost building in the evaporator and into the fan. The unit has been unplugged for at least a day upon arrival and there were no signs of excessive moisture within the condensate pan. The compressor drew .65 amps after five minutes and I tapped the system for pressure inspection. Upon tapping the system, I found it in 17 of vacuum, denoting a high side leak. I pressurized to 140psi and found an approximate 1 psi, per 10 minute drop. During the pressurized phase of testing, I leak tested every accessible connection within the chassis with leak testing solution and found no visible signs of leakage. I advised the customer that the unit has an internal high side, cabinet leak that is not repairable and they elected to go no further with any attempted repairs. No leaks observed during service. Service call only."
