Arrived onsite for refrigerator producing odd shaped cubes or not dispensing correctly. Upon inspection I found the ice bin full of normal shaped cubes and none sticking together. The customer had concerns of crushed ice coming out when cubed is selected. I tested and confirmed the ice bin is working as designed. I explained that the ice has to pass by the teeth that crush it and sometimes ice crumbles can get caught and release when the pad is depressed but is fairly normal for this unit. No repairs needed at this time and no leaks were detected during time of service. Job complete.

Checked the unit with a vent test kit and the unit showed good venting. I ran the unit for 20 minutes without causing an error. The customer advised it will work for two weeks at a time and has twice shown this in the last month. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Leon SR# 7730910924. He had me check cycling temperatures with the vent hose off and on and found the unit cycling properly. He advised at that point, the only reason this could happen is if the vent leading out of the home is not ventilating properly. .; ordrng 1 W11526004 (CONTROL)"

Found service pointer W11316865A, which references sweating mullion. I found the energy saver was turned on, which disables the mullion heater. I turned energy saver off, and verified that UI and control software were at the correct versions, 7.0 and 10.0. I turned on the mullion heater in test 85,but the heater never came on. Ordering new mullion to resolve. Verified 12.5 DC volts at the plug.; ordrng 1 W11084813 (Mullion)"

Customer said a large flame came out at the opening of the burner at the orifice which is where I found the orifice not tightened. I corrected the orifice and burner and retested and unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

If you keep the knob at 10oclock until it ignites in the flame looks normal. Also found cooktop has been siliconed to counter, there is no drawer/door panel or any way to inspect the bottom of the cooktop. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s developing condensation in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found ice buildup and water buildup near the air baffle. Checked the air baffle for operation and found the baffle working properly. Checked the refrigerator gasket and found the left side of the refrigerator gasket not sealing properly potentially causing this issue. I pushed the door in and attempted to seal the gasket properly. The gasket started to hold properly. I checked with the office about the gasket and was advised this is a PSP item . The unit may have corrected itself with the gasket now sealing.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator lights working intermittently. Upon further inspection, I found the right RC door switch open. I removed and replaced the door switch and tested and found the left door switch not making good contact with the door. I removed and replaced the switch and retested and switches are operating as designed. I found the ice maker vent gaskets are leaking air into the RC section and causing condensation build up. I placed some manufacturers approved grease on the gaskets and inspected and found they are sealing properly. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator leaking. On arrival customer showed me that the freezer door / gasket has constant condensation on it, above normal. I unplugged the condenser fan to allow the mullion to heat and did not find any water leaks or failed parts. All door gaskets are sealed and no gaps or air leaks were found. Found the mullion isnt getting very warm at all. Called tech line and spoke with Ed, SR7730909458. Tech line advises we replace the door, seal the liner with silicon, and raise the door if necessary to create more contact with the mullion. Ordering new door and silicon. "Arrived onsite for refrigerator not making ice. Upon inspection I found the ice bin full. I tested temps and found the RC=40 set to 40 & FC=5 set to 0. I set the unit to the recommended 38 degrees. I found the ice chute gasket crooked so I corrected. I tested the ice maker, it cycled and filled as designed. I found the ice box vent on the RC had been blocked at one point. I advised the customer on proper loading. I can not recreate any failures at this time. The unit is working as designed and no leaks detected during time of service job complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect the adjustments made on the cabinets that are supporting the unit. I found that a support was placed at the front of the unit of the unit under the console. When I went to adjust the gaps in the trims, I found that there was only 1 screw holding the console in place. I adjusted the trim pieces and the console and installed 3 screws to the console. Placed the unit back in its place in the countertop and tested the unit. All gaps were approved by the customer and all burners are operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."
