"Arrived to inspect draining issue. I found the installers had just dropped the unit and refused installation, forcing the CX to self instal. The drain line was routed outside the rear leg, causing intermittent pinching and resultant impeded flow. I corrected the tube routing and tested through several fill and drain cycles and the issue was resolved. The delivery crew lost the accessory packet containing the mounts and I installed to prevent a hazardous condition. No leaks observed during service. ; used 2 WP8269145 (BRKT-MTG) from stock"

Arrived onsite for a double wall oven making a loud noise when the upper oven is used. The CX described the noise to be the convection fan when it cycles on. I inspected the convection fan and found the nut loose that holds the fan blade on. I tightened the nut and made sure the blade fins were even and balanced. I tested the oven and it sounded normal until about 5 minutes after preheat then when the fan cycled on the unit was making a loud metal on metal vibration sound. I found the screws loose that hole the inner wall to the motor plate at the back of the oven. I tightened those screws. I also found the rear panel on both top and bottom oven bowed inward and I removed and reinstalled to get them to bow outward. I rerouted the seal tight to keep it from pressing against the rear of the oven. I then tested in convection bake at 400 degrees and the unit sounded normal 10 minutes after preheat was reached. Call complete.

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they were using the top oven and some butter splashed onto the broiler and started a fire and they were unable to get the broiler to work. I tested the upper oven broiler and the ignitor illuminated and within 20 seconds, the burner ignited. I could smell the butter burning off. I tested a few more times and each time the broiler came on. I tested the warmer/Bake function and it too is operating as designed.No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and found the element not getting energized. I disassembled the unit and then tested voltage at the wall and got 248V. Once disassembled, I found the bottom right element connection shorted. I tested the cutoffs, thermostats and element and found the thermostat was bad. I removed and replaced the thermostat and re-wired the element harness and reassembled the unit. Tested the airflow to the unit and both tests failed (photos). I tested the heat function in a timed dry setting and the unit is operating as designed. I recommended that the customer have their vents checked/cleaned. No lint observed during service, job completed."

The unit would not circulate and after the second test, the internal drain pump stopped operation as well. I inspected the primary AC connection from the transformer and it showed 7.2 VAC with no load and a verified line VAC OF 123.8. When the drain pump loads were switched on via manual service mode, the voltage would drop to 0VAC and there was no pump action confirmed. The unit will require a replacement transformer. The circulation pump tested correctly and I will return with it, in the unlikely event the pump is required. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling correctly after the previous repair. I tested the FC temp and found it at 10 degrees. I found the RC only at 50 degrees. Settings were at 37 & 0 degrees. I found the evaporator frosted up again. I ran multiple test and the thermistors and the fan are working as designed. The coil is getting a full frost pattern. I found both door closures sprung and not keeping the doors shut. I suspect this is most of the problem since the right door gasket had been replaced. I was able to reload the right door closure and that door is closing as designed but the left door closure is broken along with the bushing. Both will need to be replaced. I removed all the frost from the RC coil. Ordering washer, closure, and bushing. Office to RS.; ordrng 1 W11109515 (Washer) and 1 W11159608 (Hinge Bushing) and 1 W11179355 (Closure)"

I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andy SR# 7734889405. He advised me to remove the cap tubes from the 3-way valve ad low side port at the compressor to blow nitrogen through the evaporators. I did go ahead and do that but was unable to remove any excess oil. Went ahead and replace the dryer and ended up welding the top of my dryer shot. Went to replace another dryer and found that the steel line was too short for the next dryer due to having to cut off a part of the steel line that was soldered shut. I called whirlpool tech line back and spoke to Cliff (same SR#). He had me take a photo of the issue and advised that there was not enough steel line to make a proper repair. He advised that this unit would be sent to review and to tell the consumer that whirlpool would be in contact with them or myself within the next 3 to 5 business days. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven door not sealing. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit is not reaching temps, the oven door isnt closing all the way and the unit sits too high compared to the countertops. Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the center of the middle rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. My preheat temp was 369 degrees. My next 4 readings were 374, 323, 380, 334 for an average temp of 352 degrees. While testing, I removed the warming drawer and placed my level on the unit and it is showing to be perfectly level (photo). I tested the cooktop and all burners are functioning properly. I advised the customer of my findings and provided photos of my findings. Also checked the door and found the receivers screws were loose and I adjusted and tightened the receivers. Tested the door operation and it is operating as designed. Other than the hinge receiver adjustments, no further repairs needed at this time. Job completed."
