Arrived onsite for washer making a squealing noise. On inspection found the basket was lose. "KSGG700ESS3 Arrived to inspect error and unit not completing heating. I found F2E1 as the only stored error code and cleared for testing. The unit operated as designed and cycled the burner on and off. Further inspection revealed the ignition wire for the spark ignition system, was misrouted over the back of the left drawer slide, creating a pinch zone for the wire. I corrected the routing and watched several more heating cycles and the unit operated without fail. I advised the customer of my findings and they will contact us if issues persist. I found the 1st stage of the cold valve would not fill and made an irregular noise. I removed and replaced the valve and tested. The unit resumed normal operation. I advised the customer on detergent use, as there were laundry pods in the vicinity and recommended less detergent, due to the error codes that were found within the service mode. Arrived onsite for dishwasher with error code F8E4. On inspection found water in the overflow tray. I looked at the gasket and the gasket is flattened out in the corner letting water run down the side and into the tray. Installed new gasket on to unit and ran diagnostics cycle. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and placed my tester inside the unit while testing and found the unit not heating and making a loud humming noise. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator freezing items in the RC. Customer said that on several occasions they had several items freeze on the RC shelves. I examined the unit and found unit had a lot of items in it, and a lot of items pushed to the back liner. I advised customer on the airflow path and function of the unit and that those channels have to be kept free and open for air to properly circulate. This should resolve freezing issues. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that during one wash load, the unit seem to leak enough water to leave water on the floor about 6 feet long. They advised that they have been using it since and the unit has seemingly stopped leaking. I checked underneath the washer and did not find any signs of water residue except on the back panel. Check behind the washer and found the hot water hose leaking slightly causing a drip every minute to two minutes. I checked the control area and valve housing and found no water residue on top of the housing. Ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle. Found the unit working and operating as designed. When the unit went to drain, I found the standpipe sounding like it was slowly backing up, potentially causing an issue with an overflow on heavy loads. Checked the tub for any signs of cracks or damage. Found no damage done to the tub at all. Tested the unit several more times to try to get the unit to leak and checked underneath the washer again. Did not find any leaks present during operation besides the hot water hose. I showed the customer the leak from the hose and the customer advised that he used the old hoses off the old washer. I explained to him that it appeared that the rubber gasket inside of the hose was worn causing the leak. I also explained to him about his standpipe and showed him what it was doing. The customer is going to buy himself new hoses and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that has a broken tub. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit went off balance while washing a load and theres no leaning to the back left hand corner. Found the suspension rod had fallen due to a broken Rod support. I checked ServiceMatters for information on this washer in front of service corner regarding off-balance issues. Found that the unit basket had not had all the hole punch through as per the service pointer. Verified that the model and serial numbers matched within the range of the service pointer to replace the basket. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator making a loud noise. I found the noise coming from the RC fan hitting ice. Everything tested good and the ice build up was only on the right side of the evaporator up to the fan and in the shroud. The right side seal was not sealing correctly on the cover. I broke the old cover off and cleared all the ice. I replaced the cover and all seals are sealing properly around the cover now. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for oven bottom plate not seating correctly. On inspection the left side of the bottom plate was up about 4 inches. I pulled the plate and made sure it was not warped. I reinstalled the plate into position and showed the customer how to reinstall the plate if they pull it to clean it.

"Arrived on site or a refrigerator that has a chemical smell. Inspected unit and work area. Did smell what appeared to be a leech kind of smell inside of the freezer section. The customer advised they have not cleaned out the refrigerator since they bought it. I disassembled the freezer section and found no burnt wires or components. Found note residue or items that have burnt off the heater. Check the dispenser motor harness did not find any issues with any of those components or wiring as well. I checked the refrigerator and did not find any failed components. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Leon SR# 7737693859. I told him that the customer is also getting a smell and taste in their water and ice as well. He advised that based on all our checks, there would be nothing in the unit from the unit itself that would be causing any types of smells and advise the customer to use coffee beans or activated charcoal to remove the smell. He advised to make no repairs and that the unit is working as designed. He said if the customer is unhappy with the unit, they may contact customer service. I called whirlpool safety team and spoke to Adam SR# 7737639987. He advised that he documented the file not the issue is most likely with their water supply containing too much chlorine. He stated the ice smell may be recirculating around the refrigerator, which would also be why they can taste it in the water. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a defective compressor. Removed defective compressor,installed a new compressor and drier,vacuumed system down unit kept vacuum recharged system to manufacture spec powered unit on checked low side pressure good Arrived on site for tripping breaker. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Per previous techs diagnosis, I installed a new tub. I transferred all original parts from the old tub to the new and tested. I found the unit beginning to leak from the bottom right side of the door. I found a large amount of suds in the tub due to the tub laying on its back with the door closed and rinse aid leaked out from the dispenser. I removed the suds from the unit and Unit is operating as designed with no further leaks. I re-installed the unit and secured it to the cabinets. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use as customer has a water softener system. No leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I found the ice maker made one batch of ice since being replaced. Using my jumper, I tested the ice maker and it failed to harvest. I found no water in the tray. I tested voltage to the ice maker and its getting proper voltage. Tested the harness and it is good as well. I removed and replaced the ice maker and tested and it is operating as designed. Ice maker motor failed on recently replaced ice maker. Cycled power to,the unit to reset controls. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator freezing all items in rc. Upon arrival found unit was sent to warmest temps but rc temp was at 34 degrees and fc at 11. Tested thermistors values and found rc thermistor at 3.6k. Replaced hv control, defuser, and thermistor.informed customers to give unit 24 hrs to stabilize temps. Call complete"

"Arrived on site for unit lead not matching and starting the cycle. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found latch visibly failed. Replaced latch. Tested unit and found unit still did not want to complete a cycle. Found it wiring harness has a breakdown in the cable to drain pump. Ordering lower wire, harness assembly. "Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not making ice properly. Upon further inspection, I found the unit with ice kin the bin, but very small cubes. I found the unit in the middle of a cycle and there was a slab on the evaporator. I found the slab of ice very small and not completely full as expected. The unit went into heat mode and the slab slid off the evaporator onto the grid cutter. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and found the evaporator not frosting fast enough. I placed my gauges on the high and low sides of the sealed system and found pressures exactly where they were when I left. I bumped the system to get my pressures to 0/125psi and monitored the production. I found the slab more full than it was when I arrived. I recommended the customer monitor the production and cont@t our office if it doesnt improve at which time, the sealed system will need to be re-done. No water leaks observed during service, job completed.; O-emld tckt"

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling correctly after the sealed system was repaired. I inspected the evaporator and found only two loops frosted. I could hear the refrigerant spitting at times and not flowing good. I checked my low side pressure and found it in a 13 psi vacuum. I checked for refrigerant leaks and found none but the unit acted like it wasnt fully charged. The model/serial tag called for 43 grams but I checked the parts breakdown and it showed 56 grams. I called techline and spoke with Joe SR# 7737817711. I added 13 more grams of refrigerant and my low side was at 8 psi vacuum and my high side was at 65 psi. I had good refrigerant flow now and the evaporator completely frosted. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not draining. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does complete up each cycle, but that his clothes dont seemingly come out fully spun out all the time. Found the unit unlevel and leaning towards the front of the door. Ran it through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working an operating as designed. I did advisor customer. The issue is most likely with the leveling of the washer because the pressure hose that registers water levels on this unit is at the back of the unit. I explained with having the basket leaning forward, it may not be registering water inside of the drum thats there. Adjusted the feet on his washer and ran through some of the settings on his control panel. Found a few of the cycles not on the high speed spin, and did explain that the high speed spin will get more of the water out so he does not have to keep running a drain and spin on this unit. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Went to install the adjuster on the dishwasher and the clips that hold them on the basket broke. I rigged the rack so it is useable for the holidays. Ordering the new parts and setting the return date 12/1/23. Arrived on site to replace faulty control board. Replace board and tested. Unit powered on and compressor started to function. Frost pattern is developing. Notified customer to get 48 hours prior to loading with food product. Customer will monitor temperature. Job complete.
