Arrived on site to diagnose an ice machine that is not producing ice properly. Found cutter grid broken and replaced it. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived on site for fridge not cooling. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the rc evaporator covered in ice. I put the unit through diagnostics and a forced defrost. I found the fc heating element coming on. I gained access to the main control and tested the rc evaporator thermistor(38 Kohms below 0) and rc thermistor reading (8 Kohms 35 degrees) will incased in ice. I tested voltage to both and found the reading within range. I gained access to the pantry UI and found no corrosion. I inspected the pantry wiring harness and found it intact. I found the top lights in the rc and the freezer light out as well. "Arrived on site for The top over Broil turns it self on. Also the panel itself resets every other day. Powered on oven and placed in diagnostics and got F6E0 ten times. No other codes listed. Console screen was not recognizing my touch as I navigated through selections. Placed upper and lower ovens in bake to preheat at 350. Both ovens heating as designed. Will return with previously ordered parts and console to complete the repair. Explained to customer it is essential to download the Whirlpool app to receive updates for their appliance and in order to keep the current time and date. They plan on downloading the app and getting the oven connected to their WiFi before we return.havent received the new console yet, but it was ordered. Upon returning with new console we will need to power down the oven and replace the console first, then power on the oven for two minutes in order for the new console to integrate with current control board. Once two minutes has passed we will power down the oven again to replace the control board to ensure the SAID code marries to new console with saved codes from original control. This will ensure the WIFI can connect without issue and oven works as designed. Initially I though I would need to pull out the oven with my dolly, but testing proved it wasnt necessary. I called out to the customer when I had finished, but customers were in meetings so I left a leave behind pamphlet on the counter and killed power to the oven at the breaker. The customer advised that it?s taking him 2 to 3 cycles in order to dry clothes depending on the load. Tested the unit and found the unit heating and tumbling as designed. Place to vent tester kit on the unit and found it reading ?poor airflow for all dryers?. Looked behind the unit and found the vent hose completely crunched. Removed the dryer from the wall and corrected the vent hose. Tested the unit again and the vent tester kit would not work. Used my thermocouple and checked airflow cycling on the unit and found it cycling properly. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Informed customer that the noise is coming from the drain hose and water inlet hoses hitting the back of unit during spin. Arrived on site for a washing machine making a loud noise. Upon arrival the customer stated the sound began during the rinse/spin part of the cycle. They provided a video and it sounded like a loud chatter. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error codes. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and it ran through as designed. I manually activated each component and could not replicate the noise. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found some white dust. I gained access to the cam and found it not making great contact with the gears causing the teeth to skip on each other. The cam was ground down and needing to be replaced. I replaced the cam. The unit is now working as designed. No gearcase oil was present. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=-4 degrees & RC=54 degrees. I disassembled the RC section and removed the evap cover and found the evaporator with ice built up on it. I removed the ice from the defrost thermistor and found it blackened and popped. I removed and replaced the evap cover and removed the ice with my steamer. Secured the thermistor to the suction line with foil tape and ziptie (photo). Reassembled the RC section and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine leaking and the unit having wet clothes at the end of the cycle. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit would drip out of the front sometimes. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F0E2 for over suds, F5E2 for lock failure, F8E1 for long fill. I cleared the error codes. I then ran a test cycle with the top of the unit off and found it ran through as designed. I observed no leaks. I toggled the lid lock and found it running as designed. I inspected the pressure hose and found it in good shape. I blew through the hose in case there were any suds in it. Upon further inspection I found the drain ports in the door gasket clogged with dog hair. I could not replicate the failure at the time of service. I informed the customer on my findings and walked them through proper cleaning of the gasket.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that will not progress through any cycle, I gained access to service diagnostics and checked for fault codes, I found one fault code pertaining to stuck key and an additional related to bad communication between the ACU and the UI, i gained access to the UI and control and removed the p1a connector per the tech sheet and found that upon restoring the power to the unit that the control does not force the drain pump, the tech sheet recommends replacing the control. Arrived on site for a refrigerator with the ice maker not working. I checked temps in the unit and found the FC at 0?F. I then put the unit into diagnostics mode and found the ice maker getting stuck in the break position. Due to this I replaced the IM. I tested the unit and found the same issue. I gained access to the wiring at the door hinge and found it stressed. I ohmd out the harness and found it out of range. Due to this the door with the harness will need to be replaced. I removed and replaced the filter head and recommended that the customer purchase a new filter due to the previous one being defective. Tested the unit without the filter and the water and ice maker are dispensing water. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site and inspected refrigerator and found customer doesnt like how freezer ice drawer slowly closes. Doesnt like pull distance from soft close drawers in fresh food.

Arrived onsite fo r refrigerator making abnormal vibrating noises. On arrival I confirmed the complaint and the noises seemed to be coming from the compressor area. I pulled the unit out of its spot and the noises decreased to almost un noticeable. I found the cardboard bottom against the condenser is casing the noise. I used some of the existing sound pads on the unit and wedged them between the condenser and bracket. The noise went away. I found that the flooring has deep grout joints which seems to be contributing to the noise. I advised the customer of my findings and explained what I did to remedy the situation. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for ice maker leaking. Upon arrival tested unit. Ran harvest test and fill. About 5 seconds after fill the ice maker began to leak. Found ice maker failed. Replaced ice maker. Ran test and filled. No leaks present at this time. Job complete

Forced defrost cycle and measured voltage to defrost heater and found none. Measured defrost circuit and found 28 ohms. Found control not sending voltage to heater. Found failed control. Removed failed control and installed new. Programed control and performed diagnostics mode. Forced defrost cycle and found 120 volts. Removed from adaptive defrost to basic defrost cycle. All tested good, no water leaks detected. Customer can power unit off and allow 24 hours for unit to thaw or allow unit to catch up defrosting and may take up to a week to cool properly. All tested good, no water leaks detected during service. Spoke with customer on defrosting unit and service performed."

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with residual frosted rails sticking and preventing a good seal. Replaced brackets and heat treated gasket. Unit is now operating as designed.
