"Arrived on site to inspect washer timer not advancing. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they recently replaced the timer and the unit continues to not operate correctly. I disassembled the control panel and found one of the timer mounts was broken not securing the timer to the panel. Tested the unit by turning the timer and pulling the knob out and the only thing the unit would do was fill with water. I tested voltage at the motor control to the lid switch and found it getting 120V. Tested on drain & spin and left it turned on for 10+ mins and the unit failed to operate. I let it run for several minutes, but the compressor never turned on. I gained access to the control and inverter. I checked voltage at both, and both were good. This indicates a bad inverter board. I unplugged the unit and installed the new inverter board. Once I plugged the unit in, the compressor began to run. I verified a frost pattern was being created. The unit is now running as designed. I informed the customer that it may take 24-48 hours to reach a good temperature. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator losing cool. Upon arrival the customer stated that they have had the unit serviced by a prior company, and they thawed out the freezer compartment. They found this helped, but only worked for a few months and then frosted back up. They started losing cool again. I checked temps and found the RC at 51?F and the FC at 9?F. Upon further inspection I found the evap cover covered in ice. I gained access to the evap and the defrost control. I jumped the defrost control and found the unit would go into a defrost, and voltage was being sent to the heater. I found that the defrost control would not progress on its own. I found the element and defrost thermostat worked as designed. This indicates a faulty defrost control. I installed the new control and the unit is now working as designed. I thawed out the evap with my steamer, but could not get all of the ice on the back of the evap. I advised the customer to keep the unit off for at least 24 hours to allow the remaining ice to thaw. I gained access and removed the console and replaced it, I informed the customer that they would need to connect to wifi on the unit using the whirlpool app otherwise they would run into more intermittent issues on the console. He also advised the only one of the elements on the cooktop seems to have a little trouble heating. He advised that it does sometimes heat very well. But when they remove it or move it, it seems to take forever to work properly. Checked resistance on the cooked up element and found it within range. Checked voltage going to the housing and found proper voltage. I did find the element not making good contact with the housing. Fixed connection and tested the unit. The unit worked as designed. Went to the bake element and check resistance across the bake element. Found it going between open and closed. Removed element and found it cracked and burnt at the very end of the element. Replace element and tested the unit. The unit began to work as designed. Call complete."

I manually tested the spin mode and immediately the gearcase began to make a loud metal on metal grinding noise. After getting authorization, I removed and replaced the gearcase, clutch and slider and calibrated the unit. Tested the unit in diagnostics and it is operating as designed. Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s not starting cycles. Inspected unit in the work area. The customer advise the unit will sit in sensing and then will completely stop the machine saying the unit has finished the cycle. She advised that her husband had power cycled the unit and the unit has seemingly run fine for the last 3 to 4 cycles. She just wanted to have the unit checked to make sure there wasn?t anything they were doing wrong or anything wrong with the unit. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F6 E3 (ACU cannot hear MCU). Checked voltage at the main control and all voltage checks seem to be good. Ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. I did advise to the customer that it may have just been a glitch in the control and power resetting it may have taken care of it but offered to replace the main control just in case. The customer advised that she would rather not replace the control at this time since she knows how the unit works and what she can do to get it to work.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator intermittently stops cooling and ice maker leaking water. Upon further inspection, I found the unit operating. I tested temps in the FC= -1 degrees. I tested voltage at the wall and got 120V. I removed the evap cover and found a good frost pattern, I found frozen water droplets on the fill tube at the back left of the FC section and some ice inside the fill tube. Tested the control by turning the dial off and on and it operated as designed and the defrost element came on while testing. Pulled the unit out on my floor protector and inspected the fill tube at the back of the unit. I found old water streaks around the fill tube at the top corner and along the back panel. I found an air gap between the spout and back panel which is allowing warm air into the FC section and creating moisture and then its freezing, which when the ice maker fills and the fill tube is blocked with ice, the water has nowhere to go except out the back of the unit.Office to schedule return service. No water leaks observed during service. I used permagum to seal off the gap at the fill tube at the back of the unit until I can return with parts. ; O-emld tckt"

Thermal fuse had no continuity and had shorted out. Found gasket was kinked in the bottom left corner and flattened all the way around. Flattened gasket was allowing heat to travel into UI and control causing thermal fuse to short. Tested oven by using jumper across thermal fuse connectors and oven is heating as designed and blower is blowing. "Arrived on site for a range that turn itself off and kicked on the fan. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the end it was flashing an F1 error code. He did advise that he tested it again afterwards and it did not replicate the issue the second time but felt like there was something going on with the unit. Tested the unit on a bake cycle at 350?. The unit deadbeat wants it reached a breaking temperature. Tested temperatures and found the unit sitting at 346?F. I increased the temperature to 400?F and ran the unit for another 25 minutes. The unit was cycling between 379?F and 420?F. I turn the unit off due to not being able to replicate the issue and attempted to cool down the oven cavity babe opening the door. Found the fan that was running was the fan at the controls to keep the controls from overheating. After 6 to 7 minutes, the unit began to flash an F1 error code. I spoke to SW and was advised that the most likely issue with the unit since the unit was holding proper temperature was an issue with the control board. ; ordrng 1 74004349 (cntrl-elec)"

Arrived on site for dishwasher not starting. I inspected the unit and work area. I found fault code f7e2 variable speed motor fault. I put the unit through a diagnostics cycle. I found the unit filling but the wash motor not engaging. I am ordering the sump and motor assembly to complete the repair. Arrived on site for STOPPED MID WAY THRU AND THERE IS STANDING--NOT ABLE TO RESET OR START OVER OR GET IT TO DRAIN just appears dead right now but there is power to the unit. Found dishwasher was getting g 120 but wouldnt turn on. Found top right torque screw was missing. Two other torque screws that hold in console were loosely secured. Once console was removed I found two of the plastic mounts the torque screws mount into were gone and one was rattling around inside console. Only one mount was still there holding the console in place. Tested bi-metal and it had failed. Explained to customer these gaps and loose fit was allowing steam and hot air into the console making the bi-metal fail.

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival replaced control console and broil proceeded to test unit is now operating as designed. Job Completed.

Arrived on site for for a chain being stuck in the wash plate. I removed the wash plate and basket. I removed all chain pieces I found. I reassembled the unit and ran a high speed spin and agitation. The unit is working as designed.

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher with low heat and not drying dishes properly, i gained access to the unit and found that the unit is operating properly but the element is caked with powder from pods and powder on previous uses causing the heating to be dramatically lessened. "Arrived onsite for refrigerator tripping breaker. Upon arrival customer notified me that about two weeks ago and yesterday, the refrigerator breaker was tripped. Very intermittent issue. Called Whirlpool tech line for recommendations. Provided SR#7732213099. Tech ran test on unit for feedback and found none. Tech recommended customer have electrician replace breaker to standard breaker and not GFCI/ARC breaker. Customer will notify builder. Job complete"
