"Arrived outside for a refrigerator thats not cooling and is having ice melting. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and found a defrost issue in the freezer section but no defrost issue in the refrigerator compartment. I tested the evaporator fan in the freezer section and found that it would not come on. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Orlando SR# 7733237727. He advised at the unit has a no issue for the freezer evaporator pans causing the power outage issues and new prost issues. He advice to replace the freezer evaporator fan and they call back if further issues persist. When I went to disassemble the freezer evaporator cover, found ice buildup on both sides of the Styrofoam cover. Attempted to defrost part of it but found the cover completely iced over and unwilling to budge.Spoke to CS and was advised to also run through checks on the defrost heater and return based on known issues. Found the defrost bimetal closed and the heater kicking on when putting it into a force defrost. When I went to reassemble the unit, one of the slide rails fell and broke the door switch underneath in the freezer section. Ordering the door switch and will return with the FC evaporator fan assembly, and UI once the refrigerator is completely thawed. Rescheduled customer to 3/28.; ordrng 1 W11291142 (Door switch)"

Pressures held at -30/0. I installed 4.5oz of R134a refrigerant and monitored pressures and the evaporator frost pattern. Pressures were good at 1/130 and unit had a good frost pattern. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. I recommended that the customer allow the unit to fully cool for approximately 48 hours before placing food items back into the unit."

Arrived on site for a dishwasher getting an F9E1 error code. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F9E1 for no drain and F9E2 for drain motor electrical problem. I cleared the error codes. I manually activated the drain and found it not energizing. I checked voltage going to the drain pump and found it good. This indicates a faulty pump. I installed a new drain pump and then tested the unit. I ran a test cycle and found the unit now working a designed. No leaks observed at the time of service. Call complete.

Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. My preheat temp was 347 degrees. My next five readings were 330, 368, 352, 378 and 356 giving me an average temp of 356.8 which is well within the 15 degree above and 15 degree below temps approved by the manufacturer. Arrived on site for microwave not heating. Upon arrival from complaint and found the photos of the door switches. Then found at magnetron capacitor and I was not working correctly and magnetron showed signs of internal damage with bent fins as well as damage magnets.. After replacing all three I found at the house voltage transformer was still failing. Arrived onsite for unit not heating hot enough. Tested the unit. Unit tested good on all burners and the oven is working with no issues. Called tech line. New coils have a temperature sensor in the middle of the unit that shuts off when it gets too hot to keep from any grease fires from happening. Said there nothing to be changed on the unit as it is working as designed. That management will need to find an owners manual to look up how the new coils work on this unit. "Arrived on site. Pierced low side pressure reading -20 diagnosed a leak in the system,replaced the evaporator,compressor and a uv drier, vacuumed system down unit kept vacuum recharged system to manufacture spec powered unit on checked low side pressure good checked frost pattern good.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine throwing an F6E2 error and then not powering on. I tested the unit and found the console not lighting up or powering on. I was able to get it into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F6E2 for UI communication error. However, none of the buttons worked again after that. I checked voltage at the wall and found it good. I then checked voltage at the control to the UI and found a good 5VDC going to it. This indicates a bad console. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found significant gearcase oil. I removed the rotor and found more oil under. I also found significant play on the gearcase shaft. This indicates a faulty gearcase. I gave the customer two quotes of one with just the console and the other with the console and gearcase. I informed the customer that the gearcase is starting to go bad, but the immediate repair is the console. Call complete."

I started a 350 test with an internal temperature of 74 degrees, measured with a K-type thermocouple and placed center mass within the oven chamber. After 12 minutes, it claimed the 350 preheat at 402 degrees and declined. Heating engaged at 324 and reached 374. I advised the CX that the unit is heating and cycling as designed."

"Arrived to inspect RC too warm. I found the FC at 7.2 and 19.2 lower RC with 63.7 upper RC. I found the RC fan would not engage within service test mode and the evaporator was full of ice. The CX will defrost the unit for 48 hours and well return to complete service.. I advised the CX in towel placement and to periodically check for moisture to protect the flooring. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for unit leaking water. Looked at the unit and did find that the bottom of the freezer had a layer of ice. Cleared the ice. Found that the tube for the water to the ice maker needed to be re aligned with the ice maker and fill tube. The ice Maker called for water and water did not leak from the ice maker. No leaks at this time. Job complete

Arrived on site to replace light and bezel. Replaced parts test unit and found no power to the unit. Found outlet getting 123.4V and board getting 123.4v but not responding. Will need new board spoke with Shana part is non repairable ; ordrng 1 Partresearch (Part research)

"Arrived on site for complaints of frost in freezer. Found small air gap in FC door gasket. Found small amount of frost build up in freezer, close to the front by the door. Used heat gun and some silicone to remold and reseal. If issue continues we will need a new FC door gasket. No water leaks detected, job complete."

"Arrived onsite for unit not powering on. Tested the unit and panel would not turn on. Unit had the correct voltage. Upon further inspection, found that the wire for the control panel was not sitting in control correctly to get power. Pushed the connector down. Unit started working, unit heating with no issues. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that was not cooling in FC. Examined unit and found no cool in FC, and back wall completely iced over. Steamed out ice to be able to access the bimetal and heater. Tested heated circuit and found heater circuit good, bimetal good. Replaced main control since heater circuit is good. Unit should now defrost as designed. Customer advised to defrost Unit 48 hours to remove remaining ice buildup in FC. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for unit not operating and found unit fuse had blown. Inspected temp and found cycling within range and unobstructed 3 foot outside wall duct which is ideal. Replaced fuse. Advised customer on findings and repair. All checks good.
