I tested the unit and the ice maker attempted to work, but it made a banging twice before engaging. "110.25132412 Arrived to inspect noise during spin. I found the unit had slightly excessive chassis movement during spin and I removed the wash plate and inspected the drive hub. All six screws required tightening and after the repair, the basket movement, independent from the tub, was lessened. I found no signs of gear case failure or other issues and re-calibrated the machine. Opera test good, no leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not locking the lid. Inspected unit and work area. The customer also stated that the unit is seemingly leaking water into the drum when not in use. I did confirm both issues and found the lid lock trying to lock but not able to. I asked the customer if they wanted to deal with both issues at the same time and the customer advised that they did not want to work on the water issue at this time. They asked for us to just continue forward with a lid lock assembly at this juncture. Replace the lid lock assembly and tested the unit. The unit began to work as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker producing slowly. Upon further inspection, I found ice cubes wedged in the tray and not allowing the tines to complete a harvest. Also found the full tube chute full of ice. I removed the ice maker assembly and we so over the ice in the chute and didnt find any debris clogging the chute. I advised the customer due to the ice getting wedged in the tray and the chute filling with ice, the ice maker and dual valve would need to be replaced as the valve is weeping causing the water to drip into the chute and create the ice build up. I removed and replaced the valve and ice maker and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service. I cycled power to,the unit to reset controls. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Due to the intermittent issue o f the water not dispensing and not making ice, I installed the filter bypass and found the water turned off at the wall. Turned the water on and tested the water dispenser and it is operating as designed. Removed the bypass and placed the filter back in and retested and it continues to operate as designed. I tested voltage to the RFID board at the main control and got 13.69VDC. I recommended the customer leave the bypass installed and monitor the unit. Advised to contact our office if the unit continued to intermittently malfunction and at that time, I would recommend replacing the filter head and RFID board. "Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water. Upon further inspection, I removed the outer section of the panel and tested the unit in a normal wash. The basket filled approximately 3/4 full and began to agitate. I found no signs of a leak. I advanced the timer to spin and inspected the drain and hoses and again found no signs of a leak. I did find that at the back of the unit on the wall where there was a place on the baseboards where it was clean and on both sides of the clean area there was lint. I suspect the drain pipe might have possibly leaked or overflowed. I retested the unit three more times and it continued to operate as designed with no leaks. I recommended the customer monitor the unit and if possible to get a video of the leakage and contact our office if it does leak again. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

The customer also stated that beyond the washer not completing cycles, the unit is making screeching sounds when spinning. Ran unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected during fill) error code. Tested both valves and found both valves pulling insufficient water. Filled up the basket a third of the way up the basket and attempted to drain out and did not find any siphoning conditions. Round the unit there an auto test in the unit ran as designed. The customer advised that the unit was initially cooling the freezer but theyre not calling the refrigerator and so she messed with the cold control inside the freezer and then the unit started calling the refrigerator but not freezing in the freezer. She advised that she had tried changing the temperature on her control and found it was not responding to any attempts to change the temperature setting. She advised that everything had come back on two days ago and has seemingly started to work but thought the control might still be causing an issue. I did not find any evidence of a defrost issue or a cooling issue. There was no frost or moisture buildup in either compartment. I did advise the customer that because the unit was cooling and operating as designed, there was not really a way for me to determine that at this juncture. Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will get to the rent cycle and then completely stop and will not do anything further. Around the unit into diagnostics and found an F7 E1 ( basket speed fault) error code. I ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. Around the unit through a high speed spin for over two minutes and found the unit working as designed and not shutting down. I ran the unit through a tactometer test and found the tactometer was registering the basket speed properly. I checked polarity at the wall and found proper polarity. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 7735383656. He had me run a couple checks through the capacitor and the motor in the wire harness and advise that everything checked out with the unit and to instead replace the control. I replaced the control and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Advise the customer to run through a few cycles and call back if any other issues persist. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling either section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that during the freeze, their house temperature is gotten to the low 50s when it was really cold. Advised that the compressor started making a noise and then completely stopped cooling. They advised that just a few days ago the unit started working again and has been cooling and operating as designed. Found the freezer and the refrigerator at proper temperatures with ice cream solid inside the freezer. I did advise the customer that if the temperatures are below 60?, it can cause issues like this with the refrigerator and that they will need to make sure that they keep their inside temperature between 60?F and 85?F. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to diagnose a microwave that isn't heating. Found magnetron and inverter shorted and replaced both parts. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time.

Arrived on site for an ice machine that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the ice cubes were getting smaller but until they finally stopped producing. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found slow water flow coming into the unit when the unit was attempting to fill. Removed the water filter and found water pressure increase into the unit. Advise the customer that their issue is most likely with their filter and ask them if theyd prefer to buy one from me or to go to the store. The customer advised that they would go to the store. Then it is now working as designed. Cole complete.

Arrived onsite for microwave not heating. Upon arrival inspected unit. Tested and all components are functioning except not heating. Uninstalled and disassembled unit. Found failed magnetron. Replaced magnetron and tested. Unit is now functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived onsite for a range to replace previous diagnosed parts. On arrival the cooktop hot light was off. I replaced the left front infinite switch and tested all the burners including the warmer. The cooktop hot light turned off on every burner after it cooled down. The unit is working as designed. I explained to the customer to pay close attention to what burners were being used if the light starts staying on again. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for icemaker not working. On inspection found E5 error on the UI test. It would not call for water or do a harvest test. Installed new icemaker and re ran the test. When I called for water it filled the ice tray. When I called for harvest the tray dumped in found home again. Informed customer to call if no ice in the morning.

Arrived onsite for a venthood with nothing working on it. I found the control had pushed all the way into the venthood housing because the mounting screws were loose. When this happened it bent the mounting bracket not allowing the high speed fan button to slide thru the opening smoothly. I straightened the bracket and mounted the control correctly. I tested the unit and all selections are working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for dishwasher not draining. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the drain pump stuck and the chopper blades broken off. I replaced the drain pump and reassembled the unit. I tested it and found it working properly. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite for a dryer that is not heating. Upon inspection I found good power at the wall. I tested all thermistors cutoffs, and fuses. And found the all good. I checked the heating element and found that it was showing open. I visually inspected the heating element and found that it had separated. I replaced the heating element and tested the unit and found it operating as designed. Jo completed"

Arrived onsite for dryer making a squealing noise. On inspection found the belt pulley roller was seized up. Replaced the the roller and the wheels. Tested unit no noise anymore. Unit operating as designed.

Arrived onsite for small leak and found unit operating with bad suspension and no standing leaks from water parts or tub. Replaced suspension to restore function and eliminate a suspension related leak.

WMH78019HZ3 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced both switch assemblies W11197766 and tested. The unit operated and heated as designed.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator compressor making noise. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found unit powered on and running. Temperature in cabinets are ideal. Monitored then put into diagnostics. Ran test four (compressor) steps 1-5. Monitored all steps and did not hear any abnormal noises. Operating noise of 3way valve and compressor are normal. Could not duplicate any issues. Unit is functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived onsite for refrigerator leaking. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found unit powered off and water supply off. Established water supply and power to test. Customer stated water was only visible from the dispenser area and down. Not underneath unit or on the sides. Checked water lines and ice maker. Some residual water in ice bin. No signs of leaking. Customer did mention house had a power outage around same time this occurred. Looks like ice in bin melted due to outage and dripped through the chute out of the dispenser door and onto the floor. No current signs of leaks. Customer will monitor. Job complete

Arrived onsite for washer leaving clothes wet after every cycle. Upon arrival inspected unit. Ran diagnostics and found stored error code F7E5 shifter fault. F7E6 motor fault. Found unit not agitating or spinning. Inspected underneath unit and found failed shifter and capacitor. Replaced both and tested. Unit is now functioning properly. Job complete office has cc on file.

"Arrived on site and found saved error code for basket speed fault, Ran all functions in manual diagnostic cycle and did not find any issues. Inspected gear case assembly and did not see any issues. Took picture. Ran automatic test cycle and it passed, ran calibration cycle and this also passed. Sound basket and tub are not centered properly used leveling feet to correct this. This may have been causing unbalanced loads. Discussed correct loading for this model and correct detergent usage to Minimized unbalanced loads, job complete"

Arrived on site and inspected washer found drain pump catch is Full of pocket debris after clearing. Washer will complete by diagnostic cycle. Customer says clothes are hot when cycle completes and found waterlines are swapped. After collecting ran a quick wash cycle and it completed properly. Job complete

Arrived onsite for no cool complaint and found refrigerator operating as designed . Customer had experienced soft ice cream and thawing food at one time and hi freezer temp. Advised customer that if pattern occurs control may be shorting.

"Arrived onsite and found unit not drying because it could not exhaust due to slinky duct which had filled with water blocking all airflow. Removed water, determined that the the dryer would exhaust that far after water removed, advised that the unit should have the duct cleaned by building maintenance to repeat poor airflow symptom. Advised on findings and repair."
