Arrived onsite for a dryer that is experiencing long dry times. Upon inspection I found that the unit had poor airflow. Upon further inspection I found that the vent tube was full of lint I cleaned it up and the tested the unit again and found that the air flow didnt improve but the unit is heating and tumbling as normal. I suggested to the customer to have a vent cleaning company come out and at the very least check her vents to see where the air restriction is that is causing this issue

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit has been going out of balance erratically for a while, but every single load seems to be off balance at this point. Ran unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Around the unit through an auto test and found during the spin portion of the cycle, what sounded like dry bearings and the unit shaking violently. Went to go replace the gear case and found that the agitator was completely seized onto the driveshaft, indicating that the unit needed a complete rebuild. Ordering the tub, basket, agitator, hub, assembly, screws, Gear case, and cam for repair. The office will need to contact the extended warranty for authorization due to cost of repair and need for a second technician. I made the customer aware that if the extended warranty did not cover the second man that they would need to cover that cost for the repair. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is completing cycles, but is not washing well. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will make it through a wash but the clothes are not coming out clean. She also advised the unit is making sounds that it has never made before. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test and found weird noises coming from the agitator during agitation and spin. Found the agitator extremely loose. Removed the agitator and checked the basket. Found the basket wobbling from side to side, indicating a stripped hub assembly. Did confirm the customers complaint and found that the top had not been installed correctly on this unit and was off-center leaning to the left. The customer advised that sometimes when they open the door, they have lint that will come out of the dryer. They asked if there was supposed to be some sort of felt liner somewhere to help catch more than lint. I did explain to the customer that their dryer was set up properly and that lint inside of the dryer could indicate an issue with airflow. did find that the dryer had a huge loop and did explain to the customer that they may want to shorten their vent hose going into the wall. Arrived onsite for unit not powering on. Upon arrival inspected unit. Unit was unplugged. Powered unit and unit powered on. Tested and unit started and heated properly. Could not duplicate any issue. No error codes at this time. Job complete

Arrived on site to replace console to resolve light/ unresponsive UI. Replaced console and resecured light connector on control. Tested unit and verified all proper operation. Repair completed.

"Arrived onsite to replace harness and thermistors. Recorded readings prior to cycle. Recorded 8.52 k ohms/44.4 k ohms. For thermistors. Replaced parts. Ran full cycle on towels, high heat and more dry setting. Allowed to complete however customer was not satisfied with results. Towels have the very slightest dampness. Called tech line for assistance. SR#7736783517. Tech stated all checks show unit is in spec and functioning as designed. If the load needs more time 5-10 minutes, a timed dry cycle can be used. Arrived onsite for burner not working. On inspection found that the middle burner was turning off got between high and simmer. This is a known issue that the valve has to be replaced. Ordering a new valve; ordrng 1 W11246817 (Center burner valve .)

"Arrived on site for washer, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint making really loud noises. Inspected the cam and belt area and found no gear oil only the grease that comes on the gear case shaft. Im ordering a belt and returning with pre-screened parts. Returning tech to install belt, cam, screws and gearcase. No leaks where observed during service. Arrived onsite for a no cool refrigerator. I found the evaporator completely frosted over and put the unit in a forced defrost but the heater was not turning on. Diagnostics showed a failed defrost thermistor. The customer stated that he had only had the refrigerator for a couple of months but could not find the POP at this time. I explained that I would order the parts needed for the issue and went over defrost instructions explaining to fully defrost 48 hours before we return but also explained that he needed to contact the office and send in the POP for the repair to get covered under warranty. Ordering W11650659 heater and WPW10384183 thermistor. Marking all other prescreened parts as UORV. Office to RS.; ordrng 1 W11650659 (Heater) and 1 WPW10384183 (Thermistor)

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival I installed the new door seal and screws and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed. No leaks

"Arrived on site for a dryer that smells like smoke. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the house was her daughters house and she was unsure as to what exactly was going on with it. I plugged the unit in and immediately saw sparks coming from the back of the unit. Unplug the unit and remove the back cover. Found that the high limit thermostat had completely blown and the wire harness surrounding it. I had completely grounded against the blower wheel housing. The unit will need a new wire, harness, fuse, and I limit thermostat for repair. Ordering the wire harness and rescheduled the customer to 7/25.; ordrng 1 WPW10450286 (Wire harness)"

"Arrived on site and found Test 56 shows E5, cleared error by cycling power to refrigerator at breaker for 1 minute. Icemaker passed test 57, passed 45, passed test 36, freezer temper is 3 degrees, icebox temperature is 19. Spoke with techline they recommended also running 58 which passed. Checked thermistor at control and it is correct. Tech line recommended replacing icemaker heater I believe it may be intermittently freezing. If issue continues and icemaker will be needed customer is aware they are back ordered. Tech line should also be contacted again on return visit 7736885590"

Arrived onsite for gas cooktop clicking. Upon arrival inspected and found customer was experiencing normal operation. Igniters are in series but only the burner which the gas valve is opened will ignite. Instructed customer that this is operating as designed. Job complete

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is flashing an F2 E2 (UI unresponsive) error code. The customer advised this code generally appears at the end of the cycle and that they were having consistent issues with it. Did confirm the customers complaint and replaced the user interface assembly. Ran the unit through diagnostics and the unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling. Upon arrival confirmed complaint and found larg ice build up blocking airflow in fc evap area. Found evap thermistor at 31.8k while buried in ice indicating it was registering it needed to defrost. Found rc thermistor at 2.8k found 130 v from ACU to heater in diagnostics but heater wiring was not properly seated in locked position. Replaced ACU, rc thermistor and insured heater was was locked and secure. Removed all ice from evap coil and inf9r Ed customer to give unit 24 hrs to stabilize temps. Call complete"

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival I installed the new dispenser and tested the unit and found the unit operating as designed no leaks at time of service

Arrived onsite to replace electronics per whirlpool technician recommendations. Replaced components and tested. Unit is cooling. Customer will monitor temperatures over 24 hrs. Job complete

Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not making ice in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Found that the model and serial information that was sent over to us was not complete. Updated the model and serial information on the call ticket. Ran unit through diagnostics and found all components pass except for the icemaker error codes. It showed an E2 indicating that the motor had lost position and could not find the home position. I am ordering an icemaker and will return with the control just in case. I did test the icemaker fill test and found water flowing into the icemaker. Arrived on site for ice maker not working. Upon arrival customer stated u it had been intermittently making ice for the past week. Upon further inspection I found unit getting stuck in harvest mode and not pushing ice out. Verified unit had correct power. Tried replacing ice maker but found new part was doa and not operating at all. Rescheduled customer for 07/26/23 to complete repairs.; ordrng 1 W11548540 (Ice maker)

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to,the sealed system failure, I removed and replaced the compressor, access valve and UV dye drier and vacuumed the system. Pressures held good and I installed 5.75oz of R134a refrigerant and tested the unit in diagnostics test 4. Unit is beginning to cool and pressures held good at 2/155. Recommended the customer allow the unit to cool for approximately 48 hours before placing food items back inside. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
