KDTM404KPS0 arrived on site to inspect a dishwasher not starting. Inspected and found water in the unit and when I tried to drain it nothing would happen. Placed the unit into service mode and received F8E1 and F10E2 error codes. Cleared the codes and tested. The unit filled and the motor was quieter than normal. The unit stopped and the F6E1 code was produced. Inspected the water connections and ui connections and found them to be in good condition. Replaced the main control and tested again and received F7E1 and F9E1 codes. Replaced the pump and motor and tested and the unit is operating as designed with no water leaks observed and no error codes produced.

On further inspection did not see any leaks until about 20 minutes after the gas was on I got slight hit on the right valve. Arrived on site to inspect side by side refrigerator. I found ice build up on the evaporator. I found ice directly above the defrost heater indicating the unit has not defrosted. I ran the defrost heater in service test mode and found good heat and 1.4 running amps. The main control is not allowing the unit to defrost. I removed and replaced the main control. I instructed maintenance to defrost the unit for 36 hours before powering back up. The unit now operates as designed. No leaks observed during service.

Upon further inspection, the customer had pulled the unit out to clean out the vent and I found the vent tube that connects the unit to the wall vent was not connected at the wall (photo). Using my vent test kit, I tested airflow to the unit with the vent tube removed from the wall vent and it passed (photo). I reattached the vent and tested airflow two more times and both tests failed (photo). With the unit door open, I pressed the door switch closed and tested the unit on Timed Dry High Heat and the unit is heating as designed. I recommended the customer have a professional check/clean the vents to the roof. No lint observed within the unit, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a wall oven with condensation running out of the upper oven and into the lower oven door. I found the door gaskets good and sealing properly. I tested the upper oven and found it working as designed. I ran it up to 500 degrees and was getting a lot of smoke inside the oven. The customer stated they never did burn the oven out. I recommended doing this with both ovens until they are no longer smoking. The customer showed me a video of the water running down the lower oven door glass when she was cooking in the upper oven. She stated she was dehydrating fresh cut potatoes when this happened. I removed the lower oven door and disassembled it and we cleaned the door glass to remove all the water streaks. I recommended using the lower oven when cooking products with moisture to prevent this from happening. I went over with the customer on covering any product that has a lot of moisture content. I called techline and spoke with Jonathan SR# 7737782817. Jonathan documented my findings and agreed with what I told the customer.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they had some issues with the electrical when they first moved in as they used the dryer and it tripped the breaker. Electrical has been repaired, but the dryer doesnt heat. I tested voltage at the wall and got 253V. Inspected the terminal block and it was wired correctly and getting the same voltage reading as the outlet. I disassembled the unit to find the element had shorted and the coil was broken and welded to the element housing. I removed and replaced the element and tested and the unit is heating as designed. "F9-E2 drain motor electrical problem, and F8-E4 overfill switch open. Test unit by running a normal cycle. Inspected fill valve. Supply hose, drain pump, drain hose, and sump. All are good with no leaks. Test drain pump and is operating correctly and all water drains correctly. Found water leaking from top left corner of door gasket , but not leaking into drip pan. Contacted SW for assistance. After series of questions and checks. Recommend replacement of sump and motor. Upon replacement of sump and motor, found drain pump harness connection on new sump and motor is fractured. Repaired connection. Replaced sump and motor. Unit is not operating. Ran diagnostics and getting F7-E1 single speed wash motor failure on new sump and motor. Checked all connections and all are good. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer showed me the baseboards/cabinet wall to the right of the unit which is showing water damage (photo). I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. While testing, I removed the toeplate and insulation and inspected underneath the unit for any leaks. The completed testing and no signs of a leak were visible underneath. I pulled the unit out and found mold build up on the back wall and on a board to the back right area (photo). Customer advised their roof leaked during the most recent rain storms and provided a video and photo of the water coming inside the home (photos). I retested the unit while I had it pulled out and found no signs of a water leak. I advised the customer that the recent rain storm more than likely caused the water leak issue and I recommended they have someone inspect the interior walls for mold. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a wall oven the is showing F2E1 ERROR CODE. Upon arrival the code was present on the screen. I power cycled the unit and found no change I replaced the ui and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed. Upon further inspection I found that the door seal was flattened which can cause hot/steam to escape and flowing to the ui causing this issue. I fluffed the seal back up to creat a better seal and I also advised the customer to do this every so often to help with the issue.
