Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not dispensing ice intermittently. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that sometimes the ice gets stuck in the ice chute when they dispense cubed ice. Check the ice container and found all the cubes were proper sizes and there was no clumping going on in the ice container. Tested the unit five times and was able to dispense cubed ice as designed. I did not find any obstructions inside the ice shoot or the ice container causing the issue. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7735137927. He advised that the issue would most likely be due to ice clumping in the ice container and that the reason why we cannot replicate it right now is because the ice is not clumped. Checked all door gaskets and found all door gasket sealing properly. He advised that this is a Yusen care issue and the consumer will need to dump the ice bin out once every week to two weeks and to make note for the repair. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making excessive noise when in use. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that it sounds like the motor is shorting out when the unit is running and thought there would be an issue due to the excessive noise in the washer mix when in use. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran the unit to an auto test and the customer advise the sound it was making when the unit was in agitation. "Arrived to inspect no cool. I found the unit not cooling and I pressurized to 140 psi and monitored. Seeing no change in 10 minutes, I lowered the pressure to 120 so I could monitor on both gauges accurately, for an additional 10 minutes. Seeing no change, I thoroughly swept the system from both directions with nitrogen and R/Rd the compressor and vacuumed to 340 microns. Holding vacuum for an additional 15 minutes, I charged with the MFG prescribed refrigerant charge and tested. The unit cooled as designed. No leaks observed during service. I contacted the MFG and advised of the 2nd compressor and findings. file#7735148787."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer error codes. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that theyve had two other repair companies service the unit and could not repair the unit and advised that previous techs disassembled the unit. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F9E2. I cleared the code and continued with testing and the unit operated as designed. I performed another diagnostics test and again the unit operated as designed. I tested the unit in a timed dry mode for 10 mins and the unit operated as designed. I tested one more time in diagnostics and timed dry mode and the unit continued to operate properly. "Arrived to inspect continuous ice production issue. I measured temperature and the FC showed -8?F, plenty cool for ice production. I heard the unit attempt to cycle and fill and the ice that was dropped was hollow and very wet, indicating a likely short-cycled ice production. The RC measured at 33? and was set to 42. I removed the water supply line and found a large amount of debris from the supply within the home. I flushed with approximately five gallons of water and found no more visible signs of debris. I noted the ice maker would short cycle after about 10 minutes repeatedly. I R/Rd the ice maker and tested. The CX requested the filter and I added it to the charge. I added a 6? offset increase to both the FC and RC chambers. No leaks observed during service."

I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F9E1-long drain. Cleared the code and continued with testing and when the drain pump came on at the beginning of diagnostics, I could hear that it was struggling to drain the water from the unit. I canceled testing and pulled the unit out and removed the back panel to gain access to the drain pump. I removed the drain pump filter and found a large amount of debris inside the filter (photo). Corrected door handles, added Perma gum around waterline connection and this did not correct issue. Will need to bring back a water pressure regulator and in-line waterline to correct issue. Arrived on site to test unit for no ice production. Found water level sensor thinking reservoir is full when empty. Also found compressor kicking on and off intermittently. "Arrived on site to diagnose oven throwing an F1E0 code. On arrival found code is present, which is a code for display board failure. Arrived onsite for a freezer with the over temp light staying on. I checked the temp inside the freezer and found it at 0 degrees and the over temp light was on. I could not get the over temp light to reset using the control. I cycled power and was able to get it to reset and turn off. The customer stated that they did reset the light but after about three hours it had come back on. The customer stated that nothing in the freezer has ever thawed or become soft. I explained to the customer that I would order another control and to monitor and see if the light comes back on. If it doesnt turn back on then it should be good and the call should be cancelled. "Arrived onsite for Not Cooling - Both Sections . Upon arrival inspected unit and found compressor energizing , then turning off after a couple seconds. Test compressor and found common to ground showing resistance. Contacted SW for assistance. Suspecting a burn out. Returning tech Check for possible burnout. This is a r134a system.Ordering complete sealed system components including compressor,evaporator,condenser,access valve,UI drier, nitrogen, tube kit. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not cleaning dishes. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the drain screen is missing and the lower spray arm is not attached and the unit is not cleaning the dishes well. I inspected the unit and found the screen missing and the lower spray arm not attached properly. Re-attached the spray arm and placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F7E1-incoming water temps too low. I cleared the code and continued with testing. I tested amp draw at the harness mat the junction box and found the element is showing 7-9amps during wash and drying cycles of diagnostics. All of the other components are within amp draw range as well. Customer advised that they have a water softener system. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use (see photo of LBH). No water leaks observed during service. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling correctly in either compartment. I found out the unit is getting partially cold in the FC but the RC is at room temp except at the bottom. I found 123VAC to the evaporator fan and its not running. The fan will need to be replaced. The customer will not be back until December 25th. Ordering WP2315549 evaporator fan. Arrived onsite and found fresh food sectionn 65 degrees. Found freezer at 10f. Found evap frozen through with over an inch of ice. Called techline to report findings. Spoke with Bruce and with drew. Sr#7735106970 found thermistors in range and found the heater circuit open line from the control. Ordering sealed system repair to replace evap and heater assembly. ; ordrng 1 R600 (Evap heater circuit open line from control) and 1 R600 (LOKRING required Aluminum cap tube)

"Arrived on site for washer, inspected unit and work area. customer complaint was washer not draining or spinning properly. Stored error codes F0E3 F8E1 F2E1. Called techline and spoke with Andrew sr#7735110171 and suggested to replace control board. Im ordering control and scheduled customer to return on 11/30/22 and office will contact customer with time frame. No leaks where observed during service.

Arrived on site for washer giving IE error towards end of cycle. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found cause of failure was cold side inlet valve. After getting customer authorization made repair and tested unit on 3 cycles and verified no errors were occurring. No leaks present. Call complete

"Arrived to inspect ice dispensing continuously. I found the actual issue with the unit was the auger motor for the ice bin was that part running and the ice being dumped out was actually due to the pressure of the ice from the auger and not from being commanded open by the UI. I tested at P13 of the main board and found a closed circuit to the auger motor at all times, allowing line VAC to pass through anytime the door switch was closed.
