"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not freezing in the freezer section intermittently. Inspected unit and work area. Took a temperature of the freezer but soon as I arrived on site and found the freezer at 5?F. Removed evaporator cover and found no evidence of any defrost issues. The customer advised that the unit would cool but then would completely defrost itself before refreezing causing his ice to clump and not be able to dispense. They advised that they have lost food multiple times due to this issue. I checked the condenser coil?s and found them completely covered in Lent. I asked the customer the last time that they had cleaned the condenser coil?s and he advised that he didn?t remember. Cleaned off the condenser coil?s and went to the back of the unit. Found the compressor extremely hot to touch most likely due to inability of the unit to re-circulate air through the condenser coil?s and overheating the compressor. The compressor did kick on after a few minutes. I advised the customer to unplug the unit for a few hours to allow the compressor and refrigerant to cool before running the unit again. With as much lint removed from the condenser coil?s, I advise that they would continue to have this issue if they did not allow the unit to cool down properly first. Customer will leave the unit unplugged for several hours before continuing to cool the refrigerator and freezer. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

The customer advised that they are unable to raise or lower their left side of the rack because the button won?t come up to allow it to change position. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling either section. Inspected unit and work area. Found the interior lights on but nothing actually running. The customer advised that his user interface has become nonresponsive. How?s your press any other buttons on the user interface all the lights came on but nothing would show the UI was actually working. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator freezer not cooling and unit making loud noise. Upon further inspection, customer advised they found ice on the back wall of the FC section. I checked the FC section evap cover and found ice on it and ice on the bottom of the FC section. I removed the evap cover and found a block of ice at the top right corner of the evaporator on the cap tube and suction lines. Using my steamer, I removed the ice and tested the FC defrost in diagnostics. Defrost bimetal is showing to be open and the defrost element is working. I removed and replaced the FC evap harness/bimetal and retested and unit is operating as designed. In test 7 of diagnostics, I changed the defrost time to 2 (8 hours). No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not allowing hot water to come in to the unit. Inspected unit and worked area. Confirmed the customers complaint and found that the unit was only pulling in lukewarm water. Checked the range the thermistor and found it within range. Was able to pour hot water from the hot water valve one in diagnostics. According to the text you told me to replace the control. Replace the control and ran it through a calibration cycle. The unit still has the same affect. When ahead and replace the valve with the thermistor just in case and tested the unit the unit still would not pull in hot water during a hot water cycle. Arrived onsite for microwave with hood light not turning off. Upon inspection I confirmed the complaint. I accessed the nearness to the socket and found a small burnout on the connector. No plastic melted just soot. The customer stated the light went out and now with the replacement it will not turn off. I found the replacement is a LED bulb. I advised that this bulb will not turn off due to a mis match with that style bulb and main control. I replaced the main control due to the burnout and symptoms described. I tested the unit and it is working as designed. I advised the customer replace the bulbs with a halogen bulb part#8206232A job complete.

"Arrived on site for a dryer making a loud screeching noise. Upon arrival the customer stated the sound occurs every time they run it. I ran the unit several times with a load of clothes and could not replicate the noise. I gained access to inside the unit and found the belt, wheels, and pulley all in good condition. I found the felt around the tub intact as well. Upon further inspection I found the unit with significant lint build up in the interior. I cleaned the lint with my dry vac and informed my customer on this. I assembled the unit and tested it again. The unit is still working as designed. Call complete."

I found 125vac from PX3-2 to neutral. I checked the broil element and it showed open with the bake element showing 20 ohms. I found the UI not responding to touch and you have to press very hard to get a reaction. I am ordering the broil element, main control and console to complete the repair. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator not making any ice. On arrival checked icemaker and found a sheet of ice under the shelf in the FC. Removed evap cover and found an ice formation behind the panel due to fill tube issue. Found the fill tube was shoved into the fill bucket so tight that water was shooting out the slit in the top of the fill tube. Sliced off a small amount of tube to allow the icemaker to fill properly and removed some of the ice. Due to how thick the ice was I advised the customer on unplugging the unit for 24 hours to allow that ice to melt. I did test and found the icemaker is filling now, but slowly, so there is still likely some ice in the line. Advised customer to follow up with us if the icemaker isnt producing after they plug it in and we can change out the valve and fill tube. Call complete."

I arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed the new valve and then tested the unit. I found the water reservoir now frozen. I cleared the reservoir. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. Unit is stand alone fridge. Upon inspection found unit at 45-50 degrees. Disassembled unit and found ice ball at top right corner of evaporator. Unit has sealed system issue. Unit will need compressor, evaporator, dryer and valve replacement.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that was not heating. Upon arrival the customer stated at first the unit was completely unresponsive, and they reset the breaker and the unit would then turn on. Although, the unit would not heat. I tested the unit and found no heat at all. I checked voltage at the wall and terminal block. Both were good. I then gained access to the inside of the unit and found the purple heater wire burned off. Per the GE service bulletin the wire needs to be replaced with a specific wire kit and the element.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Removed belt switch and installed new belt switch. This commercial model must have the door switch connected in order to test the motor. At first I couldnt get the dryer to turn on, but after connecting the door switch to test the dryer it began running and heating as designed.

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that was making loud noises when dispensing water. Ran unit and could hear almost a jackhammer like sound coming from the unit. Customer showed me that if they push on the filter housing or tinker with the filter or remove it, the noise stops. Recommended replacement of filter housing, sounds like seal / valves are failing and causing airation and noise.

"Arrived on site to inspect oven leaking air and microwave turntable not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the microwave with a cup of water and when I pressed start, the turntable did not turn unless I pressed the turntable on/off key. I checked turntable settings in the settings mode and found it turned off in settings. Turned it back on and retested and it is operating as designed. Customer advised the oven is releasing hot air from under the door. I advised the unit cooling fan vent is directly under the door and tested the oven on Bake at 350 degrees. I demonstrated to the customer the air coming out from under the door. I inspected the oven door gasket and found it good as I was able to reform it.

Arrived onsite for range with oven not igniting. Upon inspection I found the unit seemingly igniting as designed. I ran bake multiple times before I was able to recreate a failure. I found the ignitor would intermittently not spark when called for. Gas would release but no spark. I could hear the spark or clicking.The customer agreed so I replaced the part and tried to recreate failure. I was not blue to get the unit to fail and it is working as designed at this time. Arrived onsite and found unit underside light circuit failed from split component on the control

Arrived onsite and found washer making scraping sound while spinning. Advised gained access to tub and found underwire caught in the basket. Removed obstruction and found unit to be operating as designed. Advised customer on repair.

Checked safety devices and found high temp cutoff open.Verified with customer present that unit is heating, and also showed them the failed airflow reading. "Arrived on site for ice build on the top right of the fridge. I inspected the unit and work area. I found ice build up in the top right corner of the freezer door. I tested the door tracks and found the, pulling the door closed as designed. I found the fc fan not turning off when the door is opened and the light not coming on. I tested the switch and nothing changed. I forced the unit through a defrost and found the defrost heater coming on but the fc fan still running. I power cycled the unit and retested it. The fc switch now works and the light comes on. I put the unit back through a defrost, and found the fc fan turning off during defrost now. I spoke to the customer about the unit possibly needing a hv control. I told the customer that sometimes they need to be power cycle like computers to let the controls to reset. If they call back for the same issue they will need an hv control.

Arrived on site for dryer not heating properly. Ran temp and air flow test . Found air restriction. Vent tube is crushed . Recommended having vent tube replaced .

"Arrived on site and found door gasket peeling off. Installed new door gasket and tested unit. Unit tested good, no water leaks detected, job complete."

Arrived on site for oven not heating. I inspected the unit and work area. I tested the oven and found the ignitor not coming on. I gained access to the ignitor connector and found the ignitor showing 15 Mohms. I tested voltage to the ignitor when calling for heat and found 120 vac. I installed a new ignitor and tested the unit. It preheated to 350 when set and cycled an average of 353 degrees. The unit is working as designed. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for unit having some water left over in the unit. Let customer know that water at the bottom of the unit is normal as it keeps the seals moist and that if there is water left in the unit on the walls is normal until the customer decides to use rinse aid and it will help with all drying issues. "Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed console membrane, upon arrival I gained access to the unit and removed the console skin, i removed and replaced the console membrane. I gained access to the two bolts and lowered the unit on its hinges to verify that the damper is properly set, I found that the direction of the damper for the exhaust into the vent housing is proper. "Arrived on site to diagnose oven that seemed to be not heating fully, and off by 20 or more degrees. Ran temperature checks and found preheat got to 365, but cycles were only going from 270 - 310, even after adding 30 degrees. Replaced temp sensor and reran checks. Unit is now running between 330 and 370. Unit working properly.

Arrived on site for oven for long preheating times. Tested unit for long preheating time by preheating oven to 350. Oven averaged temp at 355 within 15 minutes. unit works as designed. Advised customer to use actual unit temperature and not aftermarket thermometers. Showed customer how to calibrate temperature in the future if needed.Job complete

"Arrived on site for washer showing IE error code. I inspected the unit and work area. I put the unit through a diagnostics cycle. I found no water entering. I found the water turned off. I turned the water back on, and put the unit through a diagnostics cycle. It worked as designed. I put a small load and ran a quick wash. The unit is working as designed. Job complete."

"Arrived onsite for the unit making noise. Tested the unit in automatic diagnostics, heard the unit noise but nothing was ordinarily loud. Customer showed the video during wash cycles and heard the noise but the noise seemed normal once again. Attempted to take off the stator but the bolt was too tight almost causing my torx head to break, called me tech line to report findings and wanted customer to put in clothes to wash to hear the noise but customer had nothing to wash. Tech line said then there is nothing wrong with the unit for now. Said for customer to call customer service back. No other issues at this time. Job complete"

"Arrived on site for freezer not freezing. Inspected unit and work area. Found unit at ambient temperature. Gained access to compressor and measured amp draw and found low amps indicating a leak in sealed system. Will need to replace complete sealed system to properly repair.
