"Arrived on site for a washing machine that was not starting. Upon arrival the customer stated that it will turn on, but when you try to start the cycle or switch cycles it will just beep at you. I tested the unit and was able to replicate the failure. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F0E5 for off balance load. I cleared the error code. When activating each load at found the lid lock not working, and found that the latch was physically broken. The unit was acting as if the lid was already locked. Even when running the test cycle during spin the lid could be opened. I then gained access to the control and checked voltage when activating the lid lock. I found none and when going back into diagnostics I also found a new error code of F5E1 for lid lock error. I cleared this code. During the test cycle I also found the spin not working properly. I gained access to the gearcase and found significant gearcase oil. This indicates a faulty lid lock, control, and gearcase.

Upon further inspection, I tested the broil burner and found the flame not going throughout the burner and stopping at the very beginning of the burner and could smell a strong odor of gas. I found the air shutter wide open and releasing a lot of excess gas into the oven. Closed the shutter and retested and the broiler is operating as designed. I found the bake air shutter the same way and adjusted it and tested. Bake burner is operating as designed. I tested the cooktop and found the front left burner taking too long to ignite. I found the clip holding the ignitor in place was loose causing the ignitor to drop down. I adjusted the ignitor and repositioned the clip and tested. Cooktop burners are operating as designed. Arrived on site for dryer not heating. Upon arrival confirmed issue but after further testing I found the power cord head fused together inside the outlet and after inspecting the backside of the outlet(it was free hanging from a wall) I found that the inside of the outlet had rusted and blown wire connectors not allowing the full 240 V to go to the dryer which was also tripping the breaker then found that all the heating hardware and components in the dryer were functioning within factory specs. Instructed customer that this time they will need a electrician to replace the outlet and power cord in order to ensure that the dryer can operate according to factory design. Call complete

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival the customer stated that the ice chute had also been dripping a significant amount of water. Upon further inspection I found the ice chute had a solid block of ice in there. I found that the customer had put a rag in the chute to prevent the constant drip. I cleared out the ice and found that the dispenser door was not sealing all of the way and had a lot of play. This indicates a bad dispenser door and dispenser door motor. I also found that when using both paddles on the door neither the auger motor nor valve energized. "Arrived to inspect no heat during cycle. Within service mode, F16, F48, F128 codes were stored. I tested the unit in manual service test mode and started verification of heater operations. I accessed the control side connector and the heater showed 14.9 ohms, within specifications of the service manual. The heater portion of the service cycle, after clearing all previous codes, did not supply line VAC. I removed and replaced the control and it heated momentarily, but quickly stopped. I found the thermistor within the float switch showed 1.05 Kohm low to 10+ ohms high and was variable. Expected was 11-12 Kohm and it was out of range. The wire harness was intact and the float switch will require replacement as well. No leaks observed during service. .; ordrng 1 WD21X10519 (Float Switch Assy)"

Arrived on site to inspect oven that was not working after previously repaired according to the customer. Upon arrival ran an oven bake cycle and found that because of the issue was the oven sensor thinking unit was harder than it was too quickly during the preheat as well as the main control shutting down the relays at random from the start of the heating cycle too quickly before unit could reach its full temperature. At this time unit will need a new main control as well as oven sensor and will need to be thoroughly tested once repaired or ensure that they can at least make it past the preheat setting to the desired tips it needs. ; ordrng 1 316557115 (Control) and 1 316490000 (Probe)

Arrived on site for refrigerator with misaligned doors. Upon arrival I confirm the issue and found that it fell within the service pointer R8178793-A. I found the gaskets needed to be re-shaped. After reforming the gaskets and insuring that the door was perfectly even a balance with one another I explained a customer how the issue could be resolved if it were to happen again and how they could correct an issue on their own per the service pointer instructions. at this time unit is functioning as designed and had no other failures on site. A wire down site for washer still not functioning after previous repair. Upon arrival confirmed issue but found no errors in diagnostics after further testing found the unit had become unlevel from last repair and unit was still not sensing correct load. After further inspection found that the cam is starting to fail as well as the belt and was putting too much of a heavy load of the circuit causing the actuator not to work right. replaced the cam and belt then reassembled and tested unit and found it fully functioning as designed.
