"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with frost in the freezer section. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=4 degrees. When I went to open the FC drawer fully, it stopped halfway. I found frost built up on the slides and the grease for the bearings had hardened. Also found the light switch frozen stuck. I freed the switch and disassembled the FC section. I removed and replaced the slides and using manufacturer approved grease, I placed a small amount on the rails of the upper rack and on the sides of the lower bin where the upper rack slides and reassembled the FC section. Tested the door functions and the unit is operating as designed. I tested several times no demonstrated for the customer as well. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not draining. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does complete up each cycle, but that his clothes dont seemingly come out fully spun out all the time. Found the unit unlevel and leaning towards the front of the door. Ran it through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working an operating as designed. I did advisor customer. The issue is most likely with the leveling of the washer because the pressure hose that registers water levels on this unit is at the back of the unit. I explained with having the basket leaning forward, it may not be registering water inside of the drum thats there. Adjusted the feet on his washer and ran through some of the settings on his control panel. Found a few of the cycles not on the high speed spin, and did explain that the high speed spin will get more of the water out so he does not have to keep running a drain and spin on this unit. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling correctly after the sealed system was repaired. I inspected the evaporator and found only two loops frosted. I could hear the refrigerant spitting at times and not flowing good. I checked my low side pressure and found it in a 13 psi vacuum. I checked for refrigerant leaks and found none but the unit acted like it wasnt fully charged. The model/serial tag called for 43 grams but I checked the parts breakdown and it showed 56 grams. I called techline and spoke with Joe SR# 7737817711. I added 13 more grams of refrigerant and my low side was at 8 psi vacuum and my high side was at 65 psi. I had good refrigerant flow now and the evaporator completely frosted. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not making ice properly. Upon further inspection, I found the unit with ice kin the bin, but very small cubes. I found the unit in the middle of a cycle and there was a slab on the evaporator. I found the slab of ice very small and not completely full as expected. The unit went into heat mode and the slab slid off the evaporator onto the grid cutter. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and found the evaporator not frosting fast enough. I placed my gauges on the high and low sides of the sealed system and found pressures exactly where they were when I left. I bumped the system to get my pressures to 0/125psi and monitored the production. I found the slab more full than it was when I arrived. I recommended the customer monitor the production and cont@t our office if it doesnt improve at which time, the sealed system will need to be re-done. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I found the ice maker made one batch of ice since being replaced. Using my jumper, I tested the ice maker and it failed to harvest. I found no water in the tray. I tested voltage to the ice maker and its getting proper voltage. Tested the harness and it is good as well. I removed and replaced the ice maker and tested and it is operating as designed. Ice maker motor failed on recently replaced ice maker. Cycled power to,the unit to reset controls. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Per previous techs diagnosis, I installed a new tub. I transferred all original parts from the old tub to the new and tested. I found the unit beginning to leak from the bottom right side of the door. I found a large amount of suds in the tub due to the tub laying on its back with the door closed and rinse aid leaked out from the dispenser. I removed the suds from the unit and Unit is operating as designed with no further leaks. I re-installed the unit and secured it to the cabinets. "Arrived on site or a refrigerator that has a chemical smell. Inspected unit and work area. Did smell what appeared to be a leech kind of smell inside of the freezer section. The customer advised they have not cleaned out the refrigerator since they bought it. I disassembled the freezer section and found no burnt wires or components. Found note residue or items that have burnt off the heater. Check the dispenser motor harness did not find any issues with any of those components or wiring as well. I checked the refrigerator and did not find any failed components. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Leon SR# 7737693859. I told him that the customer is also getting a smell and taste in their water and ice as well. He advised that based on all our checks, there would be nothing in the unit from the unit itself that would be causing any types of smells and advise the customer to use coffee beans or activated charcoal to remove the smell. He advised to make no repairs and that the unit is working as designed. He said if the customer is unhappy with the unit, they may contact customer service. I called whirlpool safety team and spoke to Adam SR# 7737639987. He advised that he documented the file not the issue is most likely with their water supply containing too much chlorine. He stated the ice smell may be recirculating around the refrigerator, which would also be why they can taste it in the water. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for customer with black grease spots showing up on white and lighter clothing. Large oily staining on back drum inside support panel. See pic. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that during one wash load, the unit seem to leak enough water to leave water on the floor about 6 feet long. They advised that they have been using it since and the unit has seemingly stopped leaking. I checked underneath the washer and did not find any signs of water residue except on the back panel. Check behind the washer and found the hot water hose leaking slightly causing a drip every minute to two minutes. I checked the control area and valve housing and found no water residue on top of the housing. Ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle. Found the unit working and operating as designed. When the unit went to drain, I found the standpipe sounding like it was slowly backing up, potentially causing an issue with an overflow on heavy loads. Checked the tub for any signs of cracks or damage. Found no damage done to the tub at all. Tested the unit several more times to try to get the unit to leak and checked underneath the washer again. Did not find any leaks present during operation besides the hot water hose. I showed the customer the leak from the hose and the customer advised that he used the old hoses off the old washer. I explained to him that it appeared that the rubber gasket inside of the hose was worn causing the leak. I also explained to him about his standpipe and showed him what it was doing. The customer is going to buy himself new hoses and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator freezing items in the RC. Customer said that on several occasions they had several items freeze on the RC shelves. I examined the unit and found unit had a lot of items in it, and a lot of items pushed to the back liner. I advised customer on the airflow path and function of the unit and that those channels have to be kept free and open for air to properly circulate. This should resolve freezing issues. Arrived onsite for a DW that is no operating. Upon inspection I found that the water line was not connected to the unit I corrected this and tested the unit and found the unit operating as designed

"Arrived on site for an ice machine. That is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer had a maintenance man who was helping me out with the machine. He advised that on the previous unit they had issues with the unit filling with water and when they replaced it with this new one, they have had the same issue. He did not know if they were related. I turned the unit onto a max ice cycle and found barely any water coming into the unit when trying to fill. Removed the filter and found no change in water pressure. Went to turn off the water supply and found an in-line water filter, in between the copper waterlines underneath the sink. I asked the customer how long ago they had replaced that filter and the maintenance guy advised that he was unsure when that had been replaced last. I did advise that the issue maybe with that filter considering that the old unit had the same problem. He removed the copper waterline off the the machine side of the filter and we added water pressure. Found water dribbling out of the in-line water filter. He removed the filter off of the other side of the copper waterline, we found adequate water pressure indicating the issue was not with unit and with the in-line filter that they already have on the unit. I ran the unit through diagnostics and checked all components of the machine and found the unit operating as designed. Advised the customer to either bypass the in-line filter or to replace it and the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete."

Found that when the door was being opened, that part of the actual door was being pulled open due to a tear on the backside of the door. See photos found that the popping was occurring when the unit was lifted up enough to basically pop back into place. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator not cooling. On arrival customer said they noticed that stuff in the RC seemed to be spoiling quicker than normal. I checked temps and found freezer at 3 degrees and dropping when measured, and everything was appropriately frozen. I examined the RC and found good airflow to RC, but the top shelf right under the vent had items pushed to the back wall for the entire shelf length. This is blocking airflow to all of the lower shelves, and the temp difference was noticeable. Moved items out of the way and told Customer to make sure that all items are away from back wall to create proper cooling and airflow. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has frosting up in the freezer. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised it about a week ago, they came into the freezer section and found what appeared to be snow on all of their items in the freezer. They advised that they did not clean any of it out and the frost has not dissipated. Check the freezer section and found what appeared to be frost. The head turned into ice indicating the issue was no longer present. Check the gasket in the cabinet for any gaps. Found no gaps all the way around the gasket or around the cabinet and liner. I did advise the customer that it appeared that the door may not have been either fully closed or they may have had something caught between the gasket and the cabinet. I showed the customer that the left-hand side of the freezer can pop out if you dont close it or open it correctly. And did advise her to open and close the door from the middle or right hand side of the handle. The unit is working as designed. Advise the customer to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

Arrived on site for unit powering on by itself. On arrival inspected unit. Customer had been experiencing glitching but most recently unit drain pump will continue to run. Found control had failed. Called whirlpool safety for documentation. Safety team gave Authorization W19ETZ0WPL1. Replace main control and tested. Unit is functioning properly. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven/microwave combo unit error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for error codes and found F3E0 & F6E1. I cleared the codes and pulled the unit out to test the control and sensor. I found that the sensor harness (signal harness in breakdown) molex connector right terminal was defective and the sensor harness was good. While I had the unit pulled out, the cooling fan turned on even with the oven not turned on and heating. I researched the signal harness and found it out of stock. I advised the customer that I am ordering the harness and the office would schedule return service once we receive the part. ; ordrng 1 W11256629 (Sensor harness)"

Arrived on site to test unit for customer having to unplugged the unit and plugging it back in when the power goes off for the whole house. "Arrived on site for refrigerator showing po error on ui and making a loud cranking noise in rc. Upon arrival found noise coming from dampener control. Found mullion bar loose on top side and allowing water to get into divider and land on dc volatage connections and mullion heater not working. Found rc right door gasket broken and a lot of moister failing down gasket. Rescheduled customer for 11/27/23 to complete repairs ordering W10830274 rc gasket, WPW10311757 mullion, and need to return with previously ordered parts. ; ordrng 1 W10830274 (Gasket) and 1 WPW10311757 (Mullion)"

On arrival verified complaint of drip in tub. Found water valve is dripping constantly into the tub. Replaced the water valve and found no drip. Ran auto test and all components activated correctly. Job complete no leaks detected during service.

On arrival verified complaint of ice melting in bucket. Visual check of gaskets show gaskets are sealing correctly. Unable to tech proper temp reading as customer had emptied the Fc this morning so no product to test. IR temp reading shows 23 degrees. Ice in bucket is frozen but has a layer of water in bottom of bucket frozen. Ice maker is not cycling during manual test. Unable to check it for leaks but no visual signs of leaking. Evap had visual frost in evap cover vents on fins. Reschedule for 11/17 last call to allow for customer to add product to the FC for a proper product temp test. ; O-emld tckt

"Arrived onsite for dryer not drying. On inspection I noticed that the unit is vibrating more then normal. Customer should of a video that the unit is making a loud noise on a normal cycle. Sounds like the blower is out of round and making a noise and vibrating the unit ordering a blower and motor. Tested the moisture sensor with a wet towel and it did not add time to the dry time, I stop and clean the moisture sensor off and restarted the cycle it started to add time to the dry cycle. Informed the customer that the sensor need to be clean once a month or when the clothes are still damp after a cycle completes. No gas leaks detected during service.; ordrng 1 W11549461 (Motor) and 1 WP697772 (Blower wheel)"

Arrived on site for dishwasher needing previously diagnosed spray arms and dispenser. Tested unit with dispenser installed first and found leak and been minimized significantly but still had some drops of water coming from each corner under door. Installed lower and middle spray arms and instructed customer to run unit a few times to see if leak issue is resolved. Call complete

Arrived onsite and found unit would occasionally reset itself to standby during easy convect preheat. Tested unit. Found unit operating as designed at time of service. No error codes. Advised customer on hard reset to controls with 5 minute power cycle.

Arrived on site to test unit for upper oven smoking. Test unit and found liner cover had grease on it and when customer was heating the oven the grease was creating smoke. Removed liner test unit and no smoke present job complete. Called safety to report findings 7737790847

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burners not working. Upon further inspection, I tested all burners and found the front left burner ignitor arcing intermittently. I retested the front left burner and using my screwdriver, I moved the ignitor and it would arc to ignite the burner. I disassembled the cooktop and inspected the ignitor/harness and did not find any damage to either. Tested the spark module and it is good. I adjusted the ignitor and reassembled the unit and retested and the front left burner continues to fail. The burner will ignite if a lighter flame is out to it while the gas is on, but the ignitor is not arcing properly. I am ordering the front left orifice holder assembly and office to schedule return service due to the availability of the part.
