"Arrived on site to diagnose range throwing several errors. Found F30 error, F3 error, F1. Found codes ties to over temp / temp sensor errors. I checked resistance at the control board. Temp sensor at P6 reading 2170 ohms, which is over 550 degrees with unit cold. I checked the temp sensor and found it at 1100 ohms, which is normal. When I reassembled and checked at the board again, it read properly at 1100 ohms. This indicates a failure/grounding harness. Harness is no longer available from manufacturer at all, so if issue comes back we can no repair it. Call complete."

I disassembled the unit and found the 2 front rollers were bad as was the tension pulley. I removed and replaced the two rollers and pulley and cleaned the axles on the back two rollers. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and it immediately began to make a loud screeching noise. I pulled the unit out and disassembled the unit and found the rollers, tension pulley and belt were bad. Also found the unit needed to cleaned out inside (before photo). I removed and replaced all four rollers and tension pulley and cleaned the axles; and removed and replaced the drive belt and vacuumed/cleaned the unit. Reassembled and retested and the unit is making a light knocking noise. I advised the customer of the noise and recommended using the unit for the week and if it continued to call it in for service at which time the rear roller axles will need to be ordered and replaced. Unit is operating as designed except for the noise. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator still making a noise. I could hear the unit making a tapping noise again after the compressor came on and I could hear the noise in the FC. I removed the door and baskets from the unit with it running and could still hear the noise but when I removed the evaporator cover the noise stopped. I found the capillary tube out so far that it was making contact with the evaporator cover. I pushed and bent the suction and discharge lines towards the back of the liner and reinstalled the cover and the noise didnt return. The customer stated he would text me later and let me know if the noise returns. Upon removing the bins I found the thermistor cover not snapped in place and found the locking tab broken off. Still no power, talked with Susie and we trouble shoot the control and found 2 resistor were bad on the control board. When we were testing the circuit when you pushed the power button the voltage would drop from 118 vac to 6 vac. We isolated the motor and the circuit would stay at 118 vac when the power button was pushed when the motor was out of the circuit. Arrived onsite for a dishwasher not drying correctly. I tested the dishwasher in diagnostics and found no error codes present. The unit completed the cycle and worked as designed but I did find the pump motor cavitating from to many suds because the rinse aid was set just under max. I turned the rinse aid setting down and explained to the customer what to watch for with pump cavitation and suds. The tub is curing because the water droplets at the end of the cycle are far apart from each other. I added some oil to remove the suds and tested the unit again with the dispenser lower. The unit completed the cycle and worked as designed. The customer showed me the right side rack stop was popping out. The stops need to be replaced. Ordering 2EA. "arrived on site for dishwasher making a humming noise during operation. I inspected the unit and work area. I verified the model nu,her and found it falls under service pointer W11540964 for the heater replacement. I out the unit into diagnostics and found fault codes F8e2 inlet valve electrical problem fae2 vent wax motor electrical problem. I ran a diagnostics cycle and found the unit filling. When the wash motor came on I could hear the motor making a loud humming noise. When the cycle got the activating the vent wax motor it shut off. I found the motor out of range. The unit will need a new heating element which is covered under the special project code S17304. It will also need a vent wax motor and sump assembly, ordrng 1 W11416362 (Sump assembly) and 1 W11414073 (Vent wax motor) and 1 W11537778 (Heater)"

"Arrived on site for dishwasher not stopping. I found out from the customer the unit would. It start. I put the unit through a diagnostics cycle and found fault code F4e4 wash motor error. I tested the motor from the control and found 17.2 ohms across all 3 windings. I tested voltage from the control to the motor and found it dropping to 60 vac. I found good voltage to the control. I replaced the control and retested the unit. The unit filled, and the wash motor came on it, drained and the heating element activated. Job complete."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that the drawer does not lock into place. The CX stated that the middle drawer and shelf comes out of place when opening the drawer or putting anything heavy on the shelf. The bottom shelf and the middle shelf are the same part number so I swapped them to see if it would lock into place on the middle section and had the same results with it coming out. I pushed both shelves against the left side of the liner and measured the gap on the right side between the shelf and liner. The middle shelf has a 7/16 gap and the bottom shelf has a 1/4 gap. I called techline and spoke with Sterling SR# 7735034825. Unit is getting sent up for product review. I called the customer and let them know. Call complete.

"Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Upon inspection, I found the chassis was forced into the cutout due to the lower front of the cabinets not being prepped properly. This caused the chassis to be warped and it was evident from the venting at the top of the microwave door having a droop due to pressure applied at the sides, causing the vent to buckle. The lower front border at the bottom front of the unit was incorrectly cut out, causing the vent to press against it. The sides of the cabinet board that was cut incorrectly, show movement back from the pressure of the chassis pressing back and binding. The CX has been having issues with the door and required additional closing attempts the get it to operate and to shut the interior light off, which is an indication of the warped chassis. I advised the CX that the cabinet issue will need to be corrected before and further repair maybe attempted and likely not required."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not washing clothes well. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the issue with the washer is that the washer does not fill high enough and thus does not submerge all of her clothes in the washer. She advised that she does notice that unit will complete each cycle but shes having to wash loads twice sometimes in order to get them actually clean. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored air codes. I ran the unit through an auto test twice and the unit ran as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Scott SR# 7735034302 . He had me run a calibration on the unit and advised there is nothing more we can do on this washer due to all components working as designed. He advised the issue would have to be a use and care issue otherwise. Went over Techlines findings with the customer and the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived to inspect continuing issues with flame height. I inspected the unit again and found that when flow requirement is increased from additional burners, the overall flame height of all burners is reduced. Having replaced the regulator already, the issue could have been from the supply or within the chassis. After further testing, found at some point during installation of the unit, the non-factory but acceptable due to installation, 90? elbow added in between the manifold entry and regulator had two pieces of debris within it. The debris was a wire nut and washer and was likely put in there during installation. I removed the debris and tested and the unit then operated as designed. I tested all gas connections that I interacted with and found no signs of any leaks upon completion of service. Operational test good."

The customer advised that the upper oven seems to work a whole lot better but the lower oven they cant seem to get the temperature right. I asked the customer if theyve never calibrated their unit and they advised that they did not know how. Tested both units at 375?F back cycles and found the lower oven cycling between 340?F and 365?F. Found the upper oven cycling between 360?F and 410?F. Went ahead and adjusted both ovens and adjusted the lower oven up 15? and the upper oven down 5?. Showed the customer how to properly calibrate the unit and the unit is working as designed.
