Unplugged the unit and opened up the freezer evaporator Found a hissing sound coming from the evaporator area. Gained access to the evaporator and found the hissing coming from the cap tube up near the top where it goes into the cabinet. I took a video of the sound and found the leak coming from the cap tube inside of the cabinet. I called whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Rich SR# 7738176486. He had me send him the video of the leak. He advised that based on the information, the unit would be sent to review and to let the customer know that Whirlpool would be in contact with the customer or myself depending on the next steps. "Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not filling up enough. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit will start and complete each and every cycle but that the water level is not high enough to fill up the basket. I did explain to the customer that this is normal operation and that, the water level is based on your settings as well as programming. I did advise her that there is no way to change the amount of water that the unit dispenses. The customer advised that she was very unhappy with us because she doesnt feel like the washer put enough water to get the clothes clean. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran and operated as designed. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that has low ice production. Upon arrival I performed and temp test in the ice box and found it at 2?F temp set to -3?F and the temps in the fr at -3?F. I tested the water dispenser and found the it is operating as designed I ran the ice maker water fill test and it didnt fill with water. I gained access to the icemaker fill tube heater and found that it was not attached to the tube which can cause it to freeze up and block water flow and causing the water valve to fail as well. I suspect the heater was in lockout mode and after running the service test mode and resetting the control, the issue was resolved. I discussed detergent type and amounts with the customer and they were using rinse agent. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not turning on. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and it failed to turn on. I tested voltage at the outlet and got 125V. Tested voltage at the main harness to the power cord and got 125V. Tested voltage at the timer, start switch, door switch and disconnected the motor and checked voltage at the molex and got 125V at all check points. I removed and replaced the timer and start switch and retested and still nothing. I placed my testing leads at the harness connector at the motor and tested and t(e unit came on. I found the molex connector to the motor is bad. I removed and replaced the harness and retested and unit is operating as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the unit was turned off at the UI. Customer provided a photo of the RC evap engulfed in ice. I found the RC thermistor was not reading correctly and once I had the RC evap cover removed I found the thermistor not properly installed. I removed and replaced the thermistor and secured it to the cap tube line with foil tape and a ziptie. I placed the unit ma in diagnostics and checked the defrost time in test 7 and found it set to am96 hour run time before defrost. I changed the time to 8 hours and advised the customer of my findings and repairs. Recommended they monitor the unit and if they continue to have issues, I would recommend replacing the UI as it controls the defrost. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washer that is not draining properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit works fine on almost every cycle besides delicates. On delicates, the unit never spins the clothes out and they come out dripping wet. I checked the delicate cycle and found the soon selection on low spin. The customer advised that you cant do a high speed spin on delicates because youll stretch them out. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran and operated as designed. Customer advised that when she washes two rugs or two hoodies together that they never come out, fully spun out. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Brandon SR# 7738173823. He advised that based on all the information, the issue would have to be with the loading portion of the unit as the customer is only throwing in 1 to 2 items during certain loads. He advised that it will cause off-balance issues which will contribute towards the unit not completely spinning out properly. If I was, there is no Known issues with the programming and that the customer will just need to adjust their spin speed on their delicate cycle as their delicate cycle setting is on low spin. He advised to make no repairs. Call complete."

Arrived onsite and found unit not operating properly due to polarity at the outlet being reversed causing the module to not recognize flame and stop ignition. Advised customer on findings. All checks good.

I found the unit hot/warm from the cycle. Using my vent test kit, I tested the airflow to the unit and found the first two tests failed (photos). I tested a third time with the vent tube removed at the back of the unit and the test passed telling me the unit is operating as designed. Around the unit through diagnostics and found that the shifter would not shift the slider to engage the basket to spin. Checked underneath and found the slider broken causing the issue. Arrived on site for a washer walking. On inspection ran the unit In diagnostic mode and during the spring cycle it started to move when the spin cycle started up. Replaced the suspension and now during spin it does not move around anymore. No water leaks detected during service.

Arrived onsite for washer not filling up with water. On inspection I ran the unit on heavy cycle and during the agitation cycle the unit did not lock the lid due the cycle. Installed a new control board and retested the unit it now locks the lid in agate cycle. Informed the customer that the unit does not fill up like the old washer did. She is loading the washer 90% full to the top. Told customer about 2/3 of the way up on the top is as high as you want to go. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks detected during service.

Arrived onsite for a dryer to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I installed a thermal cutoff kit and tested the dryer. The dryer is working as designed and now has good air flow after the customer had the vent cleaned. Call complete.

On arrival verified complaint of unit not pumping out all the water. Visual inspection of unit showed no issues. Checked error codes found no error codes. Ran diag cycle and machine is working as designed no noises or failures. Advised customer on proper use and care. Job complete no leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that had a basket pull away from the cabinet. Inspected unit and work area. Found one of the suspension rods had broken and fell. The customer advised that randomly the unit will start going off balance, and will start banging really loudly. Looked through ServiceMatters and found a service pointer that deals with this issue (W11684122). Verified the customers, model and serial numbers matched the range within the service pointer and checked the basket. Found the holes on the inside of the basket had not been fully punched through. Per the service pointer we will need to order the new basket for repair. Ordering the basket and will return with a couple extra parts. The office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to an out of stock and PSP item.; ordrng 1 W11172199 (Basket) and 1 W11239857 (Belt) and 1 W10721967 (Splutch)"

Arrived on site for dryer leaking to much water when steam feature was used. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found valve ohming at 1.5k and slightly leaking. Replaced valve and tested steam features. Found no leaks and unit working as designed. Also informed customer on how much laundry to put into unit when using steam refresh cycle. Call complete

Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont lock the lid. Inspected unit and work area. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. The customer advised that her old washing machine locked immediately as soon as the cycle started and they were unsure why the unit wasnt locked from the start. I did confirm that this is normal operation and just the programming of the unit. Tested the unit several times and the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed control. Found parts were not correct. Spoke with service management and corrected issue. Ordering parts and scheduled for 1/15. ; ordrng 1 W10906428 (Control) and 1 W11025157 (Sump assembly) and 1 W11227372 (Harness)

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Upon arrival I installed the new float and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed

"Arrived onsite for a range with a malfunction center burner. Upon arrival I tested the the burner and found that it would not ignite right away, I cleaned and adjusted the burner head and tested and found no change. I am ordering the burner head and returning on 01/11/24; ordrng 1 W11435660 (BURNR-HEAD)"

Arrived on site to replace faulty fan and cavity thermistor. Replace parts and tested. Unit is now functioning properly. Job complete.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is really loud. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the unit making a loud grinding sound when the wash motor was running. Checked the wash motor and found the windings opening up causing the issue. I went ahead and replaced the wash motor and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for not washing and not drying. Test unit and found bad wash motor and element. Replaced sump and Motor and heating element. Test unit and unit test good job complete.

Arrived on site for door not alining properly . Found installation need to be tweaked to match counter top . Only issue found . No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete

Arrived on site to inspect previously ordered part. Upon arrival I installed the ui as it comes with the ui harness. And tested the unit several times and found unit operating as designed. I showed the customer how to connect the unit to the WiFi so that the unit can get its updates and keep the unit operating properly.

"Arrived onsite for unit console not responding and display being dimly lit. Upon arrival customer stated that unit was not responding then lost total power due to storm. Once the storm cleared , unit powered on and has been functioning since. No error codes stored and unit is functioning properly. Called techline for assistance. Spoke to Nate SR#7738168242. Tech notified that since unit is not in a failed state, proper diagnosis can not be completed. If found in a failed state voltages need to be verified from control. Notified tech line that control and UI have been replaced. Customer will monitor. Job complete"
