"Arrived on site to replace UI and control per techline. Found ice was not clumped toghether upon arrival. Replaced parts, and ran service test 14 got a reading of 11 degrees. Ran service test 16 and got a reading of 31 degrees. Called techline with findings. Was advised temps are in range and to monitor. Upon putting unit back together wife asked if dispenser will work now. Never knew dispenser was an issue. Wife states this whole time the dispenser is what is the issue. Customer assumed since ice was at times clumping and potentially causing the dispenser issues, the clumping was reported as the issue. Found removable motor shaft was rounded on the ends causing ice bin auger to round out. Tested unit and found with the slightest bit of resistance the teeth and the motor shaft were skipping. Recommend replacing dispenser motor, motor shaft and ice container. Office to reschedule. ; ordrng 1 AHO (AHO) and 1 W10822606 (motor) and 1 W10911314 (ice-contnr) and 1 W11228132 (shaft)"

"Arrived on site to test unit for reservoir over flowing and no ice production. Unit was working upon arrival. Checked voltage to recirculating pump and voltage was good at 13.8vac. Connected recirculating pump and pump now not engaging. Checked voltage agin and was now receiving .8vac. Verified transformer was receiving proper voltage and sending proper voltage. Replaced control, recirculating pump and drain pump. Verified voltage was correct again, tested unit, unit started to work good then stopped. Voltage was now changing erratically. Continuity through harness is good. Recommend replacing transformer and control. Returning with pumps to ensure completion on return visit. Also requesting 2hrs on return visit. "(CS) Arrived on site for dryer not coming on. Upon arrival we found unit receiving 240v from outlet. Upon further inspection I found the heater ohming at 10 ohms even and not grounded. Both the high limiter and cutoff were functioning, door switch was working. Found the thermal fuse had blown. I was able to replace thermal fuse then use a pressure test kit and found unit had great air flow when vent hose wasnt connected but once hose was reinstalled found pressure were no longer within good ranges indicating a clog within wall of home. At this time unit will also need a dvc in order to complete repairs and insure thermal fuse doesnt break again. Call complete"

Put nitrogen into the system and checked for air leaks at the can presser and condenser. Could not find a leak on either of those. Did find the unit leaking nitrogen still very slowly. Gained access to the fresh food and freezer evaporator?s and used bubbles to try to find the leak. Still could not find the leak. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7730805740.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is leaving soap at the bottom of the dishwasher and has a rack that will move in and out properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that her lower rack we all had popped off and they had popped it back on but it?s not rolling properly and that most of the time the unit does wash dishes but sometimes the soap is left at the bottom of the dishwasher. Confirmed customers complain about the wheel and found it not properly placed. Fix the wheel and tested the wheel rack assembly. Lower rack assembly is good. Ran unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. The customer as devised they don?t always run hot water at the sink prior to use and do use large dishes in the dishwasher on the lower rack. Went over user care guide and the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s not spinning out clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is spinning out clothes but that the agitator doesn?t seem to be moving the clothes around very much wen in agitation. She showed me a video of what she was talking about and also complained of a slight knocking sound on the unit was agitating back-and-forth. Placed a unit in service diagnostics and found an F7 E9 (locked rotor) error code. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Ran the unit through manual spin and agitation cycles in the unit ran as designed. I did advise the customer that the knocking sound will come when she?s using heavier loads due to the weight that?s put on the agitator when it?s trying to shift directions. I also did advise the customer that the unit has several agitation speeds and that the one she was showing me was a light agitation. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for dryer collecting lint on back of screen in lint chute. Upon arrival I ran a heat test with vent off and found pressures and temps within specs on pressure test kit and unit had a 140 degrees average temp. Upon further testing with the vent hose reattached, I then found pressures in dryer were to high causing over heating in dryer as well as extremely poor airflow. Informed customer at this time units collecting more lint in areas in shouldnt due to the restriction within vent of home itself. Instructed customer that they would need a dvc (dryer vent cleaning) done in order to insure proper airflow and escape for the lint. I then called whirlpool techline and spoke with (Chris Sr#7731028100) who instructed me that at this time unit is functioning but dvc would need to be done ASAP in order to ensure proper ventilation. Call complete"

I also found wash motor had become weak not allowing water to flow properly to upper rack spray arms. After getting autho I replaced the wash motor and heating element. I tested the components and they are all operating as designed. I tested the microwave with a cup of water and it heated properly. When I went to test again, the console would not respond. "Arrived on site to follow up on noisy dryer. Disassembled unit and used sound deadening pads to insulate all contact points between inner components and the cabinet / floor plate. Used seal kit to insulate blower housing. Checked all rollers and pins and found nothing else loose. Unit is as quiet as we can get it. Ran unit and you can still hear a small amount of rumble from the drum / cabinet when empty. There does not appear to be any other repairs to perform to reduce any other noise. Unit just has slight cabinet rattle, but is fully insulated.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not draining. Upon further inspection, customer advised that they did a normal wash and the unit failed to drain and then they did a 1 hour wash and the unit drained. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Continued with testing and the unit operated as designed. I removed the drain pump and vacuumed the drain area and found food debris blocking the drain. When I went to empty my vacuum, I found a piece of paper/cardboard approximately 4-6 inches long in the water from the dishwasher. I advised the customer of my findings and recommended that they clean their dishes before putting them in the unit to wash. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that wants it. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in service diagnostics and found an F8 E5 (how and cold reversed) and F7 E5 (shifter fault) error code. Ran the unit through an agitation and spin test. The unit would attempt to agitate or spin but would stop and then shift back to the opposite and try again and stop. This would indicate the unit was unsure of which was spin or agitation. Spoke to SW and was advised the issue would most likely be with the actuator but could be the harness. Checked the harness for damage and could not find any. Ordering actuator and office will need to contact customer about the return date due to an out of stock part. ; ordrng 1 W10913953 (actuator)

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that is not starting at times and not finishing cycles / not heating. On arrival ran error codes and found F7E1 no heat, F8E2 slow drain. I ran unit and could hear whistling inlet valve, but unit is filling properly. When unit went to spray, it sprayed for a few seconds and then you could hear the diverter just spinning and spinning, never locking in. This is stopping cycles from progressing. Advised customer first thing we need to repair is a new sump and motor to get the unit to progress cycles, and still may need other repairs. "Arrived on site for washer intermittently making noise. Customer had recording on phone and was not able to distinguished noise from recording. Customer stated that the normal click noise would occur a couple of times before sound would occur and same failure was happening before gearcase was installed. Performed diagnostics mode and checked error codes, none stored. Ran manual test mode and continued to switch from fast spin to heavy agitation. Was not able to recreate failure. Address service pointer W11520474 and replaced control. Gained access to gearcase and inspected. Found signs of abnormal wear and tear on cam. Removed cam and belt, installed new. Performed calibration cycle and automatic test mode. Monitored operation in test mode and observed for possible water leaks. All tested good, no water leaks detected. Spoke with customer on service performed."

"Arrived on site to inspect range cooktop burners not working. Upon further inspection, I found the gas supply turned off to the unit. I checked the shutoff valve and it was turned on. Checked the burner ignitors and found the back left ignitor arcing to the side and not straight up like the other burners. Contacted the Realtor and advised of the gas not being turned on and they mentioned it was on recently when the home was cleaned. I advised of my findings and they advised that it was the back left burner that wasnt working. I removed and replaced the burner head and tested the ignitor and it is operating as designed.
