"KRFF507HPS03 GP arrived on site to inspect refrigerator door ice maker not making ice. Temperatures read FC=-2 RC=31. Too cold in the RC. Placed the unit into diagnostics and ran service test 3(evaporator fan and air baffle motor test). Found the fan blowing but the air baffle not operating normally until the circuit breaker was flipped. Checked the ice bucket and found small oddly shaped ice cubes. Dismantled the ice machine and found the ice tray only partially filled, a small amount of ice in the fill tube indicating a slow water flow and the heating element loosely fitted to the fill tube. Tested the fill level by filling a cup with the ice maker water line and pouring it into the ice maker and it produced the appropriate amount of water. Inspected the connectors and found pin 1 in connector P3 in the cabinet side of the plug was severely damaged causing the entire P3 connector to be not properly seated causing intermittent connections with the other pins. Likely affecting the fill tube heater. Attempted to repair it and it seems to be operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not cleaning dishes. On inspection there was no water movement in diagnostics mode. Installed new pump and that fix the water issue. On further inspection found the was no amps to the heating element. Replaced it. The unit had error F4E3 and F7E1 in memory. Unit operating as designed and no water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher with door not closing properly. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the door gasket doesnt appear to be sealing properly against the door. I inspected the door gasket and found calcium deposit build up and water along the gasket (photo). I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit is opening as designed, but there is a little more water on the gasket and it appears worn and there is no leaks found. As a precaution, I removed and replaced the door gasket and retested the unit and it continues to operate as designed and there is no water on the gasket. Check underneath the washer and found the cam bolt barely sitting on the lower end of the driveshaft, causing the cam to slip down and to grind against the cover shield. Arrived onsite for range tripping breaker. On inspection the range would trip the breaker when you plugged the unit in. Gain access to the back of the unit and found that the connection to the DSI board was 1 pin off. I unplugged the DSI board and plugged the unit in and the breaker did not trip. I then plugged the connector in right and the unit still did not trip the breaker. I turn the unit on and heated the oven to 350?. The unit is operating as designed and no gas leaks detected during service.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is making a loud noise. Upon inspection I found that the noise was coming from the condenser fan blades making contact with the fan Bracket. I adjusted the breaker so that the fan blades are no longer making constant and the noise is now gone.

Arrived onsite for a MW that has no power upon installation I found that the 20amp fuse had fail. I replace the it and tested the unit and found that power returned but when testing the unit I found that the turn table would not turn and the control had burn marks at the 4902 relay which is the relay for the turn table. I replace the control and found that the same reason popped on the new control I am ordering an new control and the turn. Arrived on site and inspected vent hood and found blower motor will not turn on. Replaced user interface buttons and this had no positive effect. Attempted to inspect upper assembly and found chimney is riveted in place Builder/installer did not use the screws like they are supposed to. Also top rivets are approximately 10 feet off the ground And not reachable. Vent hood is inaccessible and no further diagnosis can be done. Homeowner contacted builder but they did not answer the phone. Job complete

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop gas leak. Upon further inspection, I found the gas source turned off and turned it on. I removed the drawers below the unit to expose the gas line and regulator and immediately smelled the gas odor. I tested the unit and all burners are operating as designed. I removed the knobs and listened/smelled for gas leaks and found none. Using my liquid gas leak detector, I tested the gas line and found the gas line connector at the coupling to the regulator was not tightened (photo) and found bubbles coming out on the right side of the connection. I tightened the line and retested with my leak detector and found no further leaks. I advised the builder of my findings. I contacted Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Lashonda and advised of my findings. She advised notes have been documented to SR#7736909080. No gas leaks detected at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator leaking. The customer showed me where water was leaking at the rear of the RC evaporator cover and running down the liner. I found a piece of brown masking tape had fell in the drain trough causing water to dam up and freeze then divert the water to the rear of the cover and leak. I removed the tape and cleared the ice. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not drying dishes. Upon further inspection, I found the cuetomer is not using rinse aid (photo). I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit operated as designed. While testing, I checked amp draw to the components of the unit and found the element is providing 7-9amps during wash and drying cycles during diagnostics (photo). Once testing was complete, I demonstrated to my customer that the element is heating by pouring some water onto the element and it sizzled and produced steam. I contacted techline and spoke to Jonathan and advised of the complaint and my findings. Jonathan recommended advising the customer of rinse aid and use and care and provided SR#7736945709. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use to my customer. Unit is operating as designed. No repairs needed at this time and no water leaks observed during service. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not washing dishes. Inspected unit and work area. Ran unit through diagnostics and found that the water would fill inside the unit, but would not actually recirculate. Went to remove the wash motor and found that evidence of water leaking from the heater. Got authorization for both the washer motor and heater replacement. Replaced both parts and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present during operation. Call completed."

Arrived on site to test unit for buttons not working on console. Found the 4 and 7 were not responding properly. Ran diagnostics with no issues. No stored error codes. "KDFM404KPS0 GP arrived on site to inspect dishwasher stuck in cycle of turning on and off. Inspected the unit and found the following error codes F8E4 (float switch open/overfill) F10E2 (vent wax motor) F8E2 (fill valve electrical problem). Found the drip pan not mounted and found water inside of the overflow, drain loop placed just at the bottom of the sink. Based on the color of the water its possible that the sink has been back flowing into the dishwasher. No mounting screws were found upon arrival. Unit was also not properly leveled. Corrected these issues and tested the unit and its is operating as designed with no water leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not making ice/not cooling properly. Upon arrival confirmed complaint and found temps in fc at 39 degrees. Found amp draw to compressor at 0.5 amps as well as no heat transference from condenser coil or drier but compressor was over heated. Inspected evap coil and found very little moister/ice build up on 10% of the coil while te rest of dryer and warm. Informed customer of sealed system failure and will need office to reschedule once availability of parts is known. "Arrived onsite for inspection with clear door to identify source of leak. Ran diagnostics and found stored error code 6/1, 8/1, 3/4(not listed). Ran test and lower spray arm is free spinning but upper spray arm has low flow and not turning properly. Looks to be either a broken upper spray arm or a weak motor. Returning with spray arms. Arrived onsite for a DW that will not wash dishes on the top rack upstairs in I found F6e1 (low or not water in unit)code stored upstairs inspection I found that the water flow was very weak. I adjusted the water flow by turning up the water at the water inlet valve under the sink and tested the unit and found the unit operating as directed no leaks
