Arrived onsite for the top freezer door possibly not closed correctly as some frost buildup at the top has occurred. Said that the customer had moved the hinges on purpose for the door to swing the other way. Looked at the door and went ahead and moved the hinge back a bit up top to get the door a little more leveled. The door closed with no issues and sealing perfectly. Did let someone know that the door May a bit of play when moving the door a bit as it is normal and nothing to be alarmed about. No issues at this time. Job complete

"Arrived onsite for unit not heating. Tested the unit and it would not heat. Checked all fuses and the element and all checked good. Upon further investigation. Found that the wires at the back of the unit on the terminal block were incorrect, correctly re wired the terminal block, checked the voltage and saw it was only getting 120v. Let landlord know to get the voltage corrected will need an electrician to fix the power. No other issues at this time. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher with an unresponsive UI. Upon arrival the customer stated that the UI would not turn on or light up at all. They tried cycling the power to it but it never worked. I tested the unit and found it responsive. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F2E1 for stuck key. I then ran a test cycle and found it ran through as designed. I informed the customer on my findings and that we could replace the UI for prevention, but at the time of service it was running as designed. The customer declined any repair.

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher leaking. Upon arrival the customer pointed out several spots of floor damage from the leaks. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F10E3 for drying fan error, F9E1 for diverter cant find position, F9E2 for diverter stuck on, and F6E1 for low or no water. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and found the vent fan not turning on. I could not replicate a leak, but I found the water never transitioned through the different wash arms. Upon further inspection I found signs of water under the diverter. I ran the unit again and tested voltage at the vent. I found it good, but the vent was still not functioning. This indicates a faulty vent and sump/motor. I advised them to not run the unit until repaired. I am ordering the vent and will return with the sump to install. ; ordrng 1 WPW10469574 (Vent)"

Using my borescope, I checked the vents and found that they do need to be cleaned (photo). I advised the customer of my findings and recommended they have their vents cleaned. "Arrived on site to inspect upright freezer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise which sounded like metal on metal vibration. Upon arrival, the unit was quiet. I tested temps and they were at 8 degrees. The compressor came on and the vibration noise started, just not as loud as what was sounding in the video. I pulled the unit out and adjusted the refrigerant lines at the back near the compressor and placed the unit back in its spot. Leveled the unit and monitored for approximately 20 mins. Customer was happy with the normal noise. No water connections to unit/dry, job completed."

I pressed the start button for 3 seconds to turn the drain pump on and the unit drained as designed. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E2 and cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed. I tested two more times and it continued to operate as designed. I removed the drain pump and inspected/tested it and its good. I found the drain hose has a high loop under the sink and the hose is clear of debris.. Customer advised they have a water softener system. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F3E1, F9E1, F8E1. Cleared the codes and the drain pump stopped. Once I began testing, the drain pump came back on and would not turn off. I cancelled testing and unplugged the unit then blew through the sensor tube and it appeared to be clear. Attempted testing again and it failed and the drain pump would not turn off. I removed the back cover and inspected the air trap and found it completely blocked/clogged with debris. Cleaned the air trap and the opening in the tub and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for freezer LED not functioning as designed. Upon arrival confirm complaint and after further testing found that the upper LEDs in a circuit or a functioning within manufacture specs and the fault of the lights not working correctly was due to the freezer LED failing under SP W11460554B - Special Project S191AQ. At time of diagnosis I was unable to safely remove the freezer LED without causing irreversible damage to the liner/insolation due to the insulation foam completely in casing the entire led in place. Called whirlpool techline and spoke with Bruce and Andy Sr#7733210610. After following all tricks to try and remove the light safely found that unit could not be safely removed and replaced with a new LED module and techline deem unit non-repairable due to the circumstances regarding the insulation and I was instructed to update the customer and have them contact whirlpool as soon as possible in order to figure out how to resolve the issue. Call complete

Arrived on site for refrigerator needing to see diagnose main control defrost heater and defrost thermostat. iPhone arrival install required parts and then reassembled and tested the unit and found unit fully functioning as designed and I instructed the customer to give the unit 24 hours to stabilize temps. Customer also stated on second visit that they were noticing issues with the way the ice dispenser was dispensing crushed and cubed ice upon further inspection I found that the dispenser flap inside of the ice bucket was broken causing unit not to crush ice when needed I did in store customer did this time we would need a new dispatch sent over from American home shield before any parts could be authorized in ordered. If authorization from American home shield is acquired the following part will need to be ordered to repair the ice bucket assembly WR17X23255. After using the vent test kit I found that airflow through the house was OK and then disassembled the unit for further inspection. I then found that the thermal fuse that goes to the probe sensors inside the drum were shorted out causing unit not to sense correct temperatures and moisture inside of dryer. Arrived on site for washer not rinsing correctly. Upon arrival customer stated that the fabric softener was being left in the machine and spread around and not being properly dissolved. Upon further inspection found no errors in diagnostics and found no failures with the agitation or spin cycles and also found no issues with the inlet valves a drain. after further investigation I found the cause was due to the owners manual the customer was given not being properly updated with the using care guide information required for the machine when using the rinse cycle and fabric softener. I took a photo in SD of the instructions for using the fabric softener settings and instructed customer on best use and conformance of methods to get the most out of the fabric softener itself and how to resolve the issue also referred customer to use the model number from the machine to download the newest updated use and care guide from whirlpools website. "Arrived on site for complaints of error code. Found F9E1 long drain and F0E2 over suds error codes. Found unit stacked with dryer. Ran factory diagnostics quick test 12 and unit passed all component tests. Unit is draining strong. Verified the drain hose is at the proper height. Ran a normal cycle and monitored, and after 10 minutes the cycle stopped and gave an SD suds code. After 3-5 minutes the cycle continued, with the SD still displayed. Inspected pressure hose and found it partially restricted. Cleaned it out and cleaned out the trap as best I could. Trap on this model molded onto the tub. Ran normal quick cycle again and it completed with no issues. Unit functioning as designed. Advised maintenance to run at least 2 clean cycles with washer cleaner.
