Detergent dispenser unit is back flowing water to the automatic detergent and making too much soap suds in wash cycle causing unit to stay locked and staying in flood mode. Despite any attempts to remove the error message, the unit would not change the error message. Upon unplugging the unit, found the main control clicking on a relay seven times before powering off. Replaced the main control and tested the unit. The unit ran through an auto test and manual testing as designed. Arrived on site for a washing machine thats making a screeching sound during operation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit will complete a cycle but that it seems to be really loud when it starts ramping up into the spin. Tested the unit and confirmed the customers complaint. Checked underneath the unit and found the cam stripped. Replaced the cam and removed the motor to widen the gap for the belt to make sure the belt had a nice firm grip on both motor and cam. Reassembled the unit and ran the unit for an auto test. The unit began to run and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that was clicking and did not finish the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they believed the same issue was happening again with this washer where it would clear cannot drain. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Tested the unit in manual high speed agitation and spin. I could not find any fault going back-and-forth between the two. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. I asked the customer if this had only happened on one load or if it had been happening consistently. They advised that the unit had been working for a full month without any issues and it happened on one load. Thus, they did not try to use it again and called back in. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian SR# 7733203071. He advised that based on my findings, there was nothing we can do at this point on the machine due to inability to replicate the issue. He said that if it only happened on one load, it might have been an issue with the load. He advised to make no repairs at this time. Advise the customer to try different size loads and to see if theres an issue consistently with this unit not being able to finish the cycle. I did advise the customer that if the basket is overloaded or the unit goes off-balance, they may find issues with the unit completing cycles. I did advise them to try to capture it on video and contact us back if further issues persist. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for unit having black or brown water sitting at the bottom of the unit. Looked at the bottom and saw some brownish looking water sitting at the bottom. Found that the garbage disposal was the issue as the water would back up and causing some of the water to run back into the unit. Turned on the garbage disposal to get rid of what ever was clogging the garbage disposal. Ran the unit and unit drained with no issues or water backing up back into the unit. I informed the customer on my findings and that we could replace the UI for prevention, but at the time of service it was running as designed. The customer declined any repair.

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher leaking. Upon arrival the customer pointed out several spots of floor damage from the leaks. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F10E3 for drying fan error, F9E1 for diverter cant find position, F9E2 for diverter stuck on, and F6E1 for low or no water. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and found the vent fan not turning on. I could not replicate a leak, but I found the water never transitioned through the different wash arms. Upon further inspection I found signs of water under the diverter. I ran the unit again and tested voltage at the vent. I found it good, but the vent was still not functioning. Arrived onsite for washer not going into spin and makes a screeching noise. Upon inspection I found that the splutch teeth had worn own and the belt was glazed. I replaced the sand tested unit and found unit operating as designed.job complete no leaks

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not heating. Upon arrival I ran unit in diagnostics and found that the heater would not turn on. Upon further inspection I found that the heater element was showing open when tested at p4 4-3 connector at control. I installed new element and tested unit and found unit operating as designed. Job complete. No leaks.

"Arrived onsite for dryer not drying cloths. Upon inspection I found unit heating, upon further inspection I found that the unit had no air flow with the exhaust tube connected and good flow with it disconnected. I advised customer to have a vent cleaning company come out to check his vent on the house for any clogs and cleaned. Job complete"

Arrived on site to test unit for dispenser not opening. Found error 10-1 dispenser issue. Replaced dispenser test unit and unit test good job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for unit not cleaning dishes correctly. Test unit and found unit not getting hot water. Turned the water on at the sink and water hot at the sink but dishwasher not hot at all after filling 6 times. Water never got warm at all water temp at 78?. Also found feed tube broken on the top. Ordering new feed tube office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 WPW10340745 (Feed tube)

Arrived on site to test unit for unit not staying on temp. Replaced igniter and sensor and module. Test unit and unit pre heated to 350 and holding. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not draining. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and found the drain pump humming, but not draining the water from the tub. Using my shop vac, I removed the water from the unit and removed and replaced the drain pump and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
