Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. Upon inspection I found temps in fc at 35* and in the fc 4* Upon further inspection I found that there was some condensation in the rc caused by and torn door gasket. I the checked the rc evap and found ice buildup I replaced the ice and checked heating element and found it good fan was running. I checked the defrost mode to an 8hr defrost. And I ordered the right side door gasket. ; ordrng 1 W10407212 (Gasket)

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not filling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit just makes the growling sound and does not actually wash her dishes. Confirmed the customers complaint but did not find the unit trying to even attempt to fill. The unit would just stall out and make this grinding noise for 30 seconds before flashing on the control. The unit would start the cycle and Wood keep the unit in a paused state. Ran the unit through diagnostics and went through the auto test. Found the unit showing a 7C (motor vane check) error code. Attempted to run checks on the motor van and could not fin he connectors for the vane. Spoke to CVS and was advised to order the main control, wash motor, and sensor vane. Continued with testing and placed my multimeter on the black wire at the terminal block and tested amp draw to the components. The unit operated as designed and the element displayed 7-9amps during wash and drying cycles as designed. I poured water on the element and displayed to the customer how the element is heating. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. Customer has a water softener system. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon removing the old drain pump I found several large shards of tile like pieces in the hose and pump. I removed the pieces from the hose and replaced the pump. I then replaced the pressure hose and tested the unit. I filled the tub and drained it. Arrived on site for wall oven not heating. I found the unit completely responsive but with no heat. I turned off the power at the breaker and then gained access to the heating components. I ohmd out all elements and found them good. I ohmd out the thermostat and found it bad. I replaced the thermostat and then tested the unit. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and found the element illuminating at the back left vent inside. I found the vent tube at the back of the unit was badly crimped and not allowing for good airflow to the vent inside the wall going to the roof. Using my borescope, I checked the vent inside the walls and found a large amount of lint built up inside. Using my vent test kit, I tested the airflow in the unit and the first test I performed with the vent tube off and the unit passed. I tested two mores times with the vent tube attached and the unit failed both times. I recommended that the customer have the vents checked/cleaned before using the unit again to avoid any damage to the unit. No lint observed during service within the unit, job completed."

Watched compressor cycle and when attempting to turn on again voltage to unit drops and lights flicker. Outlet unit is connected to is tied in with multiple wall outlets and garage door openers. Breaker for electrical circuit is 10amp gfci. When unit is supplied with proper voltage it runs as designed. Advised customer needs to correct issue by providing dedicated breaker and outlet for unit only as previously recommended by whirlpool tech line. No water connection to unit. Job complete."

"Arrived on site for Fridge making a buzzing noise every two minuets. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the compressor trying to kick on and then shut off. I found good voltage at the wall. I tested voltage to the start device and found 120vac when called for cooling. I swapped in a test start device, and found the same thing happening. The unit will need a compressor, uv dryer and a access stub. I spoke with PR, he is ordering parts. I spoke to the customer about lead time and it could take up to 2 months to come in. I found the vibration coming from the cardboard base under the condenser. The cardboard was beginning to bow and vibrate against the condenser when the compressor was running. I did my best to reshape the cardboard and the noise greatly reduced. I informed the customer that the cardboard cannot be removed, and it is possible the noise may come back. Unfortunately it is how the unit is designed and the more moisture that is present, the more the cardboard may bow. No fee due to being a for the same issue. Call complete."

Did not see any evidence of any kind of defrost issue on the evaporator even though the unit has been running for a little over a week. Tested resistance on the heater and found it within range. Checked the defrost by metal and found it closed. Spoke to PR and was advised to check resistance and continuity from the board. Found the wire harness shared continuity. Was advised that this issue couldve been caused by a door being left open in the freezer due to this being the first time this is happened. Customer will call back if further issues persist. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that its intermittently not filling with water. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that he can run his unit a couple times in the first time it wont fill of water but on subsequent cycles, the unit will fill up more water. Had the customer show me the time of loads that he was running and noticed he was using the extra power button which was most likely causing his issue. Pulled up the service pointer on the extra power button and explain to use to the customer. Ran a load of clothes in a normal cycle without the extra power button and found the unit filling as designed. Went over the user care guide and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is leaking and overflowing. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that she did not know if the unit was actually leaking from underneath the unit or not but that the unit did overflow when she went to use it. Checked the pressure switch and found a good connection. Checked the pressure hose and found a tear in the pressure hose on the back of the tub. Replaced the pressure hose and tested the unit. The unit began to fill and operate as designed and cut off the water and continued into the agitation cycle prior to overflowing. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance on certain cycles and is making a squeaking sound. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complain about the squeaking sound but found it only squeaking whenever you push the basket from side to side. I did check the hub and did confirm that theres no issue with the hub. Check the suspension and found the suspension was good. Checked underneath the unit and could not find any signs of rubbing or oil marks anywhere. Tested the unit and manual agitation and spin and the unit ran as designed. I did find that the washer was sitting on level and was leaned all the way to the right where the tub was pushed up against the side of the cabinet. Did explain to the customer that can cause off-balance loads. The customer stated that the unit only seems to go off balance during towel loads and that even when she tries to adjust the clothes inside of her washer, the unit will still go off balance. Ran the unit with a a load of towels and ran the unit through a drain and spin after soaking the towels. The unit ran as designed. Spoke to JC and was advised to check the rod cups up at the top of the washer to ensure that nothing was cracked or broken. Did confirm that all of them were intact. Whenever user care guide and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

The customer advised that the unit was making a rattling sound when they initially called in but since theyve moved the refrigerator, the noise has been removed and they have not had the same issue. He didnt want me to check the unit just to make sure there wasnt anything wrong. Check the unit and could not replicate the issue. I ran through all kinds of testing with the unit and advise the customer that he mightve had an issue with the flooring causing uneven leveling and causing something to rub up against the cabinet. Could not see anything necessarily that would be needed to be moved so advise the customer to call back if they had further issues. Call complete."
