Arrived on site for dishwasher not turning on. Upon arrival confirm complaint and after further inspection found a stable 120 V connection going to timer I did however find that card of the issue was one of the door switches and the door had failed my long door to register it was shut. After replacing door switch I reassembled a tested unit and found dishwasher functioning as it designed. I also had to add a new claim to the drain line because the previous installers that out of the zip tied to the drain line not allow proper securing of the drain hose. Also found that the garbage disposal itself is not leaking but there is a leak coming from the PVC piping underneath where the drain line is connected to from the dishwasher and AHS will need to send a plumber out in order to make the repairs to the PVC to prevent further issues and leaking. Call complete

"Arrived on site to inspect double wall oven not heating properly. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that neither oven is reaching preheat temp and they received an error code. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found F6E1 and F9E0. Cleared the codes and tested the upper oven on bake at 350 degrees. Before starting, I found splash protectors in the bottoms of both ovens. I explained to the customer that these mats are not good for the unit unless theyre cut back to allow air flow inside the unit. Once removed, I continued with testing the upper oven. Also found the top oven door gasket badly smashed at the bottom and will need to be replaced. Once the unit reached preheat, I found my temps were at 266 degrees. I turned the unit off and pulled the unit out onto my oven dolly and tested the elements and sensors. I found both sensors within range and all four elements were good.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling again. Inspected unit and work area. Found the unit running and checked the evaporator. Found no frost pattern on the evaporator whatsoever. Took pressures and found the unit sitting at 120 psi on the high side and -23 psi on the low side but was fluctuating in readings. Checked for a dye marks on all sealed system components and could not find any dye anywhere. Went to remove my gauges and found evidence of a burn out on the high side line as the refrigerant was black. Removed refrigerant and attempted to remove all burnout oil from the sealed system. Could not remove all the dye. Due to burn out of original compressor there is burned oil in the sealed system that has clogged the capillary tube which is not allowing refrigerant to flow through system. Also found Yoder loop and condenser is rusting contributing towards this issue. No reliable repair can be made to unit. The office will need to contact American home shield to explain findings. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose microwave that customer said popped and left a very strong smoke smell in the house. Inspected microwave. Checked HV system, fuse, wiring, bulbs, control boards. I could not verify any damage to the microwave components,a lso could not see any scorch marks or smoke. No unusual odors present. No repair to make. Tested unit ans verified its heating with no unusual behaviors. Customer says unit popped and they do not feel safe using it. Call complete."

Inspected unit and tested with my vent tester kit and it showed that unit has poor air flow, also as I was moving unit around to access back of unit to check connections saw that the wall connector was lose not making a good contact to make 240V for element to work properly Tested unit temperatures and unit was short cycling because of poor air flow, advised CX to clean vents and also have an electrician to check wall connector. With a K-type thermocouple, placed centered within the oven chamber, I started the unit with a temperature of 78 degrees and after 8 minutes the unit claimed 350 preheat with an internal temperature of 386 (expected for exposed element chassis.) The cycling temperatures were 312, 370, 321, 372, 323, 378, 325, 373. The cycling temperatures averaged at 347 degrees for an set temperature of 350 and no changes are required. Operational test good."

"Arrived to inspect constant hot surface indicator. Upon my arrival, the issue had apparently corrected. I tested and found the front right burner would illuminate the light almost immediately. "Arrived on site for a wash machine that made a sound during the wash cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer attempted to show me a video of the sound that it made during the cycle. Unfortunately, there was no audio to the video. The customer then advised me that the next load did not do the same thing. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error messages. Ran through all kinds of diagnostic testing and could not get the unit to fault. I had the customer bring out one of the loads that she typically washes and found that the customer does mix loads. Whenever user guide and the unit is working as designed. Call Complete."
