Arrived onsite for oven not working in self cleaning mode. I pulled the unit out and could not get behind it because the island was to close for me to get enough the oven out far enough for me to get behind it. I had the customer show me what she was doing to clean the oven. The oven only reaches 250? during the aqua self cleaning mode. It was not getting hot enough to remove the debris off the bottom of the oven. Told customer to put it in bake at 450? for 15 minutes to help get the burnt stuff off the bottom of the oven.

"Arrived onsite for washer making a screeching noise. During spin cycle the unit was a loud screeching noise. Installed Gearcase,capacitor and belt. I ran the unit in diagnostics mode and the noise was gone. I put the unit in spin cycle for 10 minutes to make sure the noise was gone. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks detected during service."

I noticed that the customer did use rinse aid and was using a highly concentrated liquid detergent. I advise the customer on detergent and rinse aid use. Job complete"

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven temps. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that when they preheat the oven and it indicates it ready/preheat, the temperature inside the unit is too cold. I placed the unit in diagnostics and found no error codes. Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. My preheat temp was 425 degrees. My next five readings were 323, 396, 331, 385, 334 for an average temp of 353.8 degrees. I advised the customer of my findings and made recommendations for use and care. I advised the customer that when starting a Bale cycle, they will need to press the Start button twice in order for the unit to heat in a Standard setting and not Rapid preheat. No repairs needed at this time, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit does make a little bit of ice but that the unit seems to be leaking water on top of the ice that they already make. Looked at the icemaker and found the tray bowed and leaning inward towards the middle. Found frost buildup inside of the icemaker section causing the icemaker to catch and leak water out the side. Advised customer that they would need to replace the icemaker for repair. Cleaned out the ice debris and replaced the icemaker. The unit began to work and operate as designed.

Notice the led is not blinking Indicating control failure. Checked resistance of drain pump at J6 pin 3&6 . Resistance should be 17.8-21.8 and is only 1.6. The drain pump has taken out the control. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator icing up in the freezer section. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unplugged. Plugged unit in and disassembled the freezer section to monitor the evaporator. I found only the top two coils of the evap had frost pattern and the cap tube was beginning to accumulate a large amount of frost. I tested the element and it was within ohms range as was the thermistor. I pulled the unit out and checked the compressor and found it at .43amps. I advised the customer that the unit needs a sealed system repair and I verified the unit sealed system still within warranty through our claims department. I recommended the customer contact lg to schedule the repair as t(e unit will need the compressor, dye drier, access valve and main control and possibly the evaporator. Unit left unplugged for safety and no water leaks observed during service. Job completed."

Following the tech sheet provided by the manufacturer, I removed and replaced the main control and placed the old broil element in the unit as it is testing good and retested the unit. I was able to enter service test mode via the right UI controller and found F3E1, F6E9, F6E4, F1E0 stored in memory and I cleared for testing and repair. I removed and replaced the left UI and expansion board and tested. All functions returned to the left side, but the right UI would not accept commands. I was unable to clear any further codes in either UI and ruled that out. Office to order the UI and we will have both LH and RH in hand, incase of need.
