Followed tech sheet process, measured resistance on bake, broil and convection. Found all within range. Measured resistance on temperature sensor and found correct. Powered unit back on and cleared error code. Performed temperature test on bake mode at 350?. While informing customer on temperature test customer stated that issue was when baking that the convection element was glow red. Found average temperature at 338?. Called Whirlpool tech support and spoke with Rich. Went over service performed, he stated that relay is possibly sticking intermittently. Will need to replace control to correct. Removed failed control and installed new. Calibrated unit +10?. Tested bake operation and found unit working as designed. (Sr# 7733140496)."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator freezing stuff in the refrigerator compartment. Upon arrival the customer stated that items will freeze around the ice maker and crisper drawers, but within the last week or two it has stopped. I checked temps and found the FC at 2?F, the RC by the crispers at 25?F, and the upper RC area at 33?F. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all airflow components running as designed. I gained access to the evap and found no ice build up nor any sign of a defrost issue. I gained access to the control and ohmd out all thermistors. The RC thermistor read 7.23k and the FC thermistor read 16.25k. These are accurate at the time of reading. I checked voltage going to the components from the control and found them good. At the time of service I found no faulty component. I informed the customer of my findings. I also let them know that due to the dampers and incoming cold air from the FC that sometimes items in the RC can get icy, and if they wanted to reduce this they can increase the temps on the UI. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a gas dryer with a gas smell when sitting. Upon arrival the customer had the gas shut off. I turned the gas back on and used the gas detector wand to search for a sign of a gas leak. I used the wand on the line and did not detect anything. I then gained access to the inside and used the wand on the regulator and solenoids. I could not detect any leak. I then ran the unit for several minutes and let is sit for a while. I checked all components again and could not detect a leak. During service I smelled no gas either. At the time of service the unit was running as designed. Call complete.

Upon testing found unit still couldnt dispense ice. Entire auger hosing overpacked with a block of ice created from all previous unresolved ice marker leaking issues. Couldnt safely remove ice blockage without causing further damage to wires and liner. Unit needs to be thawed 24-48 hrs prior to repairs. After further diagnosis of unit I found that the drain pump before being tested was a ohming at 37 to 40 ohms instead of the 16 to 25 that it was supposed to be per the manufacturer text sheet. Also found when pump was finally tested it was too weak to pump all the water out. Replaced the drain pump reassembled and tested the unit to refill agitate and drain cycle found no signs of leaking and unit fully emptying out the tub as designed within the allotted time. After further testing I found that the front right infinite switch had blown a hold through the switch causing it to not allow the full 240 V to the burner I also found that the back left 8 inch infinite switch was sending full power to the burner simulating that the burner was set to high even if it was set on low setting not allowing unit to regulate the temp. Replace both the front left and back left infinite switches after reassembling and testing unit found that all burners were fully functioning as designed and could allow for temperature fluctuations in the knobs returned

Found stable 240v to receptacles. Also found relays on control sticking during preheat cycle. Called safety team Sr#7733058123. After verifying all heating hardware was intact I then found a stable 240v connection to the terminal. When testing voltage on L1(black wire) to ground when you was started I found voltage would go from 130 down under 100v then back up again causing the pf failure. Found outlet/ wiring in house not able to hold a stable 120 connection on the L1 side when dryer was activated. Informed customer to contact customer electrician. Quoted customer for replacement of ui control and knob with quote included in sd quick pics. Collected service fee after customer stated they would wait on further repairs. Call complete

Upon testing the unit, saw that it was leaking on the right side of the unit. Upon further investigation. Found that the unit was not installed correctly and the other rubber gasket was pushed out just enough to cause the water to pool at the top of the door on the inside and causing the leak. Also let customer know that cabinetry coupe an issue as well. Took pics for reference. Let customer know that the unit needs to be re installed and cabinetry to be fixed. "Arrived to inspect water damage. I found the CX had removed the unit from its mounting point and the drain tube had been removed by them for inspection. There was still signs of water that had drained out onto the floor and had passed under the wall to the living room area. The CX had already removed all standing water and was drying the floor and wall areas during our inspection. There was a zip strip on the cord and drain tube former, but I could not verify any other details due to the unit being pulled out for cleanup prior to my arrival. I advised the CX to not use the unit until the previous repair is complete and the gear case has been installed. No other leaks of the unit or water supply observed during my inspection."
