The customer advised that the machine was in the middle of a wash cycle and drained but kept saying that the drain was clogged. He advised that he removed the hose from the back of the washing machine and did not find any water coming out of it. He advised he thought that the water had drained but wasnt sure because of the error and the clothes were stuck in the washer because the lid wont unlock. I plugged the machine in and found the machine immediately starting to run the drain pump. I tried turning the machine on and found it non-responsive. I pulled the machine out and found it was not full of water. I gained access to the control and removed the pressure hose. I still found the machine draining and doing nothing else. I replaced the control W11621180 and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present during service. Call complete.

Inspected the gearcase and found some oil. Replaced the gearcase w11449841, slider w10734521 and agitator w11550891. Unit is filling and washing as designed now. No leaks while on site

Arrived on site to diagnose range tripping the circuit breaker when the broiler is in use during cooking. Spoke with the customer, who stated the breaker only trips intermittently while using the broiler, specifically when cooking items such as bacon. Tested the unit and verified proper voltage and amp draw during operation. Turned the broiler on and monitored the unit while heating. Initial testing showed the unit operating within specifications. Customer then placed bacon in the oven under the broiler to duplicate the concern. During this test, the breaker tripped, confirming the customers complaint. Based on testing and prior history, replaced the broil element and electronic control board. After installation, tested the unit again and verified proper operation. Advised the customer to place food one rack position below the broiler element rather than directly underneath it to help reduce excessive heat concentration near the broiler assembly. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle and found the unit working and operating as designed. I did advise the customer that the control senses the load during the initial spin and agitation phases to determine water level and that the deep fill does not necessarily mean the customer will get a full basket of water. I explained how the machine works and advised that because the machine does this, it can result in different water levels, even on the same items due to loading. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 23832171. He agreed with my diagnosis and advised that the unit was working as designed. Call complete. Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator JBZFL24IGX10 ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the freezer and found it at 4 degrees. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker in test 120 and found the ice maker is operating as designed. I tested the fill tube in test 97 and could hear the valve humming, but no water was coming into the tray. I tested the fill tube heater in test 66 and allowed it to cycle for a few minutes then retested the fill and got the same results. I tested voltage to the to fill tube heater and found no voltage. I removed and replaced the UI, per sercice pointer W11757132, and retested the fill tube and checked for voltage and found 12.3VDC at the fill tube heater. I retested the fill and found the fill tube is blocked with ice. I removed and replaced it fill tube assembly and retested and the unit is operating as designed. I advised the customer that the unit would take approximately 24 hours to get back to set temps and the ice bin will take approximately 72 hours to completely fill. Arrived on site to follow up on ice machine KUIX535HPS01. Unit again has continued to be inconsistent when making ice. It will make a harvest or 2 in a day, but thats it. On arrival today, unit had a full bin again. I called tech line and discussed in depth what to do. Likely parts have already been replaced. Tech line consulted engineering who came back and advised that if the float on the external drain pump is sticking or slow draining, it will likely be cutting power to the unit. When it comes back on, it should be in an idle state and may take time to produce again. They advised to dump a gallon or so of water in the bin and see if its slow to drain, or kicks off. I did find the external drain was not kicking off, but seemed to drain slow. I installed a new W11539855 ext drain and tested. Unit seemed to be resuming production. Any further issues will require tech line calls. DZO.

Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator KRFC236SPS02 ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the ice maker isnt making much ice since it was installed. I tested temps in the FC=4 degrees. I found ice in the bin but only maybe 1/4 full, if that. I tested the ice maker harvested and its operating as designed. Cycled power to the unit to reset the controls. I contacted techline and spoke to George and advised of the complaint, recent repairs and the issue now. George advised that the ice maker thermistor must detect temps below 8 degrees or it wont harvest. Alao advised that if the unit doors are opened frequently, causing the temps to rise in the freezer, will cause the ice maker harvest to reset for 100 minutes ultimately causing ice producti9n to take more than 72 hours to completely fill the bin. George recommended a data logger, but advised that the unit appears to be operating as designed. George advised to not replace any parts and provided Case #23818956. I advised my customer of this conversation and recommended they monitor the unit. The refrigerator is operating as designed and no water leaks observed during service, job completed.

Arrived on site to test unit LER4634JQ1 for not working. Upon arrival customer stated the drum had been spinning slowly prior to the failure, then the unit stopped mid-cycle and would no longer start. Verified complaint and found unit would not initiate a cycle. Inspected door switch and found switch leg loose preventing the switch from properly closing the circuit. Installed a jumper wire for diagnostic purposes to bypass the switch, however unit still would not start. Continued diagnosis at the rear components and found thermal fuse reading open. Based on customers reported symptom of slow drum rotation prior to failure, along with the failed fuse unit will require replacement of thermal fuse, door switch, and motor to resolve concern. Recommend a vent test to be run after repair is completed. Ordering parts, no parts installed, rescheduled for 06/15. Arrive on site for a washing machine model MTW4205SW1 that is going off balance on every load. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they have been delaying this for a while, where the unit will be spinning, and out of nowhere, the unit starts going off balance and walking the machine. They advised they have to stop the machine. I checked the suspension and found the suspension was fine. I did find the unit slightly unlevel and the tub leaning against the front panel. I checked the basket and found the basket properly secured to the drive shaft but wiggling a little bit. I used a flashlight to check the holes drilled into the basket due to the holes seemingly not being punched all the way through. I found no light was detected on the other side of the basket, indicating a manufacturing flaw. I recommended replacing the plug. The client gave me an extension so I could plug in another outlet. I calibrated then tested product is working as its designed with no water leaks visible from the main water supply.

WET4027HW2 arrived on-site to washer making a loud noise. Put unit into diagnostics; when it started to spin, loud noise sounded like inner basket bouncing around. Removed agitator and found drive block had sheared, sitting down a couple inches onto drive shaft with basket on outer tub. Tried to lift inner basket and pull drive block out but it was too tight. Will need to remove gear case and inner basket to reinstall new drive block. Ordering drive block will also require a second man. I checked and found proper voltage and polarity going to the machine. I tried spinning the basket by hand and found it would spin one way but was stuck going the other. I gained access to the blower wheel and found a clog and a t-shirt stuck in the blower wheel, causing the motor not to turn. I removed the debris and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed and no leaks were present during service .

Arrived on site for washer WTW4816FW3 with issue of washer pump running Pump Running SP W11766193 Special Project S153EB. Upon arrival, ran diagnostics and get F3-E1 pressure system fault. Need to replace control per service pointer. I replaced control W11603810. Calibrated unit. Test unit and is operating as designed. No leaks present. Job complete

WRF757SDHZ04 Arrived on site for a refrigerator not making ice. On arrival, I verified the a failed icemaker. I ran diagnostic and found error code E5 a failed thermistor. Also the heater has failed. I replaced the icemaker and heater then tested product is working as its designed no water leaks visible from the main water supply.

Arrived on site to look at model WTW5057LW0 for customer complaint of unit not draining. Found issue with the drain pump. I replaced pump, unit tested good. Part used w11399437

Arrived on site to inspect washer model WTW4955HW3 not responding. Upon further inspection, I found that the previous control installed was defective and not responding. I replaced the control and recalibrated and tested the machine and it is now operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service. W11608056

Arrived on site for a refrigerator model KRFC236SPS02 that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the ice maker tray broke and is dangling inside of the freezer. I confirmed the customers complaint and found the tray cracked and dangling. He advised it had worked previously. Ordering the ice maker W11788019 and the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to an out of stock and PSP item. Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed dual valve, replaced valve WPW10341320 and tested, unit is now running as designed, tested FC harness and found no issues at this time, if this issue persists then the wires inside FC harness could be failing inside the insulation, harness wire protector in cracked and thorn around the hinge, customer will monitor and call us back if needed, at this time no leaks detected job complete

Washer WETLV27HW3. Not working. Unit was cycling through the LEDs continuously from right to left. Turned off unit at breaker and allowed to sit for about five minutes. Turning it back on, LEDs started cycling from right to left again. Tried to put unit into diagnostics. Would not go into diagnostics. Ordered control board. Office to contact customer once part comes in. NO WATER LEAKS OBSERVED DURING SERVICE; ordrng 1 W11629601 (Control)

Arrived on site for control panel not responding. Upon arrival, proceeded to check error codes and found F8E4 float switch . Cleared codes. Ran diagnostics and passed with no issues. Spoke with customer and stated the property is a guest house and multiple people were using it. Suspecting dishes were not loaded properly along with heavy detergent use causing oversuds. Removed drip pan and found water on the leak sensor showed customer how water would get into pan. Customer agrees and will notify the guests going forward. Unit is functioning as designed no water leaks detected at this time. No parts needed.

Arrived on site for drain pump not draining. Ran test mode and found drain pumps working, found water valve was not letting in enough water and water level sensor was off. Arrived on site to test unit for not working properly, customer stated that it shakes, tested unit found lidlock broken not able to test out unit properly with a failed lid lock, will need to replace lid lock and complete full diagnostics, ordering part rescheduled for 6/15; ordrng 1 W11513248 (Lid lock)

WTW4900BW1 Arrived on site for a washer not working. On arrival, I tried running diagnostic but no response. I replaced the control board calibrated and then tested. The drain pump has failed, not draining the water. I tested ohms, and readings were off. I replaced the part calibrated then tested product is working as its no water leaks visible from the main water supply.

Refrigerator WRS325SDHZ14. Customer stated water from dispenser was warm and refrigerator section seemed warmer than normal with food not lasting as long. Verified issue with water and advised customer that reservoir only holds 12 to 16 oz; past that comes directly from house at incoming water temperature. Customer uses about 5 or 6 cups per day. Advised customer there is nothing that can be done for that. Checked temperatures: top shelf 39, middle 42, lower 45. Checked thermistor OK. Removed and replaced thermistor wpw1038483. Checked damper and damper door opened and closed properly. Advised customer to give 24 hours to adjust. If temperature issue persists, call back. Refrigerator is working as intended. No leaks detected time of service

WFW5720RR0 Arrived on site for a washer that is leaking. On arrival, the client stated it was leaking from the front only when cleaning cycle. I found a hole in the bellow . I replaced the part then tested the product is working as its designed no water leaks visible from the main water supply.

Arrived on site for washer WTW4816FW3 with issue of basket not turning, not washing. Upon arrival, ran diagnostics and get error code F7-E6 motor fault. Ran components test and found motor agitates but agitor has no resistance. I removed agitator to inspect shaft and agitator. I found agitator dogs have failed as well as bottom of agitator is stripped . Need to replace agitator . Test spin and spins correctly but makes loud screeching sound. Inspected gearcase and there is no signs of leaking oil. I replaced belt W11239857 and splutch assembly W10721967. Test unit and screech is now gone. Ordering agitator assembly . Arrived on site for a microwave WMH31017HS12 not heating. Verified the issue and visible damage to the diode. I replaced the magnetron w11737891, diode w11256462 and capacitor wpw10574736. Heated a glass of water without any issues.

Arrived on site to replace previously ordered part. Upon arrival along with TM assistance replaced W11378552 tub. Replaced diagnostics and confirmed noise is no longer present and all other functions are working as designed. No water leaks detected at this time

Arrived on site for dryer MED6230HW2 with condensation building. Customer clarified that this condensation shows up after cycles are run. They can empty the unit, and the next day there may be condensation on the door, or some on the bottom of the drum. At the time of service, thermostat was reading 71 with 50% humidity. The laundry room is on an outside wall with a very short vent, and no windfall. With the fact the dryer is unsealed in a heavily air conditioned room, condensation is forming due to the hot air that seeps past the vent and into the dryer, where it meets the colder room air. Unit heats and runs with no issues. Confered with PR who is in agreement, and recommended that customer adds a dryer vent draft blocker, which will minimize the hot air infiltration. Nothing wrong with the unit or any adjustments we can make to prevent this. Advised leaving the dryer door open to keep temps down.

Arrived on site to look at model WRX735SDHZ02 for customer complaint of unit not dispensing ice. Found ice caught between ice maker and bail arm which then wouldnt release all the ice and in turn causing ice maker to over fill and create a block of ice. I removed ice build up and tested unit unit tested good.

Arrived on site for a washing machine model WTW5540SQ0 that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the last wash that was running was done by her son, and water leaked all over the floor. She advised they have not used it since due to the water leak. I removed the cabinet and ran the unit through a casual permanent press cycle and found the machine filling, washing, draining, and spinning without leaking. I did not find the drain backing up and found no water residue present anywhere while the machine was running. I watched the machine complete a full cycle without failure and advised that because I was unable to replicate the issue, I would not be able to determine what caused the leak. I advised the customer to keep an eye on the unit and to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete. No parts were installed, and no leaks were present during service.

Arrived on site to test unit for noise, tested unit found no visible failed components, no sighs of oil or gear case failure, customer play video and was able to determine that shift actuator is not disengaging properly causing cam to grind, replaced shift actuator W11481722, cam W10721967 and belt W11239857 and tested unit is now running as designed no leaks detected job complete

Arrived on site to test unit WTW8127LC3 for lid not locking. Upon arrival found F5E3 (lid will not lock or unlock) error code displayed. Entered service mode and cleared stored fault code. Tested lid latch operation and found latch assembly repeatedly actuating but failing to reach the locked position, preventing cycle initiation. Determined lid latch assembly had failed. Replaced latch assembly (W11670519) and retested unit operation. Verified lid now locks and unlocks properly and all cycle functions operate as intended. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete.

Arrived on site for dishwasher not running . Ran diagnostics got 8-2,10-2,10-1 codes . Ran test wash . Wash motor never activated . Test wax motor on vent and found its failed as well.
