Arrived onsite for a washer that is vibrating in spin to the point where the dispenser drawer will open and the unit will wall forwards a bit. Also the time displayed does not match the time that the unit actually runs for. Upon arrival the customer did advise me that this happened when they were washing jeans and some shirts and towels. I check to see if the shipping bolts where still installed and found that they were not. I checked for codes and found no codes. I ran the unit in diagnostics mode and found that the unit operated as designed no issue. I then ran the unit with jeans and some towels in the tub and found when the unit when into spin the unit would walk and the drawer would open. I adjusted the leveling feet and ran the unit again and found that the unit is now operating as designed no leaks

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is making a loud popping noise and is shaking during spin cycle. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. The customer identified the noise when the unit was shifting from agitate to spin and I advised it was the slider popping against the rotor and its normal. I provided the parts breakdown to explain the functions of the gearcase and components and to show which parts are making the popping noise. I calibrated the unit and retested and unit continued to operate as designed. I tilted the unit back and inspected underneath and found all parts in good condition. Unit is leveled and I made recommendations for use and care, as well as detergent use (water softener system). No repairs needed at this time. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

After reassembly , tested unit and unit was no longer tripping. Ran unit at 350 then again at 380 degrees. Need to contact safety team. Would recommend if symptoms persist try replacing the main wire harness."

I found in test mode the unit drained slowly and I disassembled the pump for inspection. Thee were several smaller articles of clothing stuck in the strainer, preventing flow and they appeared to have been in the area for some period of time. I removed and tested and the unit resumed normal operation. No leaks observed during service. I applied the warranty to the service."

The customer advised that the unit does heat, but that it takes them several cycles in order to dry clothes. I checked the unit on a high heat cycle and found the unit tumbling and heating as designed. Checked behind the unit and found the vent hose and sneaking several different directions before going into the wall. Tested airflow and found poor airflow for electric dryers. I advise the customer that they will need to replace there vent hose and that if further issues persists, they may need to get their vents cleaned. The unit is working and operating as designed. I did notice the customer is not using rinse aid and did advise her to use rinse aid for better drying. Ran the unit through diagnostics and Dinda find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed with the heater coming on in the middle of the cycle. I did advise the customer that this unit is working and operating as designed, I did give the customer a few tips and tricks on how to get their best dry out of this dishwasher. "WGD4850HW2 Arrived to inspect drying issues. I found the unit would not ignite and the gas solenoid had failed, assist solenoid 1-3 was open. Excessive heat due to venting issues is a common contributor to this type of failure, especially multiple times in such a short timespan. Testing the venting, I found it almost completely restricted. The flow was so minimal that a piece of paper, fully placed on the drum exhaust/blower intake at the rear bulkhead, would not stay in place and slowly slid down. I advised the tenant this is an unsafe condition and the venting issue must be corrected prior to any attempted use. The only way to test the unit after the repair was with the venting into the wall disconnected and it operated as designed, heating and cycling as expected. Reconnecting and attempting the test showed the airflow so minimal that the flame barely entered the flame tube. The chassis also had excessive lint within it that was removed during service, another indicator of severe vent blockage. No gas leaks detected during service."

I inspected the ignitor and burner head and both appeared to,be good. Retested several times and the burner would not ignite but I could smell gas being released. I inspected the orifices and found the smaller orifice completely clogged with debris and cleared it out and retested and same results. I removed and replaced the burner head and same results. I adjusted the burner head and retested and the burner ignited, but when lowering the flame to a simmer, the flame goes out. Inspected the valve and there is no adjuster for the valve. The customer advised the unit does make ice and has been making ice, but that it stopped for about a day or two and then started back up again they didnt know if the unit was working properly. Advised in the last five days, the unit has been making ice and working properly. He just wanted to be advised that he thought about canceling, but just wanted to have the unit looked at. Check the unit and found the unit had a a 3/4 bin full of ice. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found all tests passed. Checked the icemaker store to error codes and found none. I advise the customer that because I could not find any failures with the unit, I wouldnt know exactly what was causing the issue, and that it could be an issue with the door being left open, causing temperature issues with harvest. I installed the filter cap and attempted to drain the dishwasher. Found the dishwasher would not drain. Removed the drain hose off of the Garbage disposal and found no water coming through the drain hose. Use the shop vac to remove all excess water as out of the dishwasher. Gained access to the drain pump and found a piece of a bowl or a cup impeding the drain pump impeller. Removed the obstruction and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present during operation. Call complete.

I disassembled the unit to inspect the element and found the drive belt beginning to fray. I tested the element and it had continuity, but when I removed the element from the housing I found the middle metal plate badly warped and cracked. Also found the back right roller not turning properly. I replaced the element and repair kit that included the belt and roller and reassembled the unit. I removed one of the drum baffles and found a coin inside. Removed the coin and tested the drum by turning it and no further noises. I tested the unit again and after a few minutes, I could hear a faint vibration noise. I disassembled the unit to find the blower wheel broken (photo). I removed and replaced the wheel and retested and unit is operating as designed. I reassembled the unit and retested again and the unit continues to operate as designed.
