Detergent dispenser unit is back flowing water to the automatic detergent and making too much soap suds in wash cycle causing unit to stay locked and staying in flood mode. Despite any attempts to remove the error message, the unit would not change the error message. Upon unplugging the unit, found the main control clicking on a relay seven times before powering off. Replaced the main control and tested the unit. The unit ran through an auto test and manual testing as designed. Arrived on site for a washing machine thats making a screeching sound during operation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit will complete a cycle but that it seems to be really loud when it starts ramping up into the spin. Tested the unit and confirmed the customers complaint. Checked underneath the unit and found the cam stripped. Replaced the cam and removed the motor to widen the gap for the belt to make sure the belt had a nice firm grip on both motor and cam. Reassembled the unit and ran the unit for an auto test. The unit began to run and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that was clicking and did not finish the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they believed the same issue was happening again with this washer where it would clear cannot drain. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Tested the unit in manual high speed agitation and spin. I could not find any fault going back-and-forth between the two. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. I asked the customer if this had only happened on one load or if it had been happening consistently. They advised that the unit had been working for a full month without any issues and it happened on one load. Thus, they did not try to use it again and called back in. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian SR# 7733203071. He advised that based on my findings, there was nothing we can do at this point on the machine due to inability to replicate the issue. He said that if it only happened on one load, it might have been an issue with the load. He advised to make no repairs at this time. Advise the customer to try different size loads and to see if theres an issue consistently with this unit not being able to finish the cycle. I did advise the customer that if the basket is overloaded or the unit goes off-balance, they may find issues with the unit completing cycles. Arrived onsite for unit having black or brown water sitting at the bottom of the unit. Looked at the bottom and saw some brownish looking water sitting at the bottom. Found that the garbage disposal was the issue as the water would back up and causing some of the water to run back into the unit. Turned on the garbage disposal to get rid of what ever was clogging the garbage disposal. Ran the unit and unit drained with no issues or water backing up back into the unit. I informed the customer on my findings and that we could replace the UI for prevention, but at the time of service it was running as designed. The customer declined any repair.

I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F10E3 for drying fan error, F9E1 for diverter cant find position, F9E2 for diverter stuck on, and F6E1 for low or no water. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and found the vent fan not turning on. I could not replicate a leak, but I found the water never transitioned through the different wash arms. Upon further inspection I found signs of water under the diverter. I ran the unit again and tested voltage at the vent. I found it good, but the vent was still not functioning. "Arrived on site to inspect upright freezer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise which sounded like metal on metal vibration. Upon arrival, the unit was quiet. I tested temps and they were at 8 degrees. The compressor came on and the vibration noise started, just not as loud as what was sounding in the video. I pulled the unit out and adjusted the refrigerant lines at the back near the compressor and placed the unit back in its spot. Leveled the unit and monitored for approximately 20 mins. Customer was happy with the normal noise. No water connections to unit/dry, job completed."

I pressed the start button for 3 seconds to turn the drain pump on and the unit drained as designed. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E2 and cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed. I tested two more times and it continued to operate as designed. I removed the drain pump and inspected/tested it and its good. I found the drain hose has a high loop under the sink and the hose is clear of debris.. Customer advised they have a water softener system. "Arrived on site for no cool. Removed evaporator cover,found oil on evaporator tubing,found cap tube in heat exchanger heavily corroded,showed customer corrosion,slightly moved cap tube to further show customer and cap tube started letting out pressure. Unit is unrepairable due to leak location

"Arrived on site for refrigerant leak. Replaced the freezer evaporator and installed a uv drier,vacuumed system down unit kept vacuum recharged system to manufacture spec powered unit on checked low side pressure good checked frost pattern good.

Arrived onsite for range leaking gas. Upon arrival customer notified me that unit was covered for LP. Found that conversion to regulator had not been made. Covered to LP however gas would leak immediately from regulator. Will need to order regulator and valve and set regulator to LP on arrival.
