"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not working. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and attempted to test. With test mode in the drain function, I pressed the start button and the start light began to flash with the normal light indicating the door is not closed even though it was closed. I attempted testing in the remaining modes and it continued to fail. I cycled power and removed the control and cycled power back on and monitored the diagnostics LED and it is flashing accordingly. I tested the unit in a normal wash mode and the unit operated as designed. I placed the unit back in diagnostics and tested the unit and it operated as designed. I advised the customer of my findings and demonstrated to the customer while I still had the unit in diagnostics. I advised that no repairs are needed at this time as I cannot duplicate the issue any further.I recommended that the customer monitor the unit and if it begins to malfunction again to contact our office. "Arrived on site and customer complaint is when a cycle is chosen it will stop running after 5-10 minutes. Last week the normal cycle would keep stopping this week its the only one that will run. Choosing a different cycle when this happens allows dishwasher to run and complete cycle. inspected dishwasher and found 5/1, 8/4, and door is closing properly and drain pump is running correctly started and canceled multiple cycles to try to re-create customers experience.

Arrived on site for venthood lights not operating. Inspected unit and work area. Tested light operation while measuring voltage. Found control send voltage to lights. Found bad connection at the quick connect. Tightened connection and tested light operation and found work.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator making noise and not cooling properly. Upon arrival I found that the unit had PO flashing on the UI as if there had been a power outage. I checked temps and found the FC at 28?F and the RC at 38?F. Upon further inspection I found the FC evap a solid block of ice. I then gained access to the evap area, and found water dripping from the suction side and creating rust. Both of these indicate a possible defrost issue. I gained access to the control and ohmd out the thermistors. I found the RC thermistor at 8.18k, the FC thermistor at 12.2k, and the FC defrost thermistor at 14k. These are all accurate readings for the temp at the time of reading. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and when I activated the FC fan I could not hear it energize. I checked voltage at the control to the FC fan when in step 3 part 2 and got the correct 12VDC. This indicates a faulty FC fan. I then activated a short defrost and checked voltage to it at the control, and found the control only sending 18VAC. This indicates a faulty control. The unit will need a new FC evap motor and control for the repair. I am ordering the control, and we will return with the evap motor to install. I advised the customer on leaving the unit of for a minimum of 48 hours to defrost before service. Office to reschedule.; ordrng 1 WPW10675033 (Comtrol)"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=9 degrees and RC=51 degrees. Insoected the FC evaporator and it had a good frost pattern. Inspected the RC evaporator and it was dry and the evap thermistor was blackened. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the unit in test 4 and found good frost patterns on both evaporators. Checked amp draw at the compressor and got 1.1amps. Also found a service tap on the access valve of the compressor and checked it for leaks and it is good. Tested the thermistors at the control and found the RC thermistor way out of range.I removed and replaced the evap motor harness and secured the thermistor to the suction line with foil tape and a ziptie. Retested the unit and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for dryer starting and stoping on it own and running for hours on automatic dry cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Measured incoming voltage to unit and found correct. "Arrived on site for a wall oven making a loud noise. Upon arrival the customer provided a video of the noise. It sounded as if it was a metal on metal noise. They also stated that the noise is still intermittent, typically happens when on hot settings, and can occur with either oven running. Due to this I gained access to the blower and convection fans. I found both in good shape and with no obstructions. I found when individually activating each fan, no noise would occur. Upon further inspection I found the hard wired conduit roughly 7 feet long, and possibly vibrating against the back of the unit when running. I called techline and spoke to Robert and received SR# 7732618930. Robert agreed that the conduit could cause the rattle. After running the unit a long period of time which could cause thermal expansion, the conduit can get tighter and start to vibrate on the chassis. The unit is running as designed, and I informed the customer of my findings. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to diagnose dryer with long dry times. Customer advised cycles take 2 or so cycles to fully dry. Customer showed me that when unit was installed the installers crunched the vent hose. Checked hose and found it caved in on one side. Removed hose and popped out the dent. Ran unit and verified it is heating properly. I advised customer to make sure eco boost is disabled as it almost always come on by default. Provided customer with number for dryer vent wizard to have vents cleaned since it has been some time since they have been cleaned. Unit is working as designed, and vent hose restriction has been removed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for Range oven not properly holding temp. Customer was using a temp thermometer to see temps while oven was heating. Explained how all ovens heat by going to high and low temps to keep preset temp theyve set the oven to. Her baking with this oven never seems to work like shes use to experiencing with her previous ovens. Ran three sets of temps to find average. First high temp was 415. First low temp was 332. Ave of 373. Second high temp was 404. Second low temp was 318. Ave of 361. Third high temp was 401. Third low temp was 316. Ave of 358. Average of three temps was 364. Calibrated oven to -20 because it was set to -10. Advised customer to allow oven to preheat for an additional 10 minutes to let the oven find and maintain an equal temp inside. Job completed.

Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling in RC. Inspected unit and work area. Found frost buildup on evaporator. Performed diagnostics mode and tested thermistor and RC fan. Found fan mot not running. Gained access to to fan and measured DC voltage to fan and found correct. Measured resistance on fan motor and found opened/ failed. Called Whirlpool tech-support and spoke with Anthony. He stated fan motor was bad and to replace fan scroll (SR# 7732619457). Removed ice buildup and fan scroll. Installed new fan scroll and assembled unit. Performed diagnostics mode and tested fan operation and found working as designed. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=4 degrees and RC=51 degrees. I found the left RC door slightly pushed out. When I inspected the RC section, I found a large block of ice on the RC evap cover and was protruding out of the evap area and pushing the deli drawer outward causing the left RC door to not be able to close (photos). I advised the customer that I would have to reschedule due to the amount of ice on the evaporator and had my customer sign the waiver of damages when defrosting the refrigerator. I recommended that they pull the unit out and place towels around it to help absorb any water that leaks and to unplug the unit at least 48 hours before I returndefrost element and bimetal. Arrived on site for a dryer making a loud noise when on. I tested the unit and could hear a loud rattle coming from the back of the tub. I gained access to inside the unit and found the back two wheels had broken their bearings. Due to this the wheels were not stable and were causing a loud sound. I installed the wheels and then tested the unit. The unit is no longer making the noise and is working as designed. Call complete.

On occasions ice would also get stuck in the chute and have to be cleaned out. Advised to empty the ice bucket regularly since customers are not heavy ice users, and this will keep it from clumping as bad and make it easier to dispense. I showed the customer to trigger the dispenser paddles from the top, since it is hinged at the bottom this will make it take the least pressure to use. Arrived on site for refrigerator thats not making ice. Inspected unit in work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and found very little ice cubes inside the icemaker. Tested the unit and good night get the unit to jump. Unplugged and replug in the unit and tried to jump it again. Still had no response. Had voltage going to the motor but the motor was not turning. Replaced the icemaker and tested the unit again. The unit filled with and did not fill correctly. Only a third of the ice cube tray had been filled. Checked the valve and reservoir for any frozen lines or issues with voltage. Check the water dispenser and found very little water flow coming from the water dispenser. Checked the waterline at the wall and found water barely dribbling out of the wall. Advise the customer that they would need to get a plumber out to fix their water supply issue. The customer then got a call from the sun a minute later and advised that they had lost all water pressure to the area. Advise the customer to call back if they have any further issues. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for washer leaking water. Inspected unit and work area. Removed top and performed diagnostics mode. Monitored all components operation. Found dust in top of pedestal, sign of no water leaking from underneath unit. Found water valve and hoses dry. Found door gasket not drain water and holding standing water. Found door gasket will need to be replaced.

Performed streem diagnosis. Found downdraft will rise but the fan not running. customer can turn the fan switch on and off a couple of times and it will come on. unit has a failed fan switch.

"Arrived on site for a water dispenser dripping water. Upon arrival the customer stated that the water will drip throughout the day, and occasionally has air pockets in the line causing the water to spit out. They also stated that it began right before the first service, and at this time it was spitting badly. They found the spitting has gotten better with the repairs, but it still drips. Per notes I called techline on arrival. I spoke to Andrew and received SR# 7732596171. Andrew had me gain access to the valve and test the water flow coming from the dispenser side. When I did he could hear it over the phone, and he stated it sounded kind of high. He advised installing a PRV and water line if I could not find any physical damage on the dispenser line indicating an air leak. I inspected the line and observed no damage. Arrived on site for Condensation in the Refrigerator Section - Refrigerator. Found temps for fridge set to 5 and freezer temp set to -15. Realized temps were set to Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. Changed to Fahrenheit and temps were set back to recommended. Placed in diagnostics and turned on vertical mullion to 02 which should keep the mullion on at all times. After ten minutes the mullion was still not warm. Called Whirlpool tech line due to third visit for repeated issue. Found light frost over evaporator cover. Called Whirlpool tech line and spoke to Andy. Andy had me check doors for air leaks. Found freezer door had frost at bottom center but seal was making good contact with liner. Ordering a new freezer door W11435342 due to current freezer door being warped. Returning with mullion and ordering UI W11284720 in case the mullion is not receiving voltage to turn on. Arrived on site for refrigerator not allowing for water to dispense. Upon arrival confirmed issue and customer had stated they recently replaced filter right before issue occurred. After further inspection I found housing asm failing to seal properly to filter. Removed filter and replaced housing asm. Found dispenser fully functioning but when filter was reinstalled it was resorting back to original symptoms. Found filter defective also. Instructed customer on reordering new filter. Call complete

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, tested temps in the FC=21 degrees, but the unit was in defrost mode. Disassembled the FC section and found ice on the evaporator cover and on the top of the FC section. Removed evap cover and found a perfect frost pattern and determined the unit had a precious air leak from the FC door not closing properly. Advised customer of our findings and instructed on use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised if the unit is leaking at two points during operation. Ran the unit for an auto test and the unit ran as designed until it got to the drain portion of the cycle where it began gushing water out of the dishwasher. Removed the dishwasher from the cabinet and found that the drain hose had been disconnected from the dishwasher itself. Reconnected the drain hose onto the dishwasher and tested the unit. The unit began to work as designed with no leaks present. The customer advised that the installer seemed to be in a rush and did not install the dishwasher hose the way that I had making him believe that the issue was probably with the installation and it just finally came off after a number of cycles. Advise customer to keep an eye on the unit and call back if any further issues persist. Call complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for unit not washing and making high pitch noise. Found unit not getting water in filled unit with water and found wash motor not creating pressure. Will need new sump and motor and new fill valve

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is dispensing ice when ice is not called. Inspected unit and work area. Attempted to replicate the issue but was unable to replicate the issue. The customer said that every couple days, when they go to dispense ice from their ice dispenser, as soon as they are done dispensing the ice, do unit will continue to dispense ice for another 5 to 8 seconds. She advised that this is leaving ice cubes all over her floor. She did advise that sometimes the ice door stays open and other times the ice door is closed when the unit is dispensing the ice. Spoke to PR and was advised to check polarity at the outlet but if polarity was good, to order the main control, you are, and ice paddle. Checked flirty at the plug and found 62.4 V going from neutral to ground, 54 V going from hot to ground, I double checked the voltage by going from hot and neutral to a ground screw. I advised the customer that they would need an electrician to repair the electrical supply issue prior to any repairs due to that most likely being the issue with intermittent failures. Advise the customer to call back if they have any further issues. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a dishwasher thats having issues with the rollers. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the stops were coming off of our dishwasher and they havent been able to fit them back on. How did the stops back onto the dishwasher top rack rails and test at the unit. The unit is not working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for ice forming around ice bin. Found same pattern forming on right and rear sides of ice bin. Found no gaps/leaks in gaskets. Spoke with tech line and recommended replacing ice separator/door along with ice chute assembly as well as installing Permagum around ice chute gasket.(SR#7732605889). Needing ice door and Permagum. "Arrived on site for Freezer making noise, ice on the back of the freezer NOISE-FREEZER MAKING NOISE- FRIDGE OK. Customer showed me a piece of plastic that had come loose from the interior near the ice maker. Identified the plastic piece as the fill cup. Due to fill cup no longer being mounted it was allowing water to trickle down into the evaporator section and create and small section of ice down the evaporator cover every time the ice maker called for water. Customer had already cleared the ice off the evaporator cover. After a period of time after clearing the ice the loud noise had gone away. I remounted the fill cup and had the ice maker run a harvest. No leaks detected. Also ran diagnostics to run a short defrost to remove any residual ice that may have formed over the evaporator fan blades to prevent the noise from coming back. Job completed."

Arrived onsite to in previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival I gained access to water inlet valve and replace it Ali g with the sump and motor. I gained access to to the main control and replaced it as well. I tested unit and found that the unit it now operating as designed. No leaks at this time. Job complete
