During highest spin, beginning to hear a squeaking noise coming from bottom of unit. Remove rotor and inspected lower components. Found the slider has failed. Replaced slider and test unit. "KRSF505ESS01 Arrived to inspect cooling issues and icing. I found the RC at 50 in the upper part and 17 in the lower. The FC was -4. I found the RC evaporator blocked with frost, stopping airflow and creating the uneven temperatures. I removed the frost and tested. The FC door would not seal due to an ill-fitting gasket and deformed lower mullion, I adjusted the mullion and door and after adjustment, I was able to get it to seal. I had to leave foil tape at the top of the door to hold it closed to allow enough time to re-bed the gasket. I attempted to contact the customer to advise and there was no answer. I will follow up with the customer on the following day. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they had defrost the unit after they initially called in and have plugged in two days ago to get the unit running. I found temperatures in the freezer at 0?F in the refrigerator at 38?F. I gained access to the control and checked all thermistors. I found the defrost sensor at 25.7 K ohms (-4?F), the freezer thermistor at 22.9 k ohms (1?F), and the refrigerator thermistor reading 7.5 k ohms (38?F). I found the defrost heater registering 89.9 ohms of resistance indicating a good circuit. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7738013150. He buys the all the individual components seem to be within range and that his natural inclination would have been to replace the control. However, because we have already done that, he wouldnt throw another one at it. He advised that because of the ongoing issue and the fact that we have replaced everything in the circuit to fix this without an actual fix, he would send the unit for lead review. He advised to make no repairs at this time. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for washer little water going in and making a noise. On inspection ran the unit in diagnostics mode and when going from agitated to spin there was a loud noise. Flipped the unit up and there was no oil. Pulled the rotor and found that the stator had a few wire that were out and lose. Secured the wires and reinstalled the stator and new clutch and slider. The water going in was short cycling into the tub. Installed a new control board and the water stayed on a little longer but enough to wash clothes. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not dispensing crushed ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does dispense both crushed and cubed ice, but that when she is dispensing cube dice, she still gets ice shavings in her cup. I tested both crushed and cubed ice dispensing, and found the unit working and operating as designed. I checked the ice bin and found the top layer of ice was perfect but she was having some ice clumping toward the bottom of her ice container. I asked the customer if they use a lot of ice and she advised that she does on certain days but doesnt for the rest of the week. I explain to the customer that if she is not using ice consistently, she will have ice that will clump due to her, going in and out of the freezer and causing the ice to sweat and refreeze. I advise this will cause clumping of her ice and that if shes not using, a whole bucket of ice a week, she may end up having this issue from time to time. The customer advised that the unit does work most of the time, but that when they run several loads in a row, sometimes the unit will have a lit screen, and the touch buttons do not work with it. She advised that if she gives the unit an hour to two hours, itll turn back on and start working again. I checked the vac hose off the back of the unit and found part of the vent hose crunched. I tested the unit and found the unit tumbling and heating but did find an airflow issue within the unit. I did explain to the customer their issues with her airflow and that they are getting steam heating up into the user interface which is causing the control panel not to register any buttons being pressed. Took amp draw of L2 and had 10.6 on bake and 14.23 amps on broil. Set to max and max read 14.23 when breaker tripped. Retested with green wire disconnected and unit worked and L1 and L2 matched amps. On arrival verified complaint of no ice. Found ui is dim and ice maker has E2 error. Confirmed ice maker function and fill. Recommend replacing ice maker and ui. Temps are all correct. Rescheduled for 4/4; ordrng 1 W10864261 (UI)

Arrived on site for a dishwasher. That is good news on the beeping at the customer when they were trying to use it. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised of the unit does not even fill with water and just makes an alarm sound. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E4 (float switch open) errr code. I gained access to the float switch and found water residue inside the float switch area. I remove the water and tested the unit again. Found the unit still showing a float switch open issue. I went ahead replaced the float switch and tested the unit. See you in it began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present during operation. I did notice that the customer has oversuds inside of her dishwasher and did advisor to lessen the amount of soap used to use. The unit is working as design. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for not tumbling but has power. Upon arrival custstated that the unit would stop tumbling during cycle and continue to heat and count the timer down. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer damage. Upon further inspection, I found the front panel badly dented just below the vent area (photo). Also found the unit is in a closet, just behind the front door (photo), stacked on top of the washer (photo). I found some small dings in the door panels on the right side of the unit and on the closet door (photos). Also found a dent in the door on the back side where the closet handle has previously hit (photos). All apartment damages done before arrival. I placed my towel on the closet door handle to prevent it from doing further damage to the front door (photo). I slid the unit out just far enough to where I could reach the top panel screws and removed the top panel. I removed the front panel of the dryer and replaced the front panel transferring the door and strike to the new panel, along with the model/serial placard. Placed the unit back into the closet and tested operations. Both units are operating as designed. No water leaks; no, lint observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect microwave door damage. Upon further inspection, I found a piece of tape indicating where the damage on the microwave door was located. It was a very small dent (photo). I removed and replaced the door and tested the unit and it is operating as designed. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator fresh foods door (RC) damage. Upon further inspection, I found a small dent in the upper middle area of the right RC door (photo). The contractor/builder provided a door and nameplate and I removed and replaced the right RC door and tested operations. Unit is operating as designed and the door is sealing properly. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect range oven not heating and cooktop burner not igniting. Upon further inspection, I tested the cooktop burners and found the front left burner is not igniting properly and causing a large flame when it does ignite. I adjusted the burner head and retested several times and it continues to fail. I removed and replaced the burner head and retested and same results. I adjusted the burner head and retested and it is operating properly. I tested the oven Bake and found the ignitor is not igniting the burner properly. I gained access to the burner and ignitor and retested and found the ignitor has warped slightly and the arc is not making good contact. I am ordering the Bake ignitor and scheduled return service for 04/04/24. No gas leaks detected during service.; ordrng 1 WPW10324262 (Bake ignitor) and 2 W11233072 (Screw)s"

Arrived onsite for oven not heating and found product outlet miswired all voltage present but wired to wrong prongs. Not neutral. Advised management of findings.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator RC frosting. Customer said he set the defrost to ever 8 hours and it has help with the frosting. I found that the gasket on the right door is torn but not seeing in air gaps. Going to order new gasket and I ordered an another IM for the customer. Im returning a few parts just in case the 8 hour defrost doesnt fix the issue. No water detected during service. ; ordrng 1 W10917313 (Gasket) and 1 W11557002 (Ice maker)
