Arrived onsite for a washer leaking from the bottom. Ms stated it had leaked from the front left bottom of the unit and it wasnt a lot of water but it was enough to run out and make a small puddle. I ran multiple diagnostics cycles and I ran the faucet switch and could not get the unit to leak anywhere. I inspected the tub and the valve assembly along with all of the hoses and no water was found anywhere. I did find where there was a little oil that had slung on the inner chassis but it looked old and the gear case sounded good and worked fine. I explained to Ms that there were no water leaks present at this time and if it happened again to try and video where the drip is. I did find the washer way out of level and leaning to the left so I leveled the washer. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher leaving particles on the dishes. I went over detergent use and rinse aid use with the customer and advised on how to run a cleaning cycle. I found powder build up in the machine caused by hard water. I tested the machine and found no stored error codes and the dishwasher working as designed. I also instructed the customer on how to clean the filters. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a no cool refrigerator in the RC section but the FC seems ok. I found no air flow to the RC because the coil was frosted up due to the bimetal not closing. I replaced the harness. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for an oven making a burning smell. Ms stated the smell started when the microwave was being used. I pulled the oven and visually inspected the wiring and all of the controls and components. I found no signs that any part had ever been hot or burning. I tested the microwave and found it putting out 900 watts and working as designed. I tested the oven and found it working as designed also. I did find the electrical romex coming thru the rear wall and just wire muted to the oven whip and not installed in a box. I explained to the customer that she needed to have a j-box installed and the electrical connection be made up in the box. The customer called her son-n-law who is a contractor and I explained all this to him for her and he will get the electrical taken care of. Arrived onsite for a washer giving a water fill message on the display when it would go into a rinse. I checked stored error codes and found an F11 long fill. The customer had cleaned the screens prior to us arriving and he stated that it had worked 5 times today with him just running cycles with no clothes or adding any detergent. I ran diagnostics and tested all functions. All valves are working as designed. We had a major amount of suds in the machine from residual build up. I advised the customer to clean the machine with a washer cleaner and explained that it could take multiple cleanings to get all the build up out and that it could cause the pressure hose to get bubbles in it when this is done. I showed the customer how to clear the hose

Arrived onsite for an oven completely dead and not responding. I found the thermal fuse open and the door gasket completely flattened at the top but in good condition causing hot air to blow the fuse. I replaced the fuse and showed the customer how to reshape the door gasket to prevent this from happening in the future. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for unit not dispensing water and stopped making ice. Upon arrival inspected unit. Checked for frozen lines and lines were good. Found filter not seated properly in housing. Ran unit and found water issue. When powered on the ice maker would run normal. The Valve would energize and unit would begin fill cycle, about 20 seconds into fill, the supply would be reduced by half, then even down to a trickle. Checked for kinked lines and made adjustment to rear. Tested multiple times and each time the fill would begin with good flow then be reduced down. Looks like unit has a Water supply restriction. Customer is having installers come out and check plumbing connections. Will monitor. If supply is fixed and customer is still experiencing issues recommend returning with valve. Job complete"

Arrived onsite for Washer keeps showing a FL code. The washer is 20 years old. Upon arrival test unit on diagnostics. Unit operated correctly on automatic test. During normal cycles the latch would operate intermittently. The latch energizes but does not lock. Need to replace latch.

They also noticed that the inner part of the coil well sometimes Joe its me glowing but the outer boils do not get as hot. Did test the unit and was able to get water to boil on all burners within 5 to 8 minutes. Did advise the customer that these coils are temperature limiting coils and will not function like previous models. Attempted to call Techline but check line was closed. Spoke to CS and was advised to show them service pointer W11354284. It shows the customer about those Syd issues and that this is normal operation for these coils. The bus customer of the findings and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is giving off a chemical smell and is getting into the food. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and disassembled the freezer evaporator. Did not find any burnt wiring or anything that appeared to have come in contact with the elements. Checked the heater for the same smell and could not detect the same smell at the heater. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Bruce SR# 7734075650. He advised that because there did not appear to be anything that had come in to contact with the element that it would have to be due to something spilling or cleaning that had been done in the refrigerator prior to. The customer advised that the smell also appears in there ice and water supply. Bruce then advise that the issue could be coming from their water supply as well. He advised that there is no component within the refrigerator to make it smell like bleach. He advised make no repairs. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher with leak upon inspection I found no appointment leak upon running yeast. I did notice that the unit was leaning forward a bit and when I took the front door skin off a noticed some soap residue left in between the skins which could be the source of the leak. I advised customer to use less soap I also found out that they use a 2x concentrate detergent and the powder detergent sometimes. Then I adjusted the unit up at the front to promote the water to run back and away from the door. I then contacted techline and documented this with Austin osr# 7733974796.

Arrived on site for front left burner not igniting. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the gas ports to the ignitors had manufacturing burrs in them. I cleared the burrs and reassembled the unit. I tested the burners and they all ignite as designed job complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that is not producing ice. Found icemaker failed and replaced it. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived to inspect temperature issue. I set the main oven to industry standard testing of 350F and started the cycle. The unit ignited as designed and reached an it into preheat of 404 (expected) and then declined to 312 and re-ignited. Subsequent temps were 346, 323 and missed an ignition attempt. Re-ignited at 309 and then 348, igniter a second tie and went to 367. The unit attempted to ignite again and 324 and failed. I disassembled the burner assembly and found the flame spreader/heat plate had been installed upside down, causing issues with gas flow and subsequent flame shape and ignition. I corrected the issue and tested at 350. Preheat claimed at 410 and then cycled at 324. Subsequent cycles were 354, 322, 355, 323, 356. The unit performed as designed after the burner correction and authoritatively ignited after heat up during subsequent ignitions. I verified the smaller chamber heated as designed as well. No gas leaks detected during service.

"arrived on site for dishwasher not cleaning the dishes. I inspected the unit and work area. I found fault codes F7e1 no heat, f6e6 cold water. I ran a diagnostics cycle and found the wash motor stopped working halfway through. I tested voltage to the motor and found proper voltage. I tested resistance to the motor and found 3.3 ohms, it should read from 11 to 16 ohms. I also found one of the buttons not working on the console. I inspected the console and found corrosion on the control. The unit will need a new motor and console parts

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not agitating properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does not seem to get all of her clothes wet and that her wash cycles are not coming out clean. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F8 E6 (water hazard) and F0 E3 (overload) error codes. Tested the unit and an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Started to test the unit and some of the wash cycles the customer was talking about and noticed that the extra power button was being used on those cycles that she was having problems with. Advise the customer that this is normal operation when using the extra power button due to the unit trying to maximize the soap to water ratio to get the items cleaned. I did advise her on heavier loads, water will not fill up over the clothes when the extra power button is used. Advise the customer on proper loading procedures and usage. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to unit for bottom oven light not turning off. Test unit and found and latch. Replaced latch test unit and unit test good light is turning off. Also found unit not sitting flush to cabinet and bottom oven did not have screw holding oven in. Advised customer to get with us builder to get installation people back out to correct those issues. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator with the doors not sealing properly. Upon arrival the customer stated that they found the mullion area bad. The customer used a magnet to walk down the mullion and we found a large section on both the RC and FC sides where the magnet gets out of position. Upon further inspection I found the gasket good and sealing flat. However, I found the seal very weak and allowing the door to occasionally pop open without shutting again. The customer stated they did have several occasions where frost was all over inside of the freezer. I called techline and spoke to Anthony and received SR# 7734082838. I informed Anthony of my findings. Anthony and I got on a video chat and I showed him how the magnet does not slide down the mullion smoothly and has voids in specific areas. We also checked the magnetism of the gaskets with a paper clip and found it good. While on the phone I also found the pressure from the gaskets being released where the magnetic issues were on the mullion before the areas where it seemed to be fine. This possibly indicating a lack of connection in those areas. Anthony and I could not definitively find the failure. Therefore, Anthony escalated the issue and stated myself or the customer will be reached out to for further instruction. The customer also had LED modules going out, and per the SP W11606409 all of the modules need to be replaced. I am ordering the modules and the office will reschedule once reached out to about seal issue. ; ordrng 12 W11484836 (LED Modules)s"

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator making a loud hum. Upon arrival the customer stated the sound was constant and if it stopped it would only be for a short period of time. They also stated they had just spilled something in the FC and the doors had been open for roughly 20 minutes right before arrival. Due to this I couldnt get an accurate temp reading. I was able to replicate the noise and found it coming from the FC fan. Upon further inspection I found significant ice build up on the FC evap. I gained access to the control to ohm out all thermistors. I found the RC at 6.42k, the FC at 9.48k, and the FC defrost at 49.1k. This indicates a bad FC defrost thermistor and control. The control should be reading the defrost thermistor as way to cold and should be defrosting, but it is not. Therefore, the control is faulty. The defrost harness is still under our warranty. I am ordering the control and will return with the harness as well to replace. I advised the customer on letting the unit thaw at least 48 hours prior to service and to lay towels down. "Arrived onsite for refrigerator with dispenser issues along with all LEDs not working and the door chime going off every so often. Upon inspection I found the deli drawer do I submerged in water and corroded to the point of no return also the harness connected to it came apart pictures for all damages; ordrng 1 W10815674 (Gasket, Pantry) and 1 WPW10677119 (Pan con) and 1 W10846057 (GASKET-FIP) and 1 W11122874 (Ice door)"

Arrived onsite for a cooktop that when the RF burner is turned on the RR burner heats also. I found a constant 120VAC at the rear element block for the RR burner when both right switches were off. I found the switch for the RR heater stuck closed between L2 and H2. The switch needs to be replaced. The customer also stated the RF element didnt seem to get as hot as it use to and I explained that it could have been because the rear heater was causing extra amp draw making the switch cycle prematurely but I will return with an extra switch just in case. Arrived onsite for ICE MACHINE WORKING BUT MAKES VERY LITTLE ICE. Upon arrival test unit and unit is operating as designed. Found that the unit is pushed to far back into the cabinet and the door will not close completely also keeping interior light on. There was too much warm air entering the unit and causing ice to melt quickly. Customer will allow sufficient time to harvest ice. He will monitor the unit and have us come back on Wednesday July 20th to for follow up. Office to reschedule for Wednesday July 20

"Arrived onsite for washer that will no longer operate. Upon inspection I found code stored F9E1, F8E3, F8E6 and f5e3. I found that unit would not let me test it at all it would just flash f5e3 for the lid switch . I replaced the lid switch and the the unit would not agitate but not drain and spin and the lid would not open so replace the control ant tested in component activation mode the lid lock function and it passed the I attempted to activate the drain pump and found that it would not activate. I then replaced the drain pump but after replacing the old pump I found that the drain pump,harness was separated at the connector in a way the you wouldnt notice if you are not looking at it directly. I repaired the connector and tested the unit in diag mod and in wash with sheets in the washer and found that the unit operated as designed both those times. Job complete no leaks."

"Arrived to inspect cooling issue in FC. I found the evaporator plugged with frost at the intake ports, along the sides and at the top of the evaporator assembly, but the was minimal frost in the core area of the evaporator. I tested the defrost system during removing the frost and it worked within service test mode. The thermistors were within range and after removing the retainers in the plugs at the control, I was able to verify 1.55VDC and increased to 1.8VDC after the compressor engaged. I removed and replaced the HV control and tested. The chassis required squaring and the FC door was barely making contact with the chassis, with the drawers empty and I corrected. No leaks observed during service.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling properly. Upon inspection I found that there was a thick layer of lint and dust covering the condenser. I cleaned the condenser see pix. And advised the customer that they should see better temps in the refrigerator now.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator with a stuck water filter. Upon inspection I found that the filter was stuck as described. I removed the stuck filter and replace it with a new one that the cx had. And tested the unit and found unit operating as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived to inspect detergent not being dissolved. I entered service test mode and found 4-3 and 7-1 codes stored. I tested the unit and the circulation pump did not engage and I verified line VAC at the connector. I removed and replaced the circulation pump and tested. All functions returned to the unit and it operated as designed. No leaks observed during service. Sump

Arrived to inspect washer not spinning. I found no stored error codes and the unit operated as designed through all test modes. Discussion with the CX revealed they had an issue with a specific load and I advised them the unit is in working order and to go ahead and attempt use. No leaks observed during service. Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. Upon inspection I found that the evap fan was unplugged causing the unit not to have airflow so temp would not get down to operating temperatures. I plugged the fan back in and tested unit and found a good frost pattern developing and the fan running. I performed a temp test before leaving and found that the temps where falling steady. I also leveled the unit and advised cx to wait about 24hrs for fridge to get to its desired temperature since it was starting from scratch.Job complete.

Arrived onsite for washer that is making a knocking sound when in use. Upon inspection I found that the unit operating as designed in diagnostics mode several times and I heard no such noise. I inspected the suspension and found them to be good. I inspected the drive assembly and found that to be good as well. Tested one last time and unit operating as designed job complete

Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered part. I found the wiring had burnt the harness and should be replaced. Will contact the CX on Monday to discuss. ; saved tckt

"Arrived to inspect freezing in RC. I found the RC temp at 22F and the FC was also 22F. I found the damper was stuck open and would not close. There was no voltage sent to the damper when tested at the plug. In service mode there were no errors shown and the damper would move to closed and open in the first and second parts, as designed.
