"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not heating/drying. Upon further inspection, I found the heating element shorted out/burnt (photo). Also found the door falling down when opening at approximately four to six inches. I found the right door hinge friction pad was missing. I removed and replaced the element and installed a pad from my van stock (WP8268961) and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed and the door is staying open as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Dance out for a refrigerator that is tripping the breaker. Inspected unit and work area. Found the unit completely dead upon arrival. The customer advised that there soon as the unit is plugged in, it tripped the breaker. Checked all wiring for any grounded, wires or failed components. Cannot find any. I took off the ground wire off the power plug from the unit and plug the unit in. Found the unit working and operating as designed without tripping the breaker. I called Whirlpool tech line and spoke to Ed SR# 7738116047. Advised that the only two things that would cause the unit to do that would be the control or with the GFCI breaker. Advised that since the ground wire was removed from the backside of the cabinet that they could not be with the control as they would still trip the breaker and that as long as the unit is working right now, the issue is fine. Advised if issue comes back, the customer will need to update their refrigerator to a standard outlet. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived to inspect power loss. The customer advised the issue was intermittent, but has increased in frequency greatly, in the last few weeks. Service mode showed F6E4 stored and I cleared for service and testing. I found during service test mode operations, if the microwave door was opened, it would trigger, but not save, an F4E1. After triggered, the unit would not run any accessible tests. Further inspection revealed the lower spacers on each side of the frame had been removed, causing the unit to sit on the lower air guide (not designed or the units weight) and also the lower front vent. This was causing the machine to lean backwards and had damaged the microwave interlocks, creating odd errors. The lower metal trim for the vent area was missing as well. Customer has made favorites to use and it has not helped with the issue. We go back out with a moisture sensor.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not finishing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Around the unit three diagnostics and found an F6 E3 (ACU cannot hear MCU), F7 EA (motor phase lost), F7 E3 (basket engaged during the wash), and F7 E8 (toro drive module over temperature) error codes. I just the unit in manual diagnostics attempting to agitate or spin and found the unit buzzing, but would not agitate or spin. Checked underneath and found the slider, completely intact and no evidence of any rubbing going on underneath. Check the motor for resistance and found the motor had proper resistance. Spun the basket by hand, and found no abnormality. Checked resistance through the shifter and the motor from the control and found proper resistance. Per the text you the unit advised to replace the control. Replaced the control and test of the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

"WRS321SDHZ08 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. I found the unit as cooling, but it had fully frozen the evaporator. In service test mode, the defrost system worked as expected, but the defrost thermistor showed an open load. I steamed out the frost/ice and found the thermistor read correctly and after reseating the plug,the issue was resolved and the control then showed the thermistor in circuit. I found the connector for the defrost heater had separated due to excessive ice,but was still making contact, but was damaged. The heater sent out and shown in the BOM is of a different type that does not have the connector. I will confer with tech support and determine the issue with the different wiring. No leaks observed during service. ; O-emld tckt"

Ran unit empty and with clothes and did not make noise again. Put unit back in place and ran again. Noise started again for approximately 1-2 minutes then went away during a 30 minute cycle. Called tech line due to intermittent issues. Spoke to Nate SR#7738122611. Tech stated a very intermittent noise will be difficult to address, more so, if it not inhibiting the functionality of the unit it may be seen as a cosmetic issue. Only recommendation was if symptoms persist it possible to try Dryer Foam tape wp3191239. Between the cabinet to reduce vibrations. Customer will monitor"
