"Arrived onsite for SAFTEY CALL -Unit Spark-one of the burners shorted out and the connector is melted, another burner sparked, everything is melted nothing is lighting up or coming on The problem was in one of the small burners the one in front of the control board and the other one behind it is the one that melts. Upon arrival inspected unit. Find left rear burner element was grounding out causing sparks. The front right socket was burnt. Need to replace harness, rear left burner, and front right burner. Arrived on site for refrigerator with incorrect door positioning and no icemaker. Upon arrival confirm complaint customer also stated that they had a leak coming from the fill line at the connection on the wall. Found that a would be needed for a fill line connection as it is the cut off hose leaking not the actual fridge itself. I was able to reposition doors to open to customers request inside and instructed them there the icemaker is not covered under warranty and of 157.73(part)224.75()=414.03 for kit (WPW10715709). Customer icemaker at time of service. Insured after reshaping door gaskets that unit is now sealing as designed. Call complete

"Arrived to inspect no power after intense vibration. I entered service test mode and found F7E7, F6E3, F7EA and F7E9 codes stored and cleared. Attempted shifter activation yielded the slightest audible click and slow agitate did not occur when activated. Spin slow speed actuated the shifter, but there was no motor movement. I inspected under the unit and found the blue wire of the three for the motor had came out of the plug assy and caused the issue. I corrected the plug issue and tested. The unit had full operation and all functions were present. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced the power supply, led driver and crisper drawer control boards and sealed the drain tube assembly. The crisper drawer ui well had water within it and I removed it, ensuring the wiring was intact. I sealed the ui with silicone when reinstalling into the crisper drawer. I squared and leveled the chassis and corrected door lean. The unit cooled and operated as designed. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived to inspect water constantly running. I found sediment within the inlet of the cold side and flushed both hot and cold lines thoroughly. I the CX for the valve and installed. I tested the unit and it operated as designed. No leaks observed during service. I applied a senior in negotiating with the CX.

Arrived on site for a wall oven that will not hear any elements. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that he had just bought in this unit and had it installed within the last week and the unit has not worked since they bought it. He has tried both upper and lower ovens to no avail. Confirmed the customers complaint and removed the top cover to gain access to the main control. Checked voltage going into the unit and found 120 V going to the line one side on pin connector J8 to chassis ground. I only found 23.2 vaults going to line two to ground on pin connector K3 to chassis ground. Spoke to SW and also checked the neutral side to chassis ground off of pin connector P7. Found 120 V on pin 4. Advised customer that he either has an electrical issue with the unit for the unit is miss wired and is not sending proper voltage to the unit. Advise customer hell need an to fix his power supply. Call complete.

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with hi temps in fridge of around 60f. Poor airflow from freezer. Removed evap cover and found no ice obstruction and everything operating as designed found manual baffle set to highest freezer setting causing poor airflow. Instructed customer on the primary issue and tested with baffle open and temps returned from 55f to 35f in fresh food section at inlet channel while on site.

"Arrived on site for a wall oven getting an F6E1 error code for upper oven over temp. Upon arrival the customer stated that the issue is intermittent. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F6E1. I gained access to the back of the unit and ohmd out all components. I found the elements, sensor, and thermostat good. I then gained access to the control and found the relays good. The failure indicates a possible control failure per the tech sheet. I installed the new control and then preheat the oven to 350?F. I found the oven now working as designed.

I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 7733673177. He had me send him some photos of the interior damage and concluded that this was a safety hazard and was . "Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling properly and making an abnormal noise. Upon arrival the customer stated that he heard a buzzing sound in the top of the RC for a while and it eventually stopped. He also found several LED modules out. Upon arrival I also found the customer had removed the fascia assembly from the IB. I checked temps and found the FC at 15?F and the RC at 45?F. I then put the unit into diagnostics mode and found the FC fan running, but could not hear the RC fan running. Upon further inspection I found both the FC and RC evaps covered in ice. I gained access to the control and ohmd out all thermistors. The RC thermistor read 8.02k, the FC read 15.37k, and the RC evap read 19.4K. Considering the ice build up these are all roughly accurate. I then put the unit back into diagnostics and ran test 3 on step 4 and checked voltage to the RC fan motor. I found a good 14VDC. This indicates a bad main control not reading the thermistors correctly and RC fan motor. I then tested the LEDs and found the FC LED bad. In order to repair the unit it will need a new FC LED, control, and fan harness. "Arrived to inspect leak. I found the diverter valve seal had failed and the unit will require a replacement sump assy. The harness had light corrosion, but was intact. The pump resumed operation and the leak was corrected, however, the leak had damaged the control by shorting out at the diverter valve assembly and could not have been foreseen prior to replacing the pump. The unit had an audible grumble from the bearings and I found oil within the rotor hub, denoting early seal failure. The gear case and rotor replacement will be required due to a dent in the inner hub. I discussed other issues the CX was having and determined it is due to over-detergenting, creating foam within the unit and garment floating, which can contribute to failed spin (water extraction,) garment tearing and gear case seal failure. I advised the CX on type and amounts of detergent and other products, leaving a line on their current detergent and also advised to not use premeasured packs, aka pods. I disassembled the right upper hinge and placed grease on the hinge parts and reassembled. The door continued to make the noise but not as bad. The unit has door trim pieces that are weighing down on the door causing the hinge to badly rub and wear out. Arrived on site for a refrigerator with the LEDs out or flickering. Per the service pointer W11606409 I replaced all LED modules. The unit then began working as designed. Call complete.

Disassembled unit and found heat shield on then fan rattling, addressed that issue and also found a screw in the blower fan blades that could have been causing some noises. Arrived on site for refrigerator leaking. Found icemaker working and filling properly. Found drain tube clogged up and causing the unit to leak inside and freeze up. I cleared the ice that had build up and cleaned the drain port. Unit is draining properly now and should no leak any more.

"Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered part. I entered service test mode and found F7E5, F8E3 stored in memory. I tested within manual mode and found the issue as described in prior service notes. I inspected the lower harness area and found the drain pump wires badly pinched within the pumps side harness retainer and tugging the harness away from the shifter and capacitor. I freed the wiring and tested the capacitor, verifying 46.46uf. I re-tested the unit and could not recreate the issue and then calibrated. Through multiple manual and automatic service test modes, the issue did not show back up. I tested the unit within CX mode and it filled and sensed as designed. After it filled to the proper level and started agitating, I interrupted it and then went to drain and spin and the unit worked as designed. I had the CX add a load of towels and it sensed/filled and agitated as designed. I attribute the prior failure to the wiring harness issue that I corrected. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived to inspect no cool. I found the compressor only drew .32 amps and there was very little heat within the condenser, it initially got up to 90F for a few moments and then cooled to just above room temperature. Per service notes, I contacted trade partners and advised of my findings. After giving the information for failed sealed system, the representative said they could not help and I would need to contact the tech line. I contacted tech line, tech Steve and advised of my findings. Verified sealed system failure, SR# 7733669109. Contacted trade partner team a second tie and spoke with Kim. SR# 7733669344. Unit is being sent for review and the CX will be contacted. No water connections to unit."

Arrived onsite for stand alone refrigerator not cooling . Upon arrival inspected unit. Found cabinet 60 degrees. Inspected evaporator and no frost pattern. Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is not responding to user input. Found unit drain pump running with no response in control. Advised customer that if a cycle is interrupted and the lid is left open for 10 mins or more this will occur. Reset control and all is working properly at this time. Arrived onsite for door cant not being horizontally even and flush. Explored using a shim to make a difference. Verified unit is flush and level within design spec and provided customer instruct on questions about design and leveling and finish. Advised on use of shim to adjust flush and fit.

Arrived on site for a washer that wont spin or agitate. Inspected unit and work area. Attempted to run the unit through a manual spin cycle and found the motor turning but nothing moving. Checked underneath the washer and found that the belt had become detached from the cam due to the bolts on the bottom falling off and causing the cam to drop. Replaced the cam and nut underneath the washer and reassembled the unit. Tested the unit in manual spin and agitation testing. The unit ran as designed. Ran the unit thrown auto test in the unit ran as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with heat failure. Determined failure to be in the hi voltage circuit. Replaced mag cap and diode to repair. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair. All checks good.

Arrived onsite and found left spring hook had become dislodged from hinge. All hardware is in good working condition but excessive grease is allowing unit to slip under stress. Reduced grease at hinge hook. And fastened to protect against occasional slipping from weight on door. Advised customer on repair. All checks good. Unit is now operating as designed.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making an odd sound when it spends. Inspected unit and work area. You can confirm the customer complained and found the basket spinning and skipping when placed into the spin portion of the cycle. Attempted to wiggle the basket by hand and found it wobbling from side to side. Removed the agitator and found the hub stripped out. Replaced the hub and tested the unit. The unit began to spin and operate as designed.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine thats not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit does work on normal wash loads. However, when she is running down blanket comforters, rugs, or heavy towel loads, sometimes the unit seems to take three hours to finish the cycle. I did inform the customer that that is not recommended by the manufacturer due to creating heavy duty loads and the machine having a hard time completing said cycles. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F2 E1 (UI stuck key) error code. I ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. I ran the unit through manual testing and the unit ran as designed. Advise the customer that this is normal operation and that the unit is working as it should. Call complete."

Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling on rc side. Upon arrival confirmed issue. Found upon arrival that fc evap coil was evenly frosted over with no failures in heater or bimetal stat. Also found both rc and rc thermistors showing correct temps in diagnostics check and found proper v power supply controlling dampener. Found E6 error indicating multiple dampener failures. After customer approval I installed part and instructed them to give unit 24 hrs to stabilize temps. Call complete

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating and timer not advancing. Upon further inspection, I tested the timer and found it bad. I inspected the element and found it burnt and not making contact. I removed and replaced the timer and element and retested and unit is operating as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with items freezing in the fresh foods section. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=9 degrees and RC=39 degrees. I found food items blocking the RC thermistor housing and not allow airflow to it. Checked airflow from damper and return and both were good and not blocked with ice. I tested the damper in diagnostics and it was good. Tested thermistors in FC & RC and both are good. Made recommendations to the customer for food item placement. Unit is operating as designed and no water leaks observed during service. Job completed."
