"Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling on either side. Upon arrival the customer stated they could hear a click and rattle every few minutes. I unplugged the unit and then plugged it back in to jumpstart the compressor. I could hear the start device and compressor overloading. Due to this I installed a new start device and cap. I tested the unit and found the same issue occurring. I then checked voltage to the compressor and found a good 120VAC I also measure amp draw to the compressor and found it would jump to 19 amps, drop to 8 amps for a few seconds, and then cut out. This indicates a faulty compressor and SS. I am ordering all SS parts. Upon arrival confirmed complaint and found that the front left upper rack will mount broken and the right and left side rails were also bent not lower unit to sit properly in the dishwasher. Also found door seal failing as well as motor leaking and seized up even though it was getting 120 V it was stuck and not operating. At time of completing diagnosis customer stated that with the amount of parts needed they wanted to go ahead and shop around for a new unit versus making any repairs. Upon arrival inside all needed parts reassembled and tested unit and with customer supervision found that the two top big burner still not working (per how customer was instructed from lowes salesman) as designed. called techline and spoke with Austin sr#77333184863. Austin stated burners turning on without pressure plate being activated is normal opera but for best use the pressure plate would need to be depressed. Techline instructed me to refer customer to part instructions sheet (W11390126). Customer expressed dissatisfaction from whirlpools claim wants wants to contact whirlpool for further assistance. "Arrived on site to inspect washer not working. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unplugged. Plugged it in and immediately the drain pump came on, but it was not draining the water. I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics, and it failed. I tried one more time and this time it was successful. I found it showing error code F9E1-drain pump failure. I tested the pump at the control and found it good. Attempted to drain the water from the unit and it failed. When I went to continue with testing the unit shut down. I tilted the unit back and using my shop vac, I removed the water from the unit and inspected the drain pump. I find metal pins inside the pump. Cleared the debris and reinstalled the pump. I removed and replaced the main control and retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I disassembled the FC section and found ice at the bottom of the FC evap,cover. Using my steamer, I removed the ice and removed the evap cover and found ice on the evaporator; a sign of the unit not defrosting. I tested defrost mode in test 38 and the unit began to defrost. I removed the ice and removed and replaced the evap motor harness and tested unit in test #4. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I did further diagnostics and removed the front cover to access the control and while on diagnostics I proved to to the element harness and was sending 124 volts. I then proceeded to test element on ohms and it was an open circuit. I quoted CX parts $59.02, service call & labor $174.75 & tax $19.29 total $253.06, CX accepted, i then proceeded with repairs and reassembled unit and tested let run on diagnostics and working as designed and showed correct amps. I tested the unit manually and he reservoir was full at the end of testing. Ran one more automatic test and the unit operated as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker clumping. Upon further inspection, I found the ice in the bin clumped together (photo). I removed the ice maker and tested the fill tube and found the tube not reaching its full potential in filling cutting the fill short. I retested the fill tube and had the water dispenser into a cup and then filled the tray and found the water is not filling the tray completely. Also found the fill tube heater harness cracked/broken. I found ice in the bottom the bin that appeared to have melted then froze again causing it to be clumped. I tested the ice dispenser door and found moisture where the door seals caused by the ice door not sealing properly. I am ordering the UI and will return with the ice door and fill tube/heater and scheduled return service for 03/18/22. No water leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 W11099702 (UI)"
