The customer attempted to show me how the unit would not turn on and the unit turned on showing a loss of power. She started a cycle on this unit started to spin, fill, and agitate. I ran the unit three diagnostics and found an F2 E1 (UI stuck key) error code. Around the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. Had the customer try the unit two more times with the unit starting a cycle each time. Did advise the customer that it is possible they just had a power outage or a loss of power at the outlet. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making sound as it spins. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advise the sound had seemingly gone away, but it tends to be worse with heavy duty cycles. Test of the unit and could not get this sound replicate. Gained access underneath and found that the slider was partially Warren potentially causing the issue. Replaced the slider and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. The customer advised of the unit does cool but he has temperature concerns with the unit as some of his milk has been expiring. Took temperatures on the refrigerator and freezer and found the refrigerator at 33?F. Check the freezer and found it at 0?F. The customer advised that hes been using it meat temperature probe to check temperature of the refrigerator and it has not gotten below 40? even set at 33?F. Did advise the customer that the issue may be with his temperature probe not being submerged into water or anything showing product temperature. Found no evidence of any defrost issues of any kind. Did advise the customer of the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

The customer advised the unit does wash and clean their dishes, but that the dishes end up with at the end of the cycle. They also advised that sometimes the user interface does not accept their selections. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F9 E1 (slow drain), F9 E2 (drain pump electrical problem), and F6 E4 (float switch open) error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. The customer advised that the unit has always been empty of water and has not left water inside of the dishwasher but that the heater just doesnt seem to work as well as it used to. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7736260021. He advised that the issue was with over sudsing, and that this was a Usen care issue. He advised that because the unit does complete the water cycles and just does not dry. Does not mean that the unit had a problem. Advise with the float switch and draining error codes that that would be a clear indicator of oversuds. He advised to have a customer run a clean dishwasher cycle and to switch to liquid soap. Arrived on site for refrigerator not dispensing water. On inspection found the water reservoir frozen. I took a heat gun to unfreeze the reservoir. Water started to flow after about 5 minutes after the use of the heat gun. I sealed the evap cover that the reservoir sits next to. The rc evap thermistor tested good. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks detected.

"Arrived onsite for MW not working. On install the display was blank and the keys had no response when touched. I pulled power for 20 seconds and power came back on to the unit. I tan a cup water for 2 mins, then ran it for 2.5 minutes it was working as designed. Told customer to call if it has issues again. It never failed while I was there."

"WDF520PADM9 Arrived to inspect drying. The customer had an end-of-first-year inspection and the report showed deficiencies of the unit. The first listed deficiency was the lower rack wheels loose. The inspection showed listed them as angled and possibly loose, but the angle of the wheels is part of the design of all four and I verified them operational. The report showed water bending at the end of a cycle and I tested within service test mode. All functions were present and the unit filled, circulated, dispensed, heated with the correct amp draw and cycled as designed. The customer does not regularly use the machine and they do not use or need rinse agent and I suspect that was the cause of the mention within the report. The only deficiency I found was the RO drinking waters rejection water drain line was co-located with the dishwasher drain and I advised the customer that is not advised by the manufacturer and to ensure the disposal does not clog, or have the drain line moved, which is the preferred method. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was leaking and did not spin out rugs. I examined the unit and found no error codes present. I ran a clean washer cycle and found a large amount of suds, and a leak coming from the door as well. Found debris sandwiched between the door and bellow, causing the leak. I cleaned the debris and retested and found no further leaks. Found no other issues with unit. Rugs cause unit to bang around and stop the cycle due to being heavy and unable to distribute the load equally, leading to off balance issues causing unit to stop. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not producing ice. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=8 degrees. When I went to remove the ice bin, I found it full of ice. The customer advised that the dispenser wont dispense the ice. I tested the dispenser and found the motor functioning but no ice being dispensed. I pulled the ice bin out and found a large block of ice in the bin (photo). I removed the ice maker and found the fill tube chute clogged with ice and when the ice maker fills with water, the water is overflowing the chute into the ice bin. I cleaned the ice maker and ice bin and when I went to clean the ice box I found the fill tube dripping with water. I removed and replaced the dual valve and tested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

Arrived onsite and replaced RC evap and compressor with dye drier and access port. No other issues with drain pan alignment or backflow. Pulled vacuum and charged with 5.5 oz of r134a refrigerant. Verified proper operation with compressor turn over and fan function. Advised customer to observe proper cooling for a few days to establish ongoing function before resuming normal use.

On further inspection found that the heating element was not getting hot. There was voltage to the heating element. Replaced the heating element and retested the unit, the heating element was hot after diagnostics was finished. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks were detected during service

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. On inspection the freezer was 48? and the RC was 59?. I gain access to the back of the unit and the compressor came on for 20 seconds and went off. Tested had voltage to the start device. I replaced the capacitor and the start device and retested the unit. The compressor came on immediate after i plugged the unit back in. I watched the freezer cool down to 10? before I left. Told the customer not to but anythings that were not in the refrigerator until tomorrow. No water leaks detected during service.

Ring bearing was out of place. Secured ring to drum and test unit. Unit is operating correctly. Job complete

"Arrived on site for cooling issue and water leaking. Found water on freezer floor due to a blocked drain,per customer unit stops cooling customer had to power cycle unit to get unit to start cooling. Diagnosed a clogged drain and a defective main control. Remove lower panel and confirm that thermal fuse is good, spoke with homeowner control board is no longer able to be ordered as a new part. "Arrived on site to diagnose GE dishwasher that was not responding to commands and dead. On arrival I tested the console and found no response at all from the console. I removed the control and found its status light solid, not blinking to indicate CSM tripped. I cycled the breaker for the unit several times to reset the console. Once the console came on I ran through diagnostic. I found all items working correctly, control blinking the correct light. I tried to update the software on the unit, but software update was error in out after 5 seconds. Tried several times to restart but update would not take. Advised customer of findings. Customer would rather replace the unit than replace the electronics and update software. No further action taken, customer will use unit as is. Repair completed."

I tested the unit and while testing, I removed the top panel and I found a large amount of lint built up at the back of the unit due to the vent tube not being attached properly (photo). There is a block vent on the back of the unit. I found the unit is heating and operating as designed.

"MVW7232HW0 Arrived to inspect washer not operating. I found the issue was the unit would not complete cycles and entering service test mode, F2E1, F0E3 and F2E2 stored in memory and cleared for testing. I found the gear case had lost a large amount of oil, flinging it around the inside of the cabinet and onto various motor-area parts. I removed and replaced the gear case and slider and re-calibrated. The unit operated as designed, no leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven door latch issues. Upon further inspection, the customer advised they performed a self clean cycle on the unit and once it was completed, the door latch continued to cycle open and closed and would not stop. I found the unit door would open and the door latch was broken as I could move the latch back and forth when it should be locked into place by the motor. I removed the top panel to gain access to the latch and found the latch arm bent and the spring had fallen off its mount.

"Arrived on site to inspect upright freezer not cooling properly. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit door was left open for a brief period of time and it took a while for the unit to cool again. Also, they noticed ice building up at the bottom of the door. I checked the bottom of the door and found it badly warped (photo) but the unit is cooling inside. I advised the customer that the door and gasket would need to be replaced

Arrived onsite for refrigerator freezing items on the top shelf. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found unit cooling properly. Noticed that upper shelf was raised and close to diffuser. Called tech line for assistance. Spoke to Ed SR#7736263616. Ran diagnostics check and found no errors. Checked compressor amperage and was 0.9amps. Unit seemed to be running efficiently. Tech line recommended avoid putting items in close proximity to the air defuser. Job complete

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was leaking when in use. I tested the unit via a clean washer cycle. I confirmed a large amount of suds buildup, which is causing the unit to leak from the vent in the rear. Bellow is good and not leaking, and no drops were found anywhere other than the vent. Advised customer to clean unit and avoid using excessive detergent. No other failures found. Repair completed."

"WSR57R18DM05 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. The customer said the unit operated within their expectations since installation, but within the last few weeks the issue of being too warm (50s) had started. Mid-chamber, the unit was at 50?F. Exposing the evaporator, I found the low side return appeared to be oily at the joint and will required a evaporator, compressor, dye drier and service port. Unit is R600a and full copper. No water connections to unit. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is leaking water into the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit seems to be leaking water from around the door seal between the ice door and the icebox heater facia. Did confirm the customers complaint And found the gaskets for the ice door not sealing properly. Tested the ice box heater, facia, and found no heat coming from the facia in use. Arrived onsite for oven door handle and glass not working. On inspection found the Handel was minor a screw and the front glass had slipped down a 1/2 inch in there is a gap on top now. Ordering a new front glass.; ordrng 1 W11176456 (Front glass) and 1 W11178521 (Name plate)

"Arrived on site for IM not working. On inspection found the thermistor is open on the old unit. I installed the new ice maker and the thermistor was open on it to. I took a look at the wires on the fc door and they were good, I then used the test button on the IM and it ran though a harvest, home position and a fill test and it all worked. I could not use the units self test to do any of the test (harvest,fill etc) on the old or new IM. Going to order a control board and another IM; ordrng 1 W11546935 (IM) and 1 W11558182 (Cntl brd)"

Arrived on site for refrigerator making intermittent humming vibration. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found no failures in fc/rc areas. Found drier as well as condenser coils making contact with different areas in of compartment. Used sound pads and adjusted lines. Found noise no longer present.
