Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is icing up. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit will get ice build up in the back of the FC roughly every 4-5 months. I checked temps and found the RC at 50?F and the FC at 30?F. I then gained access to the evaporator and found significant ice/frost build up on the evap. I used my steamer to gain access to the heater and the bi metal. I found the heater completely burned out. I jumped the timer to force a defrost cycle and found only 60VAC going to the heater at the heater. I then gained access to the timer and found the correct 120VAC coming from the timer to the heater. This indicates a faulty bi metal and heater which is allowing the unit to freeze up. I installed both parts and the unit is now working as designed. I advised the customer to leave the unit off for at least 48 hours to finish thawing the unit. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that?s taking 2 to 3 loads to dry clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does he but their clothes aren?t dry after one cycle for the most part. I ran the unit on a time dry high heat cycle and found the unit turning in heating properly. I could hear the gas valve actuator in the gas at night. Checked behind the unit and found the vent hose completely kinked and crashed. The customer stated that he did get fuel airflow out of the back. I advise the customer that due to the unit heating and tumbling, the issue would have to be with an air flow restriction. I advised the customer to replace his vent hose due to the damage sustained. I also advised the customer to run a load without the vent hose on on an hour time dry cycle to ensure the unit is drying clothes and that that would verify my ventilation issue on the unit. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not cooling in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated they had probably had a defrost issue in the refrigerator several years ago where it kind of did the same thing. Check the evaporator for the defrost issue and found no frost buildup on the evaporator and the evaporator fan running properly. Place the unit and service diagnostics and found the average temperature of the freezer in the last 6 hours at 14?F. Found the refrigerator section sitting at 46?F. Advise the customer that the issue appeared to have been a sealed system issue.

Arrived on site for a wash machine that?s not agitating. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found the unit clicking as it was trying to agitate and spinning the basket. Placed in an in service diagnostics and found an F5 E1 (lid switch fault - lid is up), F0 E4 (spin limited by water temperature), F0 E3 (overload), F3 E2 (inlet water temperature fault), and F2 E1 (UI stuck key) error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working as designed. I did advise the customer that generally speaking on these issues and ends up being a control panel related issue due to the contacts on the panel starting to short. Arrived on site for an ice machine that won?t cut ice. Inspected unit at work area. Customer advised that he had a prior company out and they could not fix the grid cutter so they were supposed to come back with the part but never did. Confirmed the customers complaint and found the green cutter completely broken on the top not allowing electricity to flow through the rig cutter. Replaced grid cutter and tested the unit. Arrived on site for refrigerator with intermittent cooling and a broken dispenser. Upon arrival I found temps in both compartments was at 39 FC and 50 rc. Also found the ice dispenser plastic chute broken from handle. Also found the cooling issue was because compressor was over heating and shutting down. Found psi lvls ranging between 0 to -10 low side and 160 to 175 high side. Couldnt find any evidence of any leaks. I recovered 6.75oz of refrigerant from system then I pulled a vacuum on the unit for 15 minutes to try and clear the contamination from system. I recharged system and found unit had stable psi lvls stabilized at 0 and 150. Informed customer to give unit 24 hrs to cool. Call complete

Arrived on site for dryer not heating. Upon arrival I confirmed unit had stable 240 connection. Upon further disassembly I found heating element improperly mounted and completely burnt up. Also found high limiter ohm readings extremely sporadic during testing. Found temp at 46 and dropping. No evidence of freezer losing temps. Called and spoke with tech line, SR7731106952. Crisper is the slowest to cool, so this is not completely abnormal. Parts are all working as designed and no failures have been observed at this time. Advised customer on making sure airflow channels are opened on shelves, this should allow cooling to be even and proper. Unplugged unit and reset. Advised customer to follow up if anything else is out of the ordinary. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for refrigerator losing cool in the RC. Upon inspection I found the RC at room temp and the FC evaporator cover had a wall of frost on it.. I accessed diagnostics and ran the defrost heater. It came on as designed. I found the defrost sensor is showing open or shorted according to diagnostics. I accessed the thermistor and found it at 10.1k ohms. I accessed the main control and found the thermistor showing open. I unplugged the harness and ohmed back. It showed open. I then plugged the harness back in and checked resistance again for the thermistor. This time it showed 7.6k ohms. I checked the thermistor again and it showed 7.6 with some of the ice melting around it. I replaced the main control JIC it was not communicating correctly. I steamed out all the ice on the evaporator and secured the thermistor. I advised the customer to monitor the unit over the next few days to ensure it restores to proper temps. No leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

Found due to updated regulations on coil burners, they do not operate at as high temperatures as previous generations of coil style burners. This is intended to reduce the risk of cooking fires and is a safety feature.

Arrived on site for pad falling off left side hinge . Replaced both friction pads . No other issues found. No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete
