On arrival customer said unit had completely stopped making ice, and they were wiping water off the freezer door gasket twice a day. I found the icebox fan surging or not engaging at all, requiring replacement. Customer also pointed out mold on ice door. Called tech line and discussed water on freezer door gasket. Tech line SR7738907436. Tech line rep says we need to install the gasket trim to puff out the door gasket to resolve that before any other action is taken. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is tripping the breaker when the defrost cycle starts. I confirmed the voltages the previous technician found but the only thing different was I did see 123VAC from the control to the heater for about two seconds at the heater connections with them disconnected before it dropped to 18VAC. The breaker did not trip with the heater disconnected. I changed WPW10675033 main control and WP12729128 heater. I tested in service step 38 again but the coil was already defrosted so it never sent voltage to the heater. I explained to the customer that it would need to go thru a defrost in a few days to know if the issue has been resolved. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont start a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. I tested the unit and confirmed that the unit would lock the door and would make some clicking sounds but would not actually start the cycle. I gained access underneath and went to remove the rotor cover. I found that something had been stuck underneath the washer which caused the cover to grind and melt onto the rotor itself. I attempted to use a crowbar, and, a flat head screwdriver to pry it off, but was unsuccessful in doing so. Due to the inability to gain access, we will need the gear case, rotor, cover shield, stater, slider, clutch, and screws. "Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that was not running and beeping. Tested unit and found F8E4 error for float switch. Found some water in the float tray, indicating unit did leak at some point. Could see residue on door gasket, and unit was also not square and level. I removed and cleaned the door gasket. I removed and leveled the unit so the door was no longer rubbing on the left side. Didn't see any other spots of leaks. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site for a wall oven. That is tripping the breaker. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise that the unit will turn on but as soon as the customer tries to heat up the oven, the oven will trip within a few minutes of heating. She advised that she has tried both upper and lower ovens. I found the breaker tripped and turned it back on. I test the unit and confirmed the customer complaint. I found that after three minutes of heating, the breaker with trip. I took an amp draw off the unit when running a second bake test and found the unit not pulling more than 16.8 A before shutting off. I found no burnt or pinched wiring or connections anywhere. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Jeremy SR# 7738910849. He advised that just on the amp draw alone, there wouldnt be anything wrong with the unit because if there was a grounding situation or anything, like that, it would drastically jump in amperage before tripping the breaker. He advised that the issue is with her electrical supply, and the GFCI may be too weak or sensitive and to get that replaced. He advised to make no repairs this time. Car complete.."

"KDTM704KPS2 Arrived to inspect leak. Service test mode had F10E2 as the only stored error code and I cleared for testing. I found the overflow tubes on both sides of the overflow pan, had been pushed outside of the pan and had dripped directly onto the floor. The interior had significant detergent residue and the customer was using high-strength pods and pre-rinsing the dishes prior to cycling within the machine. The excessive detergent, coupled with the low amount of oils was likely making a large amount of sudsing and subsequent overflow, which missed the drip pan and made it to the floor. I advised the customer with detergent type and amount for their use and also on rinse agent and set the dispenser system to A1. The leveling legs required adjustment to correct door contact with the right side of the chassis and subsequent testing revealed no other sources of leaks. The front of the machine was raised by approximately 3/8 to level and I removed and replaced the vent assembly due to the error that was stored. The door gasket required stress relief to prevent eventual gasket issues. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service. W11414073"

The customer advised that the unit just all of a sudden had all the lights showing on the control, and when he went to clear it, all the lights turned off and he has not been able to get the unit to turn on since. He did advise that the burners do work, but the rest of the unit does not. I did confirm the customers complaint and found that the control panel would not register any buttons pressed. I did verify the proper voltage and polarity to the unit. I checked all wire harnesses and found everything in place with no pinched wires or grounding anywhere. "WZF34X16DW09 Arrived to inspect noise. The customer advised it was a ticking. It was several times a second, faster than a start device click, but slower than an evaporator fan. Through service test mode, I was able to engage the sweated system and found that the cap tube was ran too close to the low side return and after a few minutes of compressor runtime, heating the lower unit area and allowing enough flex to cause the cap tube to get close enough to the other tubing and create the ticking noise. Through re-routing and applying sound pads,I was able to correct the issue. No water connections to unit. 2X W11113654."

I was going to install the receiver hinges on the unit but could not get the unit to move. Customer is going to contact the builder to have them pull the unit out to see if the installation is the issue, if not the builder will leave the unit about 4 in out for us to install the receiver hinges."

Arrived on site to test unit for ice dropping outside of bin and frost accumulation in FC. Found LH track retention screw was missing causing rack to skip over stop and prevent left side of FC door from closing properly and ice to drop to bottom base of FC. Removed ice and frost build up. I tan the diagnostics cycle and it was good until agitates cycle. It made a loud humming noise. I installed a new capacitor on the washer and retested the unit. "WRX988SIBM01 Arrived to inspect cooling issue. The customer had heard a noise a few days prior and then the temperature within the FC began to elevate, leading to melted items. I found the FC at 27 and the RC at 38. Pressures were 25 balanced,but with cool chambers, likely near the target pressure. Starting the compressor, high was at 120 and low 4. There were signs of dye around both connection points and no other dye could be found on any accessible part of the system or the evaporators. Due to information about the prior system charge and difficulties experienced by that tech, I recovered, vacuumed and then recharged. I was able to get the system down to 200 microns, but it to 30 minutes to reach that depth. Charging the system, the unit started cooling as designed and no additional dye was found. No leaks observed during service. Warranty applied to service."

Arrived onsite and called techline for repeat symptoms of the unit reverting to standby during the easy convect preheat intermittently. Called techline and spoke to Rob who advised video evidence must be submitted to send the issue for review to engineering. Collected video evidence and called Austin with techline and submitted video evidence of the failure for review. Austin said the issue had been sent for review to engineering. "Arrived on site to inspect washer with power but wont start. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that when they attempt to start a load of laundry, the encoder lights will continuously scroll and the unit wont start. I was able to get the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found F2E3-ACU not matching to HMI. I cleared the code and continued with testing and the unit filled then stopped and the encoder lights began to scroll then the unit shut down. I tested the lid lock and found it good. The diagnostics LED on the control is flashing as designed. I disconnected the HMI (UI) from the main control and cycled power to the unit for approximately 3 minutes and then cycled power back on and attempted to retested and the unit continued to fail and would not go into diagnostics again. I am ordering the HMI (UI), encoder control, CNOTE-PLACE ON CANCELLATION LIST and will return with all prescreened parts. Returning tech to replace the HMI (UI) first and test before replacing other parts. Arrived onsite for dishwasher not responding to the touch. On inspection I could not get the unit to go into diagnostics mode. I tried several times with no luck. I was able to determine the tubing near the compressor and the lower cardboard air guide were the sources of the noise described by the customer and presented in a video. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is making unusual noises. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me a video of what was happening and it sounded like an evaporator fan hitting ice. As I removed the products from the freezer, I did not notice any evidence of a defrost issue, but noticed water Residue in icicles, forming on the left-hand side of the freezer section dripping from the fill tube. I gained access to the evaporator and evaporator fan and found water had collected up at the evaporator fan from the ice maker filled tube and was causing the evaporator fan to hit ice up at the top. See photos. I cleared out the ice and tested the icemaker. I found during the fill portion of the cycle that there is a steady stream dripping down the backside of the freezer liner as it was filling. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Jeremy SR# 7738906279. He had me send him some photos of the issue and advised that the fill tube was not a serviceable part. He advised that Whirlpool would be in contact with myself or the customer depending on the next steps. Call complete."

On arrival attempted to replace Washplate. Found bolt head is stripped. Will need to be cut and removed.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher leaking. On inspection started diagnostic and immediately there was water on the floor below the pump. Gain access to the pump and found hole in the recirculating pump housing. Installed new pump and retested the unit. The unit passed diagnostic with no issues. It looks like the unit was dropped on the front right. The over flow drip pan is hard to get out or in. The installer had to make a new hole for the toe plate on the right side. No water leaks detected after new pump.

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Installed the strike on the lid and tested it. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, I found the customer had started a load of laundry with a sheet and a few towels and the customer had stopped the cycle due to the noise beginning. I restarted the cycle and immediately heard the noise which was the pulley rubbing the shield. While the unit was in the cycle, I looked underneath the unit and found the pulley shield sitting on the floor. I drained the water from the unit and tilted the unit back to find the front leveling feet all the way up and the bottom of the cabinet sitting on the floor and the rear leveling feet were down approximately one inch raising the back portion of the unit off the floor. I lowered the leveling feet and then adjusted the unit to completely level the unit and retested by filling the tub assembly with water and watching the tub lower. I found with the articles in the tub and the tub full of water approximately half way, where it was when I arrived, the tub now site approved half an inch from the floor. Retested and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. No charge as this issue should have been corrected at the previous service call."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not making enough ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit seems to only make about 20 to 30 cubes a day and is not keeping up with her and her husband. She showed me the ice container that was Filled with about 12 cubes of ice and advised thats pretty much work. The ice will be even if they leave it overnight. I tested the icemaker and found the icemaker harvest and bill. I went ahead and replaced the icemaker due to ongoing issues but did advise the customer that this icemaker will only produce 52 to 66 cubes per day. However, I did explain that less than that was most likely an issue with the icemaker itself. I tested the new icemaker and found the unit working an operating as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to inspect unit for not operating. Upon closer inspection customer had dial to a non functioning position as well as not pressing buttons hard enough. Informed customer to have unit set on specific cycle and make sure button is pressed hard enough to allow display lights to illuminate across then the unit will start. Job complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator with water in RC. Examined unit and found drain frozen / debris in drain. Cleared out ice and clogging and verified drainage. Unit working aa designed. Repair completed.

Arrived on site for dryer not turning on. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found no voltage from outlet to dryer. Found breaker off(customer has stated an ac tech had been missing with breakers to ac and possible that dryer had accidentally turned off) restored power and found dryer working as designed. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they ran a load twice and then it never finished out the cycle. They advised they had to manually put it into a drain and spin in order to get it to spin out. Jeff is that since then, she has run a few other loads and has not had the same issue. Around the unit through diagnostics and found an F2 E1 (UI stuck key), F0 E3 (overload), and F0 E5 (off balance load) error codes. I tested the suspension and found the suspension was good. I checked the basket and found the basket was properly secured to the driveshaft. I checked underneath the washer and found no evidence of any oil leaks or issues underneath. I ran the unit through an auto task in the unit ran as designed. I ran through other general testing and could not get the unit to make any faults. I did ask by the customer that the issue seem to be with their flooring as the unit is on a couple pieces of plywood with the carpet over the top. I did advise the customer that they may be having off-balance issues due to on solid ground. The washer sits on. The unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete."
