Arrived on site for microwave vent light burning out frequently. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the bulb burnt out. I tested voltage to the bulb while the vent light was set to off. I found 120vac. I set the unit to half and high and found no voltage change. I tested voltage to the bulb directly from the control and found the same. Arrived to inspect dryer not restarting after load complete. The CX described an issue where the dryer would not restart without letting it cool. I made an inspection of all thermistors and other thermal safety devices and removed a large amount of debris from the motor assy. I removed moderate lint from within the chassis and tested vent airflow. The venting of the home was highly restricted and I advised the CX to have it professionally cleaned. The electronic control had two clear cold solder joints and I re-soldered. Operational test with the vent off very good and the unit heated and cycled as designed.

Arrived on site for dryer not turning off and dry times being longer. I found the dryer vent full of water indicating a restriction in the exterior vent. I found the main switch timer receiving power and not rotating. I quoted the customer for the timer I installed a new timer and tested the unit. I found it working as designed. I recommend the customer have vent wizard come out and clear the exterior vent. Customer paid in full with credit card. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for a washer that still not finishing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Where in the unit for diagnostics and found an F8 E1 (low/no water detected during fill) error code again. I ran the unit through manual fill testing and found the water valves working properly. Check the drain hose installation on the unit and found the drain hose was sitting 3 feet into the stand pipe. Filled the tub up a third of the way and then attempted to drain. Found water was flowing above the drain hose as you could not hear a drain after 10 to 15 seconds. As soon as I start the drain, I found water siphoning back into the unit. Shorten the drain hose in the wall and test the unit again. The unit was working as designed. Ran through an auto test on the unit and the unit ran as designed. Advise the customer they may want to shorten their drain hose as the drain hose itself is way too long and is now sitting partially on the floor. Advise the customer they can try to run the unit as it is right now but if there are further problems to shorten that drain hose in order to allow the unit to drain properly. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a refrigerator thats not dispensing water and the customer cannot get the filter out. Inspected unit and worked area. The customer was using a genuine replacement filter that is not the specs of this unit. Customer advised that he thinks he pushed it a little too hard inside the housing assembly so it is not pulling out whenever he opens the door. Was able to remove the filter and the customer had an extra filter from every drop which is the correct filter used on this unit. Installed the filter and test of the unit. The unit began to dispense water and operate as designed with no abnormal sounds. Ran through 2 gallons of water on the unit to clean out the filter charcoal out of the filter. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a dryer that is not heating and is making weird sounds. Inspected unit and work area. Plug the unit in and test the unit. I did find the unit making a strange sound and the unit was heating but not ventilating. Checked blower wheel housing and found the blower wheel stripped due to a nail and two drillbits clogging the blower wheel housing and causing the wheel to strip. Replaced blower wheel and remove the instructions from the unit. Reassembled the unit and now the unit is working as designed. Call complete.; used 1 WP694089 (Blower Wheel) from stock

"Arrived on site for an oven that is steaming up the glass on the upper oven door. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that when she use the lower oven, the upper oven was steaming up and while it only happened one time she just wanted to make sure there wasnt an issue before her warranty ran out. I checked the gaskets and found the lower oven gasket smooshed potentially causing air seepage out of the oven while in use. Showed the customer how to re-adjust her gasket to allow the door to close fully. Tested the upper and lower oven fans in both checks good. Checked underneath the unit to make sure the air channel was not locked or concaved. All checked good. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7733144780. He advised that this can happen due to ambient air temperature, high moisture content in the food, or the gasket issue. He did advise for me to tell the customer that this is normal. The unit is not working as designed. Call complete."

He had me run through several voltage checks as well as swaps of pins on the control to see if we could replicate the issue. All voltage checks came back good and no matter what we did with swapping connectors on the main board, we could not get the unit to act right. I used the dryer test vent kit and found poor airflow for all dryers. I then went to the vent to check the temperature fluctuations for airflow and found the temp would reach 150?F, but when it dropped it would never go back up. I then tried turning off and unplugging the unit. I found the unit not heating at all now. I checked voltage at the wall and terminal block and both were good. I then ohmd out all sensors, thermistors, the element, and the fuse. All checked good. I found voltage dropping from the control indicating a bad control. "Arrived for drying issues. Due to what was found with the washer, the CX elected to cancel the 2nd appliance call on the dryer.

"Arrived to inspect no lights. I found the issue was the upper LED module had one led out and the rest were dim. I removed the module and rechecked the wiring and the issue was resolved when I plugged it back in. I tested multiple times and could not recreate the issue until the module was allowed to sit for a few minutes and cool down. Voltage to the module was 24.7 VDC with all LEDs working and 29.52 VDC with one and the others dim. The no-load VDC was 30.2. Due to the LED driver circuit voltage being loosely regulated and current regulated and temperature of the module assembly affecting its behavior, I suspect the module is the cause of the issue and we will need to return when the module arrives. "Arrived on site to inspect washer not agitating or spinning. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F7E1. Cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit filled with water and the lid latch locked the lid, but the unit failed to agitate or spin. I could hear the motor windings humming.. I removed and replaced the capacitor and calibrat3d the unit. Retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to check no lights, the CX presented a video that showed the crisper UI not working, the interior lights not working correctly and other functions very delayed. I checked the crisper door wiring harness and found it in good condition, i also inspected all connections and boards and found no problems. I performed a thermography and tested all loads and there was no excessive temperature on the boards. I inspected the ice maker housing after insuring correct mounting, found the fan running to slowly and the the ice maker door gasket barely contacting. The UI had signs of moisture of splashing and I advised the CX to not add ice to cups that have liquid in it. "Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered part. I removed and replaced the valve solenoid and tested. Through thermography, refrigerant switching could be verified to both evaporators and shut off as well. I sealed a large gap in the drain tube and removed a piece of foam that nearly blocked it. I verified the crisper drawer harness was intact and in serviceable condition, along with the connections to the associated control. I squared the chassis and matched the doors. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived to inspect unit not staying on. The CX had the cord attached and after verifying both line VAC legs and connections, I tested. The unit would power on for about 5 seconds and shut off, unable to be started again. Service test mode revealed an F3E3. I removed the front panel and accessed the element area and found the inlet thermistor clearly unseated. I corrected the issue and tested. The unit heated and cycled as designed and I cleared the code from memory. Operational test good."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is leaking from one of the components installed from the previous visit of another company. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the water leaked so bad that it caused cabinetry damage and wall damage to their entire kitchen and had all the cabinets ripped out prior to my arrival. He showed me where the water was leaking from and showed that it was from the drain pump. Found the drain pump not installed properly and not fully seated around all edges of the wash pump motor. Replaced the drain pump and was unable to test the unit as the customer does not have any wire, water, or drain hook ups at this juncture due to remodeling of his kitchen. Did ensure that the drain pump had a tight seal. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite range doors scratch, and not closing. Upon arrival the customer states it is the bottom drawer and not the oven door. He explained that the inside base of drawer has scratch and right side of drawer does not lock in place like he left side. Called techline for assistance. Tech requested pictures via sms text messaging. Tech recommended ordering and replacing left and right base rail assemblys, heat shield, also ordering scratched drawer base. Tech gave Sr# 7733140475 ordering all parts. Office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 W10813962 (Drawer) and 1 W10726740 (Sheild) and 1 WPW10306546 (Left rail) and 1 WPW10306546 (Right rail)"

"Arrived on site for a defective led. Replaced all leds in freezer series,power cycled unit all leds working as designed."

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed the power supply and control. I then preheat the unit and let it run for a while. I found it working as designed at the time of service.

"Arrived on site for dishwasher having error code F8-E4. Inspected unit and work area. Found standing water in float tray. Drained water from tray. Performed diagnostics mode and checked fault codes. Found fault code F8-E2 drain pump electrical error, F8-E4 float switch and F8-E2 inlet valve error. Ran automatic test cycle and found unit had slow drain. Removed pump and found impeller turning freely. Found failed drain pump. Installed new pump and tested operation. All tested good, no water leaks detected during service."

Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is shaking during spin. Tested all parts and components and found no failures to unit at this time. Advised customer on findings and best loading process for best results. No leaks were found at time of service.

Arrived onsite for unit not draining. Looked and saw water at the bottom of the unit. Tenant said that unit had never drained since moving in. Checked the garbage disposal to be safe hole was knocked out. Hole was not punched out. Punched out the hole. Unit drained with no issues. No leaks at this time. Job complete

Arrived onsite for the unit not working when in clean boost are added to the cycle. Tested the unit and got errors for overload and off balance codes. Erased codes. Tested the unit and unit passed with no issues. Spoke with the tenant and let them know of how the unit works when those modes are picked and to be careful with the error that prompted for the issue they may be having on how to load the unit properly and using the correct settings. No issues at this time. Customer to call the office for the payment status on the unit for service visit.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not pumping water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is not draining. I found the unit door cracked open and when I closed it, the drain pump came on. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the valve, motor, drain pump and all are operating as designed. I retested and it continued to operate as designed. Customer advised that the unit had stopped mid-cycle and it failed to drain. Looking through the tech manual, what the customer was describing was what the demo mode does. I tested the unit in a rinse only cycle and normal cycle and the unit continued to operate as designed. I inspected the drain pump, drain hose, disposal, check valve and harness and all look good.

Arrived on site for a microwave that has no power. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that this unit completely lost power after trying to replace the lightbulb with the unit plugged in. He said that there was a loud pop down near the light housing and it tripped his breaker. He said that after he flipped his breaker back on that the unit would not turn on. Confirmed the customers complaint and checked the thermal fuse. Found the thermal fuse blown. Replace the thermal fuse and tested the unit. The unit began to work as designed. The customer did not have a lightbulb to replace to ensure that the control was good or not. He advised that he would go run to Ace Hardware to see if they had a bulb that he could plug-in. The customer called me back later on and advised the light bulb would not turn on. Will return with control and housing as I was not sent with either. The office will need to contact the customer about a return trip due to an out of stock part.; ordrng 1 W11552021 (Control) and 1 W10210871 (Light socket) and 1 8206232 (Bulb)

"Arrived on site to inspect washer dispenser with rust. Upon further inspection, I found rust on the dispenser tray rail and inside the valve housing on the left side. I removed and replaced the housing and tray and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for igniter not sparking. CX said they had a home inspection come by and left it unplug, I plug it back in to outlet and tested unit, the igniter spark was constant. I did further inspection and found that there was 1 or more igniter switches sticking. I had to order a new igniter harness to replace it. No gas leaks detected. . CX would like 1st call of the day. ; ordrng 1 WP4456901 (Igniter harness) and 10 WP3368921 (Bolts)s"
