"Arrive on site and uninstalled and disassembled my wave and found damage to the wave guide. Installed Magnetron, Capacitor, and diode and microwave is heating again. Homeowner requested that we run microwave several times as it has been repaired by multiple service companies. If microwave fails again it is likely due to the damage to waveguide which is shorting out the Magnetron. Another repair attempt is not advised because it will not be permanent. At this point microwave should be replaced, job complete"

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not filling. Inspect unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit fills but it does not fill as high as her old washer used to. I did explain to the customer that these newer units are water efficient units and are low water style washers. The customer advised they do not want a little water washer and I wanted a washer that fills up to the top like theyre old ones used to. I did explain to the customer about how this unit works in government regulations that have been set for manufacturers. Ran the unit through a bulky load with some towels and found the unit filling and operating as designed. Did not find any stored error codes in the diagnostic mode. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Checked all heating components and found all heating components testing that they were good. Checked voltage going to the heater with the centrifugal switch wire removed from the elements. Checked voltage and found no voltage coming from the centrifugal switch. Disassemble to unit and found the wire connector for the motor had been pulled away from the motor. Reconnected wire connector and tested the unit. The unit began to heat and operate as designed. Added an extra zip tie to the connector to ensure that the connector states but. Call complete.

After further testing found that unit had a potential liner leak with multiple areas of rusk forming on the backside of liner and near compressor insulation. Call techline and spoke with Anthony sr#7734092664. After discussing findings with techline found that you know is nonrepairable due to void in insulation occurring in multiple spots leading to hot air getting in the unit and causing the ice buildup was instructed to have customer reach out to whirlpool for further assistance at this time. After further testing I found that because the issue was a solenoid in the valve failing after its initial flush cycle and no longer allowing wanted to be put into the unit went 120 V is applied for the ice creation and harvest settings. After getting customer approval I installed part then reassembled and tested unit. Found ice machine functioning as designed with no leaks. Call complete

The unit had leaked a small amount on the flooring at the back of the unit and I attached an image to the service call. I removed and replaced the element with the updated version and tested in accordance with the MFG TSP. There were no leaks observed after replacement of the element assembly."

"Arrived to inspect still icing and clicking on RC door. I found the door closer on the RC door was not fully tightened and after correcting, the door operated as designed and noise was gone. I sealed the ice door chute due to gapping in the door portion of the assembly and sealed around the door openings. The gasket on the RC was torn badly at the bottom hinge side and I removed and replaced the gasket and tested. The unit required leveling and door matching.

Found drain hose that runs from pump to the rear of the machine is not set into the first retaining clip, took pictures. "Arrived to inspect no cool. I found the unit would make a sizzling noise when the compressor was engaged. The capacitor was 12.3uF (12uF spec) and the coils in the compressor were 4.2 and 5.2, 9.5 combined and electrically very good. I removed and replaced the start device and the unit started once, but the compressor had severe difficulties starting and could be heard making a growl before it started. "Arrived to inspect continuous failure during attempted operation. The unit appears to be going into a flood stage mode during operation and when I tested the spin cycle in manual mode, I could hear it starting the motor, but it was loud and having difficulties starting. I tested the start capacitor and found it at 22.08uF, when it should have been at 45uF, +/- 5%. This issue likely caused the ECU to misread the slow start as water remaining in the basket, as a secondary software measure to prevent flooding and the unit will require a replacement capacitor before any further use. I did see where the motor cover had wear marks from intermittent contact with the floor, but it is highly unlikely that the gear case, cam and belt will be required, but I am reverse-flowing them. Suspension is recommended to prevent the droop of the rotational mass assy. Office to order additional parts and authorize, no leaks observed during service. When pulling the unit out of diagnostics I found the unit thinking the customer was pressing the clean cycle when the unit had not been touched. Attempted to test all functionality of the user interface and found several buttons not allowing the customer to use including the timer and clock buttons. Unit will need a new control for repair.
