He advised that at that point, we have replaced everything on the machine side that can be causing this issue, and that her issue it would have to be with the filter itself. "Arrived on site to test unit for not making ice. Upon arrival customer stated unit is making very little and very thin ice. Ran diagnostic cycle, found valve, recirculating pump and drain pump engaging properly. When calling for cool compressor did not engage. Bin thermistor is also not reading properly. Removed unit from cavity and noticed a lot of heat coming from the compressor compartment, condenser fan engaged properly. Powered unit down, removed rear cover and let most heat escape. After a few minutes, powered the unit back up and started a cycle. Compressor kicked on and was pulling 3.2 amps. Unit formed a thick ice slab and released it from the plate onto the grid cutter and cut the cubes properly. Reinstalled unit and ran another cycle, ice slab produced is noticeably thinner by half. Compartment is producing too much heat causing compressor to kick out on thermal. Inspected in front of the condenser coil and noticed foam divider is not in its correct area which may be causing that compartment to overheat. Slid foam divider into manufacture recommended location. Replaced bin thermistor (WPW10511923). All components are now properly engaging. Advised customer if issue returns then to call the office. Sealed system repair may be required. Unit is running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

"KRSF505ESS00 Arrived to repair harness. Prior the harness repair, I inspected the rest of the machine. I noticed the RC door would not fully closed and the bottom drawer was out farther than it should have been. The left side of the evaporator intake had a solid, clear mass of ice and it was pushing out on the RC door. Further inspection showed the drip pan severely corroded and likely filling the drain assembly with rust and debris. The mullion had several mm of overlap beyond the lower chamber border and both door gaskets could not conform to the overlap. Light could be seen through both lower corners at the mullion. I advised the customer of my findings and they elected to replace the machine due to the high liklihood of failure. No leaks observed during service."

"WTW4816FW3 Arrived to inspect continuous drain pump. Service test mode had F3E1, F1E1 and F8E1 stored and I cleared for testing. I found the pressure tube for the water level had been misrouted in the control area, causing a sharp bend right at the attachment point and resultant bellowing of the end of the tube, at the connection point. I trimmed the excess to ensure proper routing and a leak free connection. Due to prior service and the finding of a control error, I elected to replace and calibrate the control. The unit then operated as designed within service test mode and I could not recreate any further failures. No leaks observed during service. Drain safety strap added."

As a furtherance of testing and because similar controls have been replaced in the past, I tested the ice dispenser microswitch. I found variable resistance from the low Mohms up to the 50s. Inspection of the switch revealed moisture had entered at some point and there were clear signs of corrosion. I removed and replaced the switch assembly and tested. "Arrived on site to diagnose cooktop with no what from warmer. Customer said it seemed intermittent, but stopped heating at all. Tested and couldn't find any heat coming out, cooktop on light illuminated. I removed the cooktop glass and didn't see any obvious pinched or broken wires. When I ran it glass off, the element was producing some heat. I replaced both the element and switch and made sure all connections were tight. Reassembled and verified it was heating correctly. "Arrived on site for a dryer that is not drying clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is taking 2 to 3 cycles to dry clothes and that the unit does tumble and eat. I tested the unit and confirmed the customers complaint. I found that when I opened the dryer door, I can feel a gosh of hot air coming up through the dryer, indicating an airflow issue. I took a look in the attic, and found the vent, making several turns, but could not see the entire venting system due to the insulation. I checked dryer temperatures and found heat slowly rising and falling in the dryer, indicating a lack of airflow movement. I advise the customer that they either have a long vent issue due to several twists and turns of the vent or they have some sort of clog inside of their event. I did explain that there is no issue with the dryer itself but they will need to have their events looked at for further assistance. The unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete. The customer advised they were running a load of jeans and clothes together and that the unit stopped mid cycle. When they went to run a drain and spin cycle, they found the unit continuing to run after 2 1/2 hours. they called whirlpool and went through a step-by-step instruction on how to reset it but ultimately, when the unit was turned off, the unit turned itself back on and started running. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any store error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test, and the unit ran and operated as designed. I went ahead and replaced the control and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that wont start a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the lid was locked and he was unable to get his clothes out until he broke the lid free. He did both that since then, he has been unable to wash a load of clothes. I found that when you try to start the cycle, the unit was telling you to close the lid, even when the lid was closed. I looked the latch assembly and found one of the Switches on the latch assembly pushed all the way in and could not be reset. I replaced the latch assembly and ran the author diagnostics. I found an F0 E7 (load detected during a clean wash cycle) error code. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working in operating as designed. Call complete. W11700916."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer pointed out that there is water dripping from the bottom left corner of the FC door when they dispense water. Customer tested the water dispenser and I found where the water is leaking out. I removed the outer door skin and found and screw stripped out. I was able to get the screw out once I had the skin removed, I found water on the door and inside of the skin (photos). I found the water dispenser tube is cracked at the bend (photo) and when dispensing water, the tube leaks and the water flows behind the dispenser housing and down the door. I inspected the lower hinge parts and they are good to transfer to the new door. I am ordering the FC door, door gasket, door skin screws (4), CNOTE-2MAN JOB (SENIOR TECHS), CNOTE-2 HOUR JOB. I ran a diagnostic cycle and found the unit to be running the cycle with no issue. I asked the customer what detergent she was using and it was liquid cascade. I advised the customer to switch back to pods and that the pods have stronger cleaning power compared to the liquid as it is more diluted. The unit is operating as designed. Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not draining. Upon further inspection the customer advised that the unit is not heating or drying as well. The customer also pointed out that both racks are rusting (photos). I checked the resistance of the heating element and it read open. Upon further inspection I found that the filter needed to be cleaned and also that they had standing water in their sink causing the dishwasher to drain slow. I informed the customer that the drain needs to be kept clear for the dishwasher to drain properly. I replaced the heater and I am ordering the top and bottom rack. Office to schedule return service. Upon further inspection I found that the basket has a manufacture defect in that the holes for draining are not fully punched out. Because of this, the unit is not able to drain the water and it is going out of balance. I am ordering a basket W11172199. No water leaks observed during service. WOED3030LS01 Arrived on site for a in wall tripping breaker per client. Upon arrival found breaker was already flipped. Flipped breaker back on preheated both top and bottom same time to 500 degrees. Both preheated to 500 degrees without without flipping breaker. Preheated again after letting both cool down back to 500 degrees and once again product did not flip breaker. Notified client to get with the home builder to replace breaker if it happens again. Product working as it's designed.

"On arrival verified complaint of ice forming in RC section. Spoke to GC and attempted to replace gasket on adapter behind ice maker. After removal of gasket and attaching to the old gasket as two layers was unable to compress gasket car enough to seat ice maker. Spoke to GC and was advised to order another adapter. Also needs RC evap drain pan for cracked pan and ice maker for costing flaking off. Upon arrival tested in diagnostic found the amount of water filling was very low then the recirculating pump failed further testing found drain pump had issues draining causing for over filling. WDP540HAMZ4 Arrived on site for a dishwasher not heating per client. Upon arrival found error code F7E1 in diagnostic further inspection found heater working as it's designed reading 8.40 amps. Arrived on site to test unit for unit tripping breaker. Replaced both upper and lower bake and broiler elements. Turned breaker back on test unit by heating to 500? and breaker still tripping at about 180? and breaker wouldnt turn back on it keep tripping. Customer showed me they push start and nothing started. Arrived on site to test unit for clicking/grinding noise. Customer provided video and verified noise coming from damper. Replaced damper(WPW10594329) and advised when damper is engaging noise is normal part of operation. No leaks detected. Unit working as designed. Job complete.

Attempted to force harvest the IM, IM would not enter a harvest cycle indicating an issue with the IM motor.
