Spoke to SW and LM. Ice formation could be due to lack of water flow and continual running or unit may have potential sealed system failure. Ran diagnostics and found evaporator still forming frost. Replaced valve and tested. Water flow was restored to normal . Notified customer that replacing the valve my correct the issue so long as there is no sealed system repair needed. Customer understood and approved valve replacement.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator with a fan that was running hard and with the refrigerator compartment not cooling properly. Upon arrival the customer stated the fan sounded like it was dragging and humming loud. I checked temps and found the FC at 3?F and the RC at 54?F. Upon further inspection I found the RC evap cover covered in ice. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found error code 22E for RC fan failure. I then gained access to the control and found a good 8VDC going to the fan. This indicates a fan failure. I am ordering the fan and the office will reschedule to install. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher with an E14 error and that will end the cycle with dishes still dirty in the unit. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit will frequently not wash properly, the soap wont dissolve completely, an E14 error will be thrown, and a film will be left on the dishes after the cycle when run on auto. They found if they switch cycles or run the unit several times it may finally wash properly. I tested the unit and was not able to replicate the failure. The E14 error code is for a reed switch sensor fault, which is what regulates the water flow into the unit. I gained access to the reed switch on the left side of the unit and found it in the closed position while idle. Per the Bosch tech sheet it should be open when idle. This indicates a bad reed switch.. I am ordering the reed switch and the office will reschedule to install. No leaks observed at the time of service."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with ice build up. Upon further inspection, I found a large block of ice on the RC evap cover (photo). I pulled the unit out on my floor protector and tested from the control as I could not get access to the evaporator. I tested the RC evap thermistor at connector P8-1 to P8-2 and found 1.994 kohms and the control providing 5VDC with molex connector removed. With connector plugged in, it is showing .869VDC. Going off my thermistor chart, this determines that the RC evap thermistor is way out of range and showing to be 90 degrees and the control cant determine to go into defrost so its constantly cooling.

Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit will run for a minute or two and then the time will quickly start to count down. When it hits about 1:30 it will just stop. They also found they cannot change the time. I tested the unit and was able to replicate the failure. I also found the UI making abnormal noises. I gained access to the control and verified the connectors were good. I then gained access to the pump and found everything good. This indicates a bad control needing to be replaced. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that was not making any lights, the LEDs on the panel werent lighting up, and the door was not sealing properly. Upon arrival the customer showed me how the dispenser blue LED lights are no longer working, and how there is a light coming through and a gap at the top of the mullion when you close the door. I found the mullion and door sagging a bit for the mullion to not lay flush with the top of the chassis. I checked temps and found them good, and could not find any frost build up. However, I could see a clear path into the fridge through the top of the mullion. Due to this I am ordering the mullion and door raisers to install on the left RC door. I am also ordering a new dispenser UI to install. I also found the IM icing over and per the IM service pointer the IM kit needs to be installed. I did find that if I pushed in on the lower side of the door that the door would actually close but when I went to release it, door would pull out a third of an inch. Attempted to fix placement of the door hinges but was unsuccessful in getting the door to shut properly.
