"Arrived on site for a microwave that is adding time, losing time, and is opening the door during the cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit started acting up after she cooked rice in a Pyrex bowl uncovered for 12 minutes. She advised that steam was coming out of the microwave pretty profusely and after that, anytime she cooked, the unit was adding time or subtracting time or opening the door during her cook cycles. She advised this happened over the course of a two day period. And I plugged in the unit and ran the unit testing it with water and found the unit working four times in a row without opening the door or adding time. I asked the customer if she was using any specific functions of her microwave that might use the moisture sensor. She could not remember exactly what cycles she was using. The customer tested it again herself twice and could not get the unit to fault. I did advise the customer that it is possible that with the steam accumulation during that rice cooking cycle, it may have affected her controls until they completely dried. Went through the user manual and did find that the manufacturer requests a lid to be used or saran wrap to be used when cooking items inside of the microwave. Went over user care guide with the customer explaining why they dont want open steam inside of the microwave. I called Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Kelly SR# 7733801016. She advise not to make any repairs at this point and that you would get the file notated. Call complete."

The customer advised that the icemaker tray seemed bent and bowed potentially causing the issue. I did confirm that the icemaker tray had broken off of the motor causing the issue. Arrived on site for washer making a loud noise. Upon arrival customer described issue they were having but stated after allowing the unit to run continuously the issue had stopped and they were able to restore all functionality back to the unit. Upon entering diagnostics I found no signs of error codes or failures during testing. I did however find that the drain hose was shoved into the stand pipe too far causing a natural siphon not allowing unit to fill properly. Its likely this had led to the unit going into a flood mode and once customers allowed flood mode to end all functionality was restored. Inform customer to allow unit to run and if issue comes back to let us know. Washer functioning as designed with no leaks during test. Call complete

"Arrived on site to diagnose a cooktop with a cracked glass top. Was able to take pics of issue, but homeowner informed me they cancelled call as whirlpool was giving them a discount on a new unit and they already decided to replace unit. No services were performed today."

Upon further inspection, the customer provided a clear glass that was fogged up and I could see leftover white detergent on the inside of the glass. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. I removed the outer door panel to monitor the dispenser functions and tested the unit. I placed my multimeter on the black wire at the junction box to monitor amp draw to the components. The unit is operating as designed. Customer advised that they have a filtration type system to the water supply of the home. I found the rinse aid dispenser dial set too high and explained what can happen with the dial at that setting with the filtration system. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid us. Customer questioned if they could use liquid plumber in the unit and I advised that they should not use it, bleach or vinegar as all will cause damaging issues with the unit. Arrived onsite to perform a carbon monoxide tested on a rang oven. I performed test with an carbon monoxide detector wit the oven on and off and also with the burners on and found that the detector did not go off indicating no carbon monoxide detector. I noticed that one of the burners would sputter when set to simmer I adjusted this And found burner operating as designed. Unit operating as designed job complete.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator that is not going the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaint and remove the evaporator cover. Found ice buildup inside of the air channel that leads down to the refrigerator section causing this issue. The customer advised that while she was on the line with customer service, they advised her to try to turn the temperature dial inside the freezer to allow more cold air into the refrigerator section. When she did this, the knob and stem broke off of the control. I did confirm this issue but I also found some of the tabs on the backside of the evaporator cover broken. Steamed out the iceman set the position to the recommended setting. Went to order the evaporator cover but found the part not listed properly. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to JR SR# 7733848868. He advised that the part number does not reflect the actual part number on the schematics and will need to be researched through our parts distributor. He advised to send in for research and that whirlpool and our distributor will find the necessary parts to order. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator with an ice maker with ice coming out in clumps. Upon arrival the customer stated the ice will come out as one big block as if it is overfilling in the IM tray. Upon further inspection I found a block like this in the IB. I checked temps in the unit and found the, good. I then put the unit into diagnostics mode and ran an IM harvest. I found it working as designed. I then ran the IB fan and an IM fill. Both ran as designed. This indicates a faulty IM calling for to much water needing replacement. Arrived on site for a cooktop with the front left burner throwing an F113 error when turning it on. I tested the unit and was able to replicate this. Per the tech sheet this is an open temp sensor or main control issue. I gained access to the inside of the unit and found all connections/harness good. I ohmd out the temp sensor for the front left burner and found it open. This indicates a bad sensor. In order to repair the unit it will need a new front left burner assembly. Per the tech sheet if the error is still thrown after replacement it will also need a main control. Due to this I am ordering the main control to have on hand as well. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher not completing a cycle and with no water coming into the unit. Upon arrival the customer stated the soap will just sit at the bottom and not dissolve. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and activated all loads. I found the valve working as designed, but neither the wash motor nor blower energized at all. I activated both again while checking voltage to them and found good voltage. This indicates a bad wash motor and blower. Upon further inspection I found the rubber insulation on the bottom of the unit had separated from the tub and was breaking into pieces. I also found the valve fill hose was extremely kinked creating slow fill on the unit. In order to repair the unit it will need a new blower, motor, and fill hose. The insulation is not a separate part that can be repaired. Arrived on site for a cooktop that wont heat the right burner properly. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found that the right front element would not turn on at all. Remove the cooktop and found the element had exploded inside the element causing a short and inability to heat the element. Replace the element and tested the unit. Found the element not turning on due to improper voltage being sent to the element. Replaced the ethernet switch and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite and found unit had frozen fresh food produce but responded positively to adjusting the thermostat. Advised customer on findings and provided customer instruct on using thermometers to monitor temps for proper operation. All checks good.

Arrived on site for dishwasher still leaking water. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found signs of water overfill under lower door seal at bottom of door and overfilling over the tub. Upon further inspection found no errors in diagnostics and one tub has a door there was not enough water in the tub to account for a bad valve but I did find that unit would overfill the door when in a heavy spray cycle indicating water could possibly be leaking from the motor or spring assemblies into the tub at high pressures in and out the door. Informed customer of findings.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed the valve and then tested the unit. The unit began working as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator with no cool. Upon further inspection I found both compartments with no cool and no frost pattern. I also found the mullion significantly hotter than it should be and constantly running. I gained access to the back of the unit and found the compressor overheated and also constantly running. I checked amp draw to the compressor and found it at .8 amps. This indicates a control and SS failure. I also found the water line leaking at the valve, and a sign of a leak from the water line into the IM. Upon further inspection I I found the waterline to the IM actually cut in half. I informed the customer on my findings. The customer stated they were only trying to fix it temporarily before they remodel their kitchen.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine throwing error codes. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit is not working, and prior it would just randomly change cycles and never be accurate on the UI. I put the unit into diagnostic mode and found stored error code F6E2 for communication error and F2E1 for stuck button. I cleared the error codes. I then tried to run a diagnostics cycle and found the buttons not working properly and the selections not responding. Upon further inspection I found the gearcase had significant oil indicating a failing gearcase. In order to repair the unit it will need a console, control, gearcase, and slider. I informed the customer on my findings, and they just want to repair the console and control. I installed both parts and then tested the unit. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a range leaking gas. Upon arrival the customer showed me pictures of bubbling leak detector on the regulator. Upon further inspection I found a sever crack running down the regulator. I replaced the regulator and then tested the unit. I put leak detector on all connections again and could not find any leak. I then activated all burners and verified functionality. Call complete.

Arrived to inspect door alignment issues. I found the cabinet incorrectly set and the doors would not align. I corrected the cabinet issue and set the door height. I tested the unit and it operated as designed. No leaks observed during service.

Arrived on site for oven no responding. I spoke to the customer and found out they recently had a power outage. I tested the unit and found it working properly. I found no fault codes in diagnostics. I found all buttons and functions working as designed. Job complete.

Arrived on site for wall oven showing F2e1 error code. I inspected the unit and work area. I verified the error. I found the left side buttons not responding. I gained access to the console and tested the harness. I found the harness in good condition

Arrived onsite and found unit evap harness connector to heater failed. Repaired unit by replacing evap harness. All checks food. Unit is now operating as designed.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher with a f9e1 code. Upon inspection I found that the code did not show up in diag. I check the drain hose for a high loop and found that it did not have one. I corrected the and tested unit and found unit operating as designed. Job complete

Arrived onsite for ice machine not producing. Upon inspection I found that the machine was turned off. I put unit into diag mode and tested all function all all showed ok in diag. Go a full frost pattern when testing the compressor/ evap. Upon operating as designed job complete.

Arrived onsite for gas leak in the manifold. Replaced manifold and found dryer is now operating as designed without leaking.

Arrived onsite and found fridge thermistor out of range causing continual sub freezing temperatures.

"Arrived on site and inspected refrigerator and found fresh food sign drain is clogged. Found drip pan has rusted away. Removed rusted drip pan and cleared drain tube with steamer.

"Arrived on site and inspected washer and found dispenser drawer overflows immediately. Found the cap for the detergent bottle has been dropped into the drawer and is blocking the fill tube into the tub, took multiple pictures. Home is a short term rental and the last guess they had probably dropped cab into dispenser drawer. Washer is operating properly after correcting it, job complete"

"Arrived on site and inspected dryer and found it is squealing while running. Disassembled dryer and found tension pulley is squealing. After replacing belt, all support wheels, and pulley dryer is running normally, job complete"

Arrived on site for refrigerator leaking water and not cooling. Upon arrival confirmed issue. Found unit unplugged. Verified stable power supply and restored power to unit. I then found all fans running as well as compressor. Found amps fluctuated between .8-1.3. Found evap coil frosting over onFront row only. Found separations between liner on both sides of compartments as well as liner damage in rc compartment. Also saw void in insulation behind unit. Unit cant be repaired due to liner damage. Will need findings reported to ahs.

Arrived on site dryer not turning on. Upon arrival confirmed issue. Found after further testing that unit had a stable 240v connection. I then found thermal fuse and cut off and blown and element coil was starting to bow and warp (caused from normal) causing the short in all 3 parts. I then reassembled and tested dryer. Found dryer heat cycling as designed with no failures or odd fluctuations in temp. Call complete
