I gained access to the terminal block and found voltage and connections good. I then flipped the breaker for several minutes and found nothing changed. This indicates a possible UI failure. Upon further inspection I found the console bubbling up as well. In order to repair the unit it will need a new UI and console. We will bring back the control to test after the UI is installed, for I could not run the unit. Ordering parts and the office will reschedule. ; ordrng 1 W11460908 (Console) and 1 W11460962 (UI)"

"Arrived on site for a washing machine receiving an F9E1 and F8E6 error code. Upon arrival the customer stated the error codes continue to flash and that the latch was broken. Upon further inspection I found the tub full of water and the latch physically broken. I had to unplug the unit in order to remove the error codes. I plugged the unit back in and put it into diagnostics mode. I found stored error codes F9E1 long drain, F3E3 for inlet water temp fault, and F8E6 for water hazard. I cleared the error codes. I then tried to manually activate each component and found none responding. I checked voltage at the wall and found it good. I then checked voltage at the control and found it good. I tried unplugging the drain pump and then activating all loads again, but I found it still not functioning. This indicates a bad control. I also found the gearcase leaking significant oil. In order to repair the unit it will need a new control, latch, gearcase, and slider. Ordering parts and the office to reschedule and get autho. ; ordrng 1 W11449841 (Gearcase)"

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling in the RC section. I checked temps and found the RC at 57?F and the FC at 11?F. I then put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all airflow components running. However, I felt the airflow coming out of the damper to be weak. Upon further inspection I found no ice build up on evap cover. I gained access to the control to ohm out the thermistors. The RC read 3.5k and the FC read 18.8k. These are both roughly accurate. I then checked VDC to the thermistors and found the FC thermistor getting 3.5VDC and the RC thermistor getting 1VDC. I then checked the VDC with no load from the control for the RC thermistor and found it now sending a good 5VDC. This indicates a bad thermistor. I then checked voltage going to the fan and found a good 120VAC. This indicates a bad fan possibly getting weak from prior ice build up. I am ordering the fan and harness to replace at the same time. We will return with the thermistor on hand to replace as well. Office to reschedule. ; ordrng 1 W11396715 (Fan Motor) and 1 W11449066 (FC Fan Harness)"

"Arrived to inspect lights out. I found the upper lights in the RC were out and the FC light, as well. I removed and replaced the left rear light and the issue was resolved. I removed and replaced the LED control due to a flicker while testing. I found the left door hinge was badly bent down and that caused the initial issue with the mullion and was still causing it to not engage correctly into the chassis. The issue also caused the ice bin gasket to not fully contact the fascia and after correcting the hinge, all issues were corrected. I squared the chassis and set the right door height. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

The unit was missing the back cover, a,lowing excessive flow of hot air around the chassis. I used cardboard to correct the cover issue and r/r the valve assembly. I watched the unit produce a slab and it was nice and clear and approximately 3/8-1/2 thick. Unit is equipped with a lit pump and not required in this installation. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.

I then installed compressor UV dryer and access port and then reassembled and reprogram the control board and put a vacuum on the unit and found no signs of leaking. Then recharge system at 4.75 ounces of refrigerant and allowed unit to run and found pressure stabilizer zero and 150 with no signs of leaks. Inform customer to give unit 24 hours to cool. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making any ice. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint and ran the unit through diagnostics. Found all components working except the icemaker error codes flashing and E5 indicating timed icemaking for a bad thermistor. Found the unit was unlevel and leaning to the back right corner of the refrigerator. I did change out the icemaker but did advise the customer that the unit does need to be level in order to function properly when making ice due to water overflowing and spilling out of the icemaker mold. This is allowing the drip tray to fill abnormally fast and create the drip. I showed the customer how the drip tray is removed, and advised them on checking it regularly. I gained access to the motor bolt and found it tight/secure. This indicates the tub separating from the spin assembly. I advised the customer to reach out to LG.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is still flashing an F2 E2 (HMI disconnected) error code. The customer advised that after the previous visit, the unit had acted up for a few days. He then advised that he unplugged it for several days and the unit has been working since. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7733712892. He advised that because the issue is so intermittent, the issue would have to be with their electrical supply having intermittent issues with grounding or polarity. Advise that since this is happened to two units in a row, theres no way that the issue Hass to be with the unit. He advised to help me tell the customer to use an extension cord for another outlet for a little while and see if the issue persists before any further service will be done. I spoke to PR for further advisement on the repair. Was told to adhere to tech lines request from the customer due to this ongoing problem. Advised the customer of Techlines findings and the customer will call back if their issues persist after switching plugs. Call complete."

Customer had just finished a load of wash prior to my arrival. I found water streaks coming from the dispenser area and going down past the door hinge and running under the door down to the floor. I removed the dispenser drawer and found water puddled at the opening of the dispenser. Placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit is operating as designed. Per service pointer #W11481731, the dispenser needs to be replaced due to it leaking. . I removed and replaced the dispenser assembly and retested and unit is operating as designed.
