"Arrived on site to inspect ice machine making noises and turned itself on. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is still making the noises it made before last repair. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and the unit operated as designed except for the reservoir drain pump failed to come on. The external drain pump is operating as designed. Also found a crack in the reservoir where the drain pump attaches. I could not duplicate the unit turning itself off/on.I am ordering the reservoir and drain pump and also the main control just in case the unit continues to turn itself off/on. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator not producing ice. Upon arrival the customer stated it has never made ice since she purchased it. I checked temps and found the RC at 37?F and the RC at 1?F. Upon further inspection I found the ice bin full of ice and the IM actually working. The real issue was the ice dispenser was not dispensing. I found the customer let the bin get full and never turned the IM off. It was allowing the ice to overflow into the dispenser chute and freeze up. This clogged it. I cleared the ice and it was now dispensing. I found no weeping valve and the IM as designed. No service fee collected, for the customer was within warranty. I advised the customer on what a customer instruct is, and how she has utilized hers today.

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that was filling when not in use. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit would not drain and sometimes overflow out of the tub. Upon arrival the tub was full of water. I drained the unit with the drain button and found it worked as designed. I found the drain hose routed correctly too. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F6E4 for float switch open. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and tested the float switch. I found the float switch stopping the fill when activated. I found the unit running through the test cycle as designed. I advised the customer that it could of been something stuck under the float switch during a cycle and it stopped the cycle, but the customer said he tested that and did not find anything stuck. I also advised him it could be a weeping valve slowly filling the tub up , but due to not being able to replicate the failure today we cannot be 100% certain.

"Arrived on site for sealed system repair. I gained access to the compressor and punctured the dryer. I found 10 psi in the system equalized. Indicating a leak. I gained access to th evaporator and found an ice ball on the cap tube. I inspected the evap cover and housing and found them in good condition. I used silicone to seal the back of the evaporator housing. I replaced the compressor, dryer, and rc evaporator. I also installed a access valve. I pulled a vacuum on the system and found it holding. I put a measured charge of 5.5oz of r134a into the system. I monitored pressures and found them holding. I plugged the 7nit in and found it cooling the fresh food section, showing pressures low 10 psi and high 145 psi. The unit is working as designed. Job complete."

Removed grim and reinstalled filter. Removed water line from valve and cleared out any possible debris inside. Found drain hose didnt have a high loop. Placed drain hose in a high loop. Ran through diagnostics cycle (no error codes) and completed all cycles as designed. Placed in diagnostics once again and no error codes came on. To ensure it was running as designed I placed the dishwasher in a normal cycle with high temp and heated dry selected. Ran for about 15 minutes then cancelled. No issues while in normal cycle. Placed in diagnostics again to ensure it was running as designed and to triple check for error codes. Once again no error codes came on. Dishwasher running as designed. No leaks detected. Job completed.

I ran the manual test and found the whole basket would agitate during heavy agitation instead of just the washplate. I will need to order the motor, shifter, belt, cam, gear case and washplate due to the teeth on the underside of the washplate wearing down. Mm Job # 305350 I arrived on site for unit with F8E1 error code. After arrival I spoke with customer and learned they got this code for low fan in over speed when ever they used either wall oven. I placed the unit in diagnostics and also found stored F6E4 UI- Appliance manager status state mismatch. I ran through the check list for the F8E1 error and found 120VAC to P5-5 to N and P5-4 to N. I then tested DC voltage to P4-1 and P4-2 and found 9 volts dc. I then gained access to the back of the unit and found the blower had a loose connector. I plugged it in properly and tested the unit. Unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

I disassembled the assembly and found one big block of ice. Due to this the motor was freezing up and unable to turn. I cleared out the ice and then checked the dispenser. "(CH) Arrived on site for FC leaking and not cooling. Upon arrival found FC drain clogged. Upon arrival found temps in both compartments over 65 degrees. After further inspection I found no frost or signs of refrigerant getting to FC evap coil. Evap motor and condenser motors were running. Found start device functioning but compressor was shutting down due to over heating. Tried new device and found same results. Removed new start device and will need to order compressor, uv dryer, etc for repairs. Arrived on site for oven not igniting. Upon arrival I spoke with the customer and was told the issue was intermittent. I took a test cycle and found the unit was not heating in even swings. I gained access to the back and found that the lower oven igniter was not making a good connection. I replace the wire nuts and drew amperage. Amperage was 3.5 during heating and would then change to 0 when heating was not on. This indicates the igniter is now working as designed. Call complete.

I found the vent restricted and not allowing proper air flow. I recommend having someone come out and check the exterior vent. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice dispenser not working. Upon further inspection, I removed the ice bin and found frost build up on the motor yoke. I tested the dispenser motor and it failed. I removed the dispenser assembly and tested the motor and it is good. I removed the dispenser UI and inspected the ice chute and found the ice chute door broken and not making good contact with switch. I am ordering the ice door seal, insulation, ice door center, ice door chute assembly, spring, hinge pin, & damper rotary. Due to the ice door being broken, it no longer seals, so I recommended that the customer place a wash cloth in the chute to help vent warm air going into the ice bin and melting the ice. No water leaks observed during service, office to schedule return service due to the availability of parts.; ordrng 1 241688701 (Ice Door seal) and 1 241688601 (Insulation) and 1 241688501 (Ice door center) and 1 241688401 (Ice door assembly chute) and 1 241688901 (Spring) and 1 241689301 (Damper rotary) and 1 241688801 (Hinge pin)"

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not keeping temp in the refrigerator section and is forming ice on the back wall. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found refrigerator evaporator frosted over. Check resistance through the defrost heater and bimetal from the fresh food connector at the wall. Found the circuit open. Removed the connectors on the heater and checked resistance through the harness, buy metal, and heater and found all to be within range. Spoke to SW and was advised to jump across the heater and found proper resistance through the circuit with the heater removed. Was told that the issue is with the heater sporadically making connection and not making connection due to a faulty heater. Replace the heater and tested the unit. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete."
