"Arrived on site for a cooktop that has a delayed ignition on the front left burner. I tested the unit and found the front left burner would click for a while before it lights. This would allow a large flame to be produced over a large surface area and would even reach the knobs. After the first delay, the unit seems to ignite as designed. I was able to replicate this several times. I called techline and spoke to Drew and received SR# 7732385906. Drew recommended adjusting the burner head and ignitor. I adjusted the burner head several times and was able to continuously replicate the issue. Drew recommended replacing the orifice holder with the ignitor. "Arrived on site for a combo wall oven receiving a F1E0 error code. Upon arrival the UI was flashing the F9E0 error code for L2 or L1 power failure. This indicates faulty incoming voltage or possible control failure. I attempted to gain access to the inside of the unit to properly diagnose, but found I will need a second technician to safely do so. Upon further inspection I found the unit sitting on two bars and has a lip over the front edge of the unit with an open base. I informed the customer that the unit needs to have a completely covered base in order to have proper airflow and heat release from the unit. I informed him that in order to properly warranty the repair this would need to be fixed, for this incorrect install can replicate similar failures. I also informed him of the second service fee for a second technician. The customer accepted. The office will need to reschedule with a second technician. We will bring back all parts on hand."

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed the interlocks and buld. I then tested the unit with a MW safe cup of water. The unit is now running as designed.

Arrived on site for a washing machine with a faulty lid latch. Upon arrival the customer stated they had another company come service the unit and they found it was the lid latch. The customer stated that the real issue was the units UI was completely unresponsive. I was able to get the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error code. I then activated each load separately and ran a diagnostics cycle. I found the unit ran through as designed. I started a normal cycle and found the unit was responsive. I found no failure at the time of service.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaving residue on dishes. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they recently had a water softener system installed in the home. I found the clear dishes with white residue on them and the customer provided their detergent to me. I explained how a water softener system works and how it works with their dishwasher. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Continued with testing and the unit is operating as designed. I made recommendations for use f care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not dispensing ice. Inspected unit and work area. Tested operation to verify failure and found auger motor not activating. Bypassed door switch and gained access to auger motor. Found when ice had thawed from not cooling that water gotten to auger motor. Measured incoming voltage to auger motor while press dispenser pad. Found failed auger motor. Removed failed auger motor and installed new. Assembled unit and tested operation. All tested good, no water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site for oven gasket worn and customer was preqouted to replace gasket. Customer stated that another service company was out and informed him of failed gasket. Inspected unit and work area. Did find gasket was worn. Spoke with customer on cycle temperature and heat is designed to escape unit. Removed failed gasket and installed new. Tested door operation. All tested good.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I placed my gauges on the unit and found pressures equalized at 20/20 showing there to be a leak in the system. I placed my nitrogen kit onto the unit and tested for a leak at 130psi and could not find one. I did not find any dye from the drier either. After approximately 20 mins, my pressures had dropped to just below 125psi. I contacted techline and advised of the issue and my findings and they advised that from what Ive tested and checked, the unit has a slow leak within the cabinet and deemed it non repairable. Provided SR#7733341552. I contacted my customer via phone and advised of my findings and my conversation with the manufacturer. I provided the SR# to my customer and recommended they contact the manufacturer for assistance. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator having slow pressure to water dispenser. Inspected unit and work area. Tested water dispenser without water filter. Traced water to filter head. Arrived on site for washer not spinning clothes out all the way. Upon arrival confirm complaint and found an F7 E1 area code as well as a F5E1. After further testing I found that the cause of the unit not spinning was the gearcase at hollowed out the hub driving in a basket not allowing for proper traction and rotation of the tub assembly and was also showing major signs of wear and tear on the cam assembly as well as gearcase belt actuator etc. Will need office to reschedule ones availability of parts needing to be ordered still for repair and all previously sent parts or known. Upon arrival confirm complaint after further testing found at the element even though it was only out in the specs was overheating and making contact with Outter shell and grounding out causing it to shut down. "Arrived on site for ice maker not producing ice. I inspected the unit and work area. I put the unit into diagnostics and ran a valve test. I found the valve opening but no water into the ice maker. I blew the the fill line and found a restriction in the cabinet. I steamed out the fill tube from inside the freezer and where the line enters in the back. I still found no water flow. I advised the customer to turn the unit off for 24 hours. If the ice maker does start to produce afterwards, than the insulation has collapsed and is not allowing water through, making it not repairable. Job complete."

The customer advised that they may have fixed it because the refrigerator seems to be cooling properly now. Found the fridge and freezer temperatures at the right temperature. Remove the evaporator cover and found no evidence of any defrost issue and the unit cooling as it should. I did advise the customer that because the unit is cooling as it should and there are no issues with temps, I could not verify any issue with the unit. The unit is working as designed. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not able to complete a spin cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that there was nothing wrong with the unit but that socks seem to get stuck in the bellow from time to time. I did find the unit on unlevel flooring and that the flooring was not firm. The customer is on the second level of an apartment complex building where it seems several floorboards need to be replaced. I did adjust the feet on the washer to allow the unit to sit more level. Took a look at the unit and ran through all diagnostic testing. The unit ran as designed. The customers wore then came home and advised the unit goes off balance with any load. I had to grab a load to wash and notice the customer washing a sleeping bag, big thick blanket, and several socks. We were in the unit through a quick wash and as the unit came to the spin portion of the cycle, found the unit shaking violently. I did explain to the customer that the unit cannot handle the tackle load that she had just put in. Customer then said that well that may be true, the unit does this with every cycle. Went to test the shocks on the unit and found the basket would not move. Looked behind the unit and found that the shipping bolts were still stuck on the back side of the washer. The customer advised that she was unaware that those needed to be removed as they had installed the unit themselves. I showed her the installation guide and showed that those need to be removed before use. Remove the shipping Bolton test of the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. The customer did state that the rocking was better but had questions on if the unit could be fixed even more to make it not vibrate as much. I Called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Joel SR# 7733342528. He advised that because of the flooring this unit sits on, the customer would have to find a way to create more stability beneath the unit. He advised to make no further repairs in the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

The customer showed me a video of the unit during the agitation cycle and found the unit making a clicking sound and spinning the basket. "Arrived on site for a dishwasher not draining. I pressed the cancel/drain button and could hear the drain activate, but no water come through. I then checked voltage at the drain pump while running it and found a good 120 VAC. This indicates a faulty pump. I installed a new pump and then ran it through again. I found the unit now draining as designed. Per customer request I filled the unit and drained it a second time. The second time the unit did not drain. Due to this I removed the drain line and blew it through and used my snake to clean it. I did pull out some gunk and debris. I then filled the tub and drained it three times in a row. All three times it drained. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that customer says is not having detergent dispensed. On arrival found the unit had the load n go dispenser and it was empty. Filled dispenser and advised customer on making sure we set it to the proper concentration in order to make sure it's dosing appropriately for the concentration. Set unit to 2x concentration for their soap, and also advised on how to calculate and change concentration. Unit is washing as designed, advised you don't always see excessive suds during a normal load with load n go. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to diagnose oven that customer said had started on its own last week. Customer reports she came out one morning and lower oven was on and running. She reset at breaker and hasnt had issues since. Checked for errors and found the error screen had 5 errors but they are blank and no text is there. Called tech line, SR 7733342434. Tech Line advised that the only thing that can cause any type of issue like this is software in the console. I assisted customer in setting the unit up to wifi to allow for software updates, since even new consoles can need the software updates. This should resolve any issues and no other repair is recommended at this time. Reported findings to safety, SR 7733297025. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to follow up on washer that is not properly filling with water and is also clicking when agitating. Ran unit with a small load of clothes. When unit ran I found barely any water was able to hit the agitator before it shut off the fill and began agitating in an empty basket with barely damp clothes, and made a loud clacking noise. I checked the pressure hose and didn't find any serious kinks, but may have kinks in the wrap. Ordering gearcase, pressure hose, slider, rotor to resolve both the fill and the noise. Valves are good and control is new. Advised on customer installing maytag app and updating machine software. Office to schedule when we can get all parts. Arrived on site to diagnose washer that isn't properly latching kid. Tested unit and could hear the lock clicking but not holding and throwing F5E2 error. Removed console and found German roach infestation in the control and lower harness. No repair performed due to infestation. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to follow up on dryer that was not heating at all. Checked wiring and voltages at rear of unit. Found that the ground wire coming out of the cable was capped off and disconnected, also found the neutral wire from the terminal block was capped off and disconnected as well, blocking the return path for any voltage. The external ground hole was drilled out and I don't have any hardware thick enough to fill it to connect the ground and neutral on the dryer side. Advised customer to connect the white and green wires to the external chassis ground to fix the dryer side. Breaker pops when unit is plugged in. Checked voltages at the wall and outlet and found that the L1 Power had 71 volts, L2 wire had 158 volts, and both ground and neutral have 40-60 volts showing when tested at the cable. Advised customer to have their electrician come back out and fix the wall outlet side power issues due to voltages bleeding into ground and neutral. Unit itself should be fine once source wiring is correct and the ground and neutral wires on the dryer side are properly connected. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher not washing dishes well. Upon arrival the customer stated that the dishes seem to be getting wet, but are still dirty when the cycle is done. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F8E2 for inlet water electrical problem. I cleared the error codes. I then ran a test cycle and found the unit filled as designed. I also found that the water was coming through the wash arms very weak to the point the wash arms were not rotating. I checked voltage to the motor and found a good 120VAC. This indicates a weak motor. I am ordering the sump and motor to replace. The return tech will also need to replace the heater upon return per the SP W11540964. Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. Replaced motor and replaced roller repair kit. Tested unit and unit operates correctly

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. Upon inspection I found that the compressor would turn off immediately after kicking on and drawing 9.30 amps. I check compressor windings and found that it had failed ordering 1x sealed system.office to reschedule.; ordrng 1 W11370574 (compressor) and 1 W11578004evap (evap) and 1 WPW10143759drier (drier) and 1 W11504415 (coupler) and 1 W11504431 (coupler) and 1 W11506619 (coupler) and 1 W11506619 (coupler) and 1 W11504450 (coupler) and 1 W11506619 (coupler) and 1 W11504445 (coupler) and 1 R600AKIT (R600AKIT) and 1 NITROGEN (NITROGEN) and 1 LOKRINGKIT (LOKRINGKIT) and 1 W11506635 (couler) and 1 W11504447 (coupler) and 1 Sealedsystem (Sealed system)

Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival tested and inspected unit. Gearcase and agitator are good. Found cam grinder and worn also found belt worn. Need to replace cam and belt. Replaced cam and belt. Tested unit and all speeds of agitator and all speed of spin cycles operating as designed. No leaks present at this time. Job complete

"Arrived to inspect leak. I found the middle spray arm was not attached and I installed and verified it locked into place. I tested the unit through service test mode, no stored error codes and found no indications of any leaks throughout a complete test. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered part. I removed the failed lower broil element and installed the replacement. I tested the unit through broil and bake operations and it operated as designed.

Due to the tub leaking, element not heating, and OWI sensor shorted out due to the leak, I removed and replaced the mentioned parts and transferred the sump/motor assembly, door part, harness and other parts to the new tub and tested. Unit is operating as designed. Element ordered not needed as one came with the tub. No leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The tenant advised the unit is making ice but wasnt dispensing ice for about two weeks. She advised that her husband found out the ice door seperator was not opening. When he pushed it from the top side, it opened and has been opening ever since. I tested the unit several times and could not get the unit to fault. Spoke to the property manager and she had those that because the unit is working at this time, not to proceed forward with any repairs. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, tested the unit and immediately it began to make a loud screeching noise. I raise the top panel and turned the unit on and found the noise coming from the top and left side. I removed the front panel and drum and found the belt worn and cracked; the front top bearing and slides were badly worn and damaged and the idler pulley was worn. I found the rear bearing with no grease on it so I applied some that was screened for this call ; ordrng 1 WE3M56 (Top front bearing) and 1 CNOTE (SCHEDULE AS 1ST CALL)"

Arrived on site for refrigerator that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit is leaking in the freezer section and coming out of the freezer door. Found the evaporator drip tray frozen over causing water to flow forward during defrost. Remove the back cover and blew through the drain tube. Steamed out excess ice in the freezer section and was able to run water through it. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for dishwasher needing previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival reconfirmed issue but found during disassembly that unit had a roach infestation that had taken out the main and ui controls as well as door latch, wiring etc. unit cant be safety repaired due to infestation. Call complete"

"Arrived on site for freezer evaporator freezing up. Customer stated that there was buildup on evaporator and he thawed out. Inspected unit and work area. Gained access to evaporator assembly. Found good frost pattern on evaporator. Measured heating resistance and found closed circuit (133 ohms). Found failed control. Removed failed control and installed new. Assembled unit and tested operation. All tested good, no water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site for freezer not reaching correct temperature. Inspected unit and work area. Measured temperature in FC at 13?. Performed diagnostics mode and tested FC fan operation and thermistor reading. Gained access to evaporator and found signs of evaporator not defrost. Placed unit in defrost cycle and found 3 way found continued to attempt to close. Called Whirlpool tech support and spoke with Rich. Sr#7733337659. He stated to replace main and UI controls. Found main on back order. Will go ahead and replace UI and test operation. Removed failed UI and installed new. Performed diagnostics mode and placed unit in defrost. Monitored operation and did no longer hear 3 way valve trying to open in defrost mode. Informed customer that they could power off unit and allow to defrost or wait 2 weeks for unit to catch up on defrosting for normal operation. All tested good, no water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to install previous diagnosed part. Gained access to RC evaporator. Thawed frozen evaporator with steamer. Removed failed fan assembly and installed new. Assembled unit and performed diagnostics mode. Tested fan and sensor, checked temperature settings and set to recommend temperature. All tested good, no water leaks detected during service. Allow 24 hours for unit to reach normal temperature and 48 for unit to start producing ice.

Sr#7733339767 arrived onsite for not cooling down at all in the fridge cabinet after last visit. Called techline and was advised that tests pointed to out of range fresh food evap thermistors. Tested thermistors from control and found out of range. Replaced evap cover to repair. Unit appears to be in good working order following repair.

Arrived onsite and found a worn and loose pad allowing the door to drop when opened.

Arrived onsite for broken handle. Found a screw had backed out. Customer kept screw. Reinstalled screw to repair handle. All checks good. Unit is now operating as designed.
