Arrived on site to test unit for unit not starting. Test unit and found control board not reading door being closed. Will need to replace new control board customer declined estimate.

"Arrived on site to insect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for ice maker error codes and found none (photo). Took the unit out of diagnostics and tested temps in the RC=33 degrees on setting of 34 and FC=4 on setting of -2. I placed the unit back in diagnostics and tested the ice maker in test 57 and it harvested as designed. I tested the fill tube in test 45 and heard the valve humming but no water dispensing into the tray. I tested the ice level controls and they passed. When I opened the left FC door, I found the top hinge was damaged on the door (photos) and will need to be replaced. I disassembled the water box and removed the ice box housing and found the fill tube heater and ice box fascia heater had shorted. The fill tube had gotten so hot it broke and I found where the heater had melted the cabinet above the ice box housing (photos). I contacted techline and spoke to Austin and advised the complaint and my findings and Austin requested photos of the cabinet damage. After reviewing the photos, Austin advised that the cabinet damage is not a threat to the functioning of the unit and to repair the damage. Austin recommended replacing the fill tube, heater and hv control at the least and provided SR#7736642725. I advised the customer of my conversation with techline and am ordering the fill tube heater, fill tube, ice box cover, ice box fascia, UI, left RC door and CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST. I will return with all prescreened parts and office to schedule return service. Requesting the office to scale parts replacement while waiting on the door to arrive. "MED6200KW0 Arrived to inspect no power. I found the circuit breaker had been tripped and the customer had not been shown by their builder, where to find them. I advised the customer on my findings and where the 240VAC breakers were located on the dwelling. The unit heated and cycled as designed. Operational test good."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has abnormal smells coming from the refrigerator. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm an odd smell coming out of the refrigerator and disassembled the unit. Could not find any evidence of any residue or burning anywhere inside of the refrigerator. Due to the smell, I did it by the customer that it was most likely that either something spilled in the refrigerator or some thing was hot going into the refrigerator and the air from the food was recycled throughout the unit, causing the abnormal smell. The customer advised that they did not have anything expire or anything spell inside the refrigerator and its been like this for the last few months. They have tried using baking soda and cleaning out the fridge with no resolution. The customer advised that they also had read online that there is a known issue with the drain tube, sucking in dirty water air from the drip pan beneath the unit. I removed the front grill from the drip pan area and could not detect any abnormal smell is coming from the drip pan. I called whirlpool techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7736646463. He advised that based on all my checks, there is nothing from the refrigerator side that would be causing this issue, and it would have to be something that the customer put inside of the refrigerator that initially caused the smell and because of the way that this unit recirculates air, it gets stuck in the Styrofoam through the air channels and will cause this to continue to smell for us a period of time. He advised to have the customer clean out the refrigerator with warm soap and water and two have the customer put charcoal briquettes that are not ready late or do not have any gas in them to absorb the smells. We advised to make no repairs on this unit at this time. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for f9e0 error and found range was wired at the block. Corrected wiring. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair. All checks good.

"Arrived on site to test unit for low flames, tested unit found all burners igniting properly and flames are good, customer stated that front right burner does not boil water, put a pot of water and it started to boil reaching temp at 218 degrees, customer stated that the middle burner boils water hotter, put pot on middle burner and it started to boil reaching temp at 220 degrees, advised customer that middle burner will heat pot up faster because it is about 1/2 inch closer to the pot, unit is running as designed, job complete"

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making abnormal sounds during the spin cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit makes a jet engine sound the entire spin cycle and it just started a week and a half ago. Ran the unit through a high speed span and confirm the customers complaint. Check underneath and found, the slider worn. Did confirm that sound I heard was from the gearcase self. Replaced the gearcase and slider and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site to test unit for not washing. Test unit and found bad wash motor. Replaced sump and motor. Test unit and unit test good no leaks present job complete.

"Arrived on site for dishwasher, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was unit showed error code E4. I ran unit and pulled out the machine and had water sitting in the float but no fisical leaks where present. Maintenance was there and I showed that no leaks where present and the issue can be overflowing from to much suds. No leaks where present at this time. Job completed. Office to collect SVC ONLY from CC ON FILE."

Arrived onsite and replaced the icemaker assembly. Due to no function following prior replacement. Customer to observe for resumed operation. No charge.

"KDTE254ESS0 Arrived to inspect continuous running after electrical strike. I entered service test mode and found no stored error codes. I cleared the unit regardless, and allowed it to enter service mode testing. All functions were present and the unit operated as designed. Discussion with the customer revealed they had recently started using pre-measured pods. They have treated water and pre-rinse and I recommended they return to their prior detergent and explained the reason for the elongated cycle, due to over- detergenting. No leaks observed during service.

"WFE540H0ES1 Arrived to inspect erratic heating. I found the bake element would energize anytime the make/break on the L1 line was closed. This included any bake or broil setting and anytime the unit was put into service tweet mode. I verified the contacts closed with the unit unplugged and had a near perfect .2 ohms. Tapping the relay caused the relay to open.

"Arrived on site to inspect range tripping the breaker. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that when using the cooktop the unit works fine, but when they use the oven the breaker will trip. I tested the oven on bake at 350 degrees and turned the cooktop burners on and found the unit tripped the breaker. I pulled the unit out and removed the back panel to gain access to the harness. I found the sensor harness was pinched in between the back panel and control panel but the protective cover on the harness was not broken and no burn marks found on the metal. I found the power cord was crimped near the terminal block as well. I tested voltage and got 246V at the outlet and the terminal block. I retested the unit on bake at 350 and with all cooktop burners turned on and the unit operated as designed. I contacted techline and spoke to Joe and advised of the complaint and my findings. Joe had me test amp draw at the terminal block with just the oven on and I found 20-25amps. I turned the front right burner on and amp reading went up to 30-33amps. When I turned the front left burner on, the amp draw spiked at 44amps and then dropped down to 33-36amps. Joe recommended replacing the power cord

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not dispensing ice. On inspection check the motor gear and it was good. I saw that the teeth in the ice bin were frozen over not allowing the auger to turn. I defrosted the ice bin auger ant tested the ice dispenser. It is now dispensing ice informed the customer to dump ice every 45 days to help keep this issue from happening again. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to follow up on dishwasher that was still not draining / finishing cycles. On arrival I tested the unit. Unit runs drain pump excessively even when water is out and will not fill during a normal cycle. This leads me to believe unit has a failure in the pressure / float switch. The unit is also still experiencing issues draining, and I have to try the drain several times before it will actually move the water out. This is likely due to a sticking check ball from buildup in the sump. Advised customer we need to replace the sump/pressure switch to continue repair. ordrng 1 WD21X25699 (Control) and 1 WD21X25468 (Pressure Sensor) and 1 WD19X27779 (Sump) and 1 WD19X25700 (Wash Motor)"

Arrived onsite for dryer making a noise. On inspection found a rattle that the customer said it started after the wheels and the belt pulley was replaced. I gain access to the dryer and found the 2 screws missing 1 on the lent housing was missing and the other was where the vent hose connects to the dryer. The support bracket was missing the screw. Fixed both issues and reassembly the unit. The rattle is now gone and other noise has appeared. I informed the customer that the age of the u it you are going to have noise pop up as th em it gets order.

Arrived on site for washer making loud noise at end of cycle with one minute left on timer. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found f0e7 and f6e3 in diagnostics. After further inspection I found rotor screw had come free of gearcase and rotor wad loose. Installed new rotor and screw and added locktight to insure screw wouldnt back out. Found washer working as designed with no leaks. Call complete

Arrived on site for making loud noise. Upon arrival ran diagnostics and there are no saved error codes. Ran automatic test cycle and found after spin when basket begins to stop the grinding begins at the bottom of unit. Raised unit to inspect lower components. Found that the cam has worn teeth and has failed . Replaced cam W10721967 and test unit. Unit is no longer grinding. Ran a quick cycle with clothes. Unit is operating as designed. Remaining sound during spin cycle is drain hose tapping the back of unit. Recommend solutions to customer. No leaks present at this time. Job complete

"Arrived on site for RC not cooling. Upon arrival inspected unit and found Fc is cooling correct,but hot in RC. Found ice blocking airflow from fc to Rc. "Arrived on site for control not displaying correctly . Control will go blank when door is opened

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer tripping the breaker. Upon further inspection, I found the unit with no power at the outlet and the breaker was tripped. I cycled power at the breaker (GFCI) and resumed to test the unit. I tested the unit and it operated as designed. Unplugged the unit to test the components and found the fuse, cutoff, thermostat and element all had good continuity and all in good standing. I found the terminal block wired correctly (photo) with good voltage (photo) 248V at the wall and 244V while operating. I disassembled the unit and tested the main harness and it tested good. Customer advised the breaker was replaced in 02/23 and someone had tested the unit by running a cord from the unit to the breaker (bypassing the outlet) and it operated for nearly an hour with no issues. Once I had the unit reassembled, I plugged it in to test and found the breaker had tripped when I had previously unplugged the unit. I contacted techline and spoke to Adrian and advised of the complaint and my findings and he suggested having the outlet inspected since it was previously bypassed to test and provided a field number for a service pointer. Adrian advised to not replace any parts and recommended the customer check/service the outlet and provided SR#7736632029. I contacted the Safety Team and spoke to Bianca and provided her with the SR number from techline and she documented our conversation and provided the Safety SR#7736615256. Customer signed the Incoming Voltage Waiver and I advised that I would email a receipt that will have my notes attached and the SR number they will need if they contact Whirlpool for service. No repairs made at this time and no lint observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit with the door open and the door switch closed and the unit heated as designed. Using my vent test kit, I tested the airflow to the unit and the first two tests failed (photos). I removed the vent tube from the back of the unit and retested and the unit passed (photo). I disassembled the unit and tested the ignitor and coils and found the coils slightly out of ohms range. The ignitor was good. I removed and replaced the coils; removed the lint from inside the unit and reassembled the unit and retested and unit is heating as designed. I recommended the customer have their vents checked/cleaned. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for dryer, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was making sure the electrical cord was properly connected. I inspected and found all the wires lose. I tighten the screws and tested. Unit is now installed properly."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is still not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. Found a defrost issue in the freezer section and gained access to the control. Checked resistance through the heater from the control and found an open line. Disassembled the evaporator section and found all wires connected. Disconnected the freezer Molex and checked resistance through the heater and fuses. Found it registering 87.9 ohms of resistance, indicating a good circuit. I checked resistance from the control again and found an open line. Checked Continuity on the lower harness and the compressor area going up into the molex at the bottom cabinet. Found proper continuity. I called Whirlpool Techline ands spoke to Chris SR# 7736635468. He had me run through a couple more checks and advise that based on the current information, it would appear that there was a broken wire in the cabinet.

Arrived on site for an ice machine. That is not making full slabs of ice. Inspected unit and work area. Found the ice bin full of ice and the customer advised that the unit does not make a full slab of ice. Found the unit in the middle of an icemaking cycle and found a full sheet being made on the evaporator plate. Found the unit finish the cycle and harvest and slide across the grid cutter. The customer advised that it did not fill the entire grid cutter which is why she assumed that the unit was not making a false lab. I did explain to the customer that that is normal operation as the grid cutter is larger than the Ice sheet that will come off the evaporator plate. the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite and found door error. No microwave operation. Tested bus fuse which show closed and food. Cleaned wiring and connections on control and restarted. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair. No parts needed. Advised customer that the microwave door tensioner bars ware not operating and the door is weak. Possible switch failure. Advised that some parts are for replacement on the microwave and further repair may not be adviseable.

Found the unit unplugged and as soon as the unit was plugged in, found the unit attempting to unlock the lid, but not unlocking. The control would not do anything until the lid was unlocked and kept trying to unlock the lid. Gained access underneath and was able to release the strike from the latch assembly. Replaced the latch assembly and ran the unit three diagnostics. Found an F5 E3 (lid will not unlock) error code. Around the unit through diagnostic testing and all tests worked and operated as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for burner not igniting. On inspection it was taking several sparks to ignite. The igniter was spark down, I replaced the burner head and the orifice. Now the burner ignite on the first or second spark. The unit is operating as designed and no gas leaks detected during service."

"Arrived onsite to inspect refrigerator making clicking noises at the dog house during operation that the unit did not normally make. Upon arrival i confirmed clicking noises as the control in the dog house. I found that the evaporator fan is turning on, then the unit clicks the evaporator fan looses voltage and then the control clicks again and the fan turns back on and the cycle repeats. The control needs to be replaced.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that has no heat. Inspected unit and work area. The customer complained that the dryer with tumble but not heat. Just the unit and confirm the customer complaint. Check voltage off the back of the unit and found 120 V from Line 1 to neutral, 22V from Line 2 to neutral and 77 V from Line 1 to Line 2 indicating an issue with the electrical supply. The customer turned off the breaker and turned the breaker back on, found proper voltage and polarity after breaker was reset. Tested the unit on a time dry high heat cycle and found the unit heating and operating as designed. Did advise the customer that the issue was with her electrical spy and have them sign the incoming voltage waiver. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a wall oven microwave combo that is not heating in the microwave intermittently. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise when they close the door softly, sometimes the unit will not turn on, but if they slam the door or if they shut the door fairly hard, the unit will work. Tested the unit and the customer tried to emulate the same issues she was having. Found that when she pulled open the door slightly that it would intermittently work or not. Spoke to JC and was advised this is normal operation, and that the customer asked to close the door firmly in order to ensure that the microwave turns on for safety reasons and to engage in the interlock switches. I called whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Adrian SR# 7736634070. He advised that this is normal operation as well, and that the door needs to be firm and closed in order to run properly. He advised that if theres no bowing on the cabinet on the front of the microwave, the unit is working as designed to make note further repairs. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a cooktop that wont light sometimes and it has small flames upon inspection I found that the regulator was set to LP when the customer as NG I corrected theirs and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed

Arrived on site for erratic temps in fresh food . FZ temps are normal. Found fresh food evap thermistor having moisture building up in connection from previous repair . Replaced thermistor . No water leaks at this time. Job complete

I ran unit in a quick cycle and found that the unit would spin freely but like 3 min in the unit would stop and show error code LE Locked motor error. I gained access to the back and removed cover to expose the rotor and stator. Rotated the rotor manually and spun freely. I removed the main bolt to remove the rotor to inspect the magnets and the stator and was not successful , i tried to use a mallet and tap on the rotor but did not work. I informed the customer I would need to replace the rotor and stator and possibly the tub if its not able to come off freely. Customer would like. A second opinion on the diagnosis.

"KDTM604KPS0 Arrived to inspect no power. I found the junction block screws had not been tightened as designed and caused the wiring to fail. I corrected the issue and tested. The unit resumed all normal functions and I verified all loads operated as designed, with expected amp draw. No leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site and found saved error codes F7E1,F7E6, for motor failure. Inspected lower assembly and found previous wire repair didnt hold. Redid wire repair and washer will now agitate and spin correctly and completes a calibration cycle and automatic diagnostic cycle, job complete. "Arrived on site and found customer experienced frost buildup behind deli drawer on fresh food evaporator and frost buildup in freezer due to air gap. Frost buildup in freezer also caused no ice production. Since moving locations And defrosting Manually refrigerator operation has improved. Still found air gaps on the freezer door and both rails/freezer bracket would need to be replaced. If fresh food section frosted over again evaporator motor assembly with thermistor would need to be replaced.

Arrived on site for Special Project element replacement. Upon arrival replaced element. Test unit and is operating as designed. No leaks present at this time. Job complete

Arrived onsite for dryer that is no longer heating. Upon inspection I found that the heating element had blown. I replace the element and tested the unit and found the unit operating as designed

Arrived onsite for icemaker not producing ice. On inspection found the fill tube frozen. Took temperatures in the fc was -2 tested the water valve and it was working. Water was dispensing out of the dispenser with good flow. I called for water for the icemaker and none came. I steamed the fill tube and called for water again and it filled the tray this time. The customer said that it was hit and miss if it made ice. Told customer to call if ice production stops.

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer throwing F21 error. Tested unit and found drain pump is making a loud rumbling noise and moving no water. Provided estimate for a new drain pump. Replaced pump and tested. Confirmed proper function with no water leaks. Repair completed."

Arrived on site to test unit for not cooling properly. Exposed both evaps and found no frost pattern. Low side was pulling a vacuum at -28psi and high side was 35ish psi. Opened balance to both evaps and ran nitrogen through system. Heard hissing sound from appeared to be RC evap. Applied bubble solution and found no leaks from solder joints. Hissing was coming from inside cabinet. Pushed my bubble solution applicator up against lines exiting cabinet and verified leaking from in cabinet. Presented findings with Techline and was advised unit would be sent for review as leak is not accessible and cannot be repaired. Advised customer she would be contacted within 3-5 business days. "Arrived on site to test unit for water leak, unit is located in apartment 1416, customer stated that water is leaking from the door, inspected below and found that it has no cracks or holes but a lot of pet has has accumulated under door not allowing the door to seal properly, removed hair and cleaned below, door is now sealing properly no leaks detected job complete"

Arrived on site unit needed adjustment unit working as designed.

"Arrived onsite for microwave with no power. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found fuse blown. Customer had same issue 10/3/22, called Whirlpool and part wound be covered. / Replaced fuse and tested. Unit is functioning properly. Job complete.

Arrived on site for no cool fridge . Found frost build on evap cover . Checked evap harnes . All connections good . Heater is energizing. Replaced control and dampner thermistor . No water leaks detected at this time. Job complete .

Arrived on site for refrigerator needing previously diagnosed rc evap motor and ice door seperator. Upon arrival reconfirmed issue and installed both parts. Reassembled and tested unit. Found refrigerator working as designed

"Arrived on site for no,ice. Ran diagnostics water valve and pumps passed,compressor powered on no frost forming on evaporator plate diagnosed a leak in the system parts covered by manufacture sealed system warranty. Customer will call into office if they approve repair.

"WRX735SDHZ08 Arrived to inspect no water dispenser. The customer informed me the unit was just installed and was a replacement for the one this service was created for. I found the unit would react to dispenser button presses and voltage was present. I found the connector at the valve had pins that were over-expanded and after correcting, the issue was resolved. The unit operated as designed, no leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Installed the hinges and tested them. The door close all the way now and the light goes out now to. The unit is operating as designed and no gas leaks detected during service.

Arrived onsite for a washer that is making noise when in use. Upon inspection I found that the cam was damaged. I replace the cam and the actuator and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed no leak of any kids found at this time

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not spinning the drum. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does not seem to wash her clothes and will spin out, but does not actually wash. Ran it through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test with the lit up and found during agitation, the agitator moving slightly, but not Agitating the way it should. Put my hand on the agitator while it was agitating and found that I could hold it in place with the motor turning. Removed the agitator and found the agitator completely stripped on the inside. Did ask the customer about the low types that she washes, including heavy duty items. She did advise that she does wash rugs, blankets, and other bulky items in this washer. Did explain to the customer that those kinds of items can cause this issue; ordrng 1 WP3951744 (Agitator)"

Arrived on site to test unit for not turning off. Found shorted keypad customer said he was told 5 year warranty. Couldnt find anything with 5 year warranty saying it covers electronic. It says 5 year warranty on some parts. Advissed customer not to use the unit due to safety concerns. Oven not letting you turn it off have you have to turn the breaker off in order to stop the unit from heating.
