"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I found both compartments not cooling properly. I found ice on the FC evap cover. I removed the cover and found the evaporator engulfed in ice/frost. Using my steamer, I removed the ice from the thermistor and tested ohms and found the thermistor reading 3461ohms, which at temp readings, its reading that its approximately 67 degrees. I removed and replaced the thermistor and tested and its reading properly now. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the defrost heater and it is operating as designed. I left the heater on to help remove the ice and using my steamer, I removed the remaining ice. I found the suction line badly bent where it does into the cabinet liner (photo). I recommended that the customer monitor the unit and if they notice ice/frost on the evap cover again to call it in for service. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Found bottom spray arm not turning properly. Found dish in bottom interfering with spray arm (see SD-pic). Removed dish and continued to monitor test cycle. "Arrived onsite for washer making tapping noise when spin cycle starts. Upon arrival tested unit with load. Found that when the spin cycle first starts for the first few seconds there is a tapping sound. After that the spin cycle is normal. Called tech line for assistance. Tech stated that the beginning of a spin cycle the load is trying to balance itself. Some of the noise could be caused at that stage, then leveled out. Provided SR#7733329543. Also recommended taking off top and back panel to inspect for anything loose. Did as instructed. Did not find any loose cable, hose or wire harness. Documented with tech line. Test load competed as designed with the exception of the noise at the beginning of the spin cycle. Customer stated noise is present on every load. Customer will monitor but more than likely will be reaching out to Maytag."

I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F7E1 & F4E3. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. While testing, I checked amp draw to the components and found the wash motor getting up to 2amps which is too high. Also found the element is bad. I removed the outer door panel and tested the motor and element at the control and found both bad. Also found the vent leaking water from the gasket area. I am,ordering the sump/motor assembly, vent and element and office to schedule return service. I removed the outer door panel and tested the motor from P5-1 to P5-2 and got 16.6ohms. Tested the harness and it was good. I gained chess to the bottom of the unit me found the belt wearing down with debris everywhere. I removed the cam and found some excess play in the gearcase shaft. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator making loud humming noise. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise and immediately I could tell it was the fan hitting ice. I removed the bottom crisper drawer and found a block of ice on the RC evap cover (photo). I attempted to remove some the ice/frost and could tell the evap drip pan was badly warped. I had my customer sign the waiver of damages from defrosting refrigerator and recommended that the customer pull the unit out and unplug it and place towels around the back of it to help absorb any water that may leak when defrosting the unit. I advised the customer on what parts needed to be replaced. Due to the amount of ice on the evaporator, I rescheduled for 04/20/22 (at customer request) and ordered a CNOTE-LSO and AUTHORIZATION to replace the RC evap motor/harness, support, UI, and drip pan kit. No water leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 CNOTE (LSO) and 1 CNOTE (AUTHORIZATION)"

The fill valve does make a loud fill noise, but all is working. Issue seems like it could stem from a failing water level sensor, and the water valve has a service pointer with an updated quieter part. The door switch plunger is also a bit loose and having a hard time making good contact to trigger the panel and lights. I advised them it is normal to feel some heat and I tested within service test mode. The heater only engaged during step 6 of the test mode, which is correct for this model and amp draw ranged from 8 down to 6.2 amps. I advised the CX of my findings and they will contact the mfg if there are further issues. No leaks observed during service."
