Arrived on site for range not working. On inspection found the oven had a error F1E1 control board lost communication. The remedy said to kill power for a few minutes and try again. Arrived onsite for a microwave that is not heating and making a weird noise. The customer stated it makes a loud humming noise. I tested the unit confirming the noise coming from the HV system and found the magnetron not firing. The customer also stated the unit does not vent correctly and blows out the top filter causing grease to build up on the cabinets. I found the damper not fitting in the house air duct correctly because the duct is to low not allowing the dampener to go all the way inside the duct. I explained to the customer that the house duct needs to be corrected. I found the capacitor open and the diode burned up causing the no heat condition. I found the magnetron and HV transformer both in spec. I replaced the diode and the capacitor. I tested the unit and found it putting out 1000 watts and working as designed. Call complete.

I found the gearcase with a bad spot in it causing a drag when turning the basket by hand. "WRX986SIHZ00 Arrived to inspect no ice. Upon arrival, the customer advised me the unit has, since calling in about the ice, lost its ability to keep items frozen within the FC. FC temperature measured at 25?F and RC was 40? The FC had not been opened for many hours, prior to my arrival. The compressor could be heard running and the front of the condenser was cool (floor/room temp) to the touch. I found the braze joint at the dye drier had failed and was showing signs of long-term leakage. Tapping the system, the static pressure was 19/19. I recovered the system and then corrected the leaking the sealed system. I vacuumed to 210 microns and allowed the unit to sit for an additional 15 min. Holding vacuum, I charged with the MFG prescribed refrigerant charge. The unit started cooling as designed. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.

"KURL114KSB00 Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered part. I installed the control that was ordered by prior tech and there was no change. I elected to instal the UI and still no change. I verified all loads and sensors, the unit finally engaged and this unit is one of the type that has a several minute dwell time prior to cooling system engagement. I found the cause of the beeping was loss of cooling and the unit has a failed sealed system. There was no heat on the high side and only a 5-10 degree cooling at the evap for. Gurgling could be heard within the evaporator and I suspected a low side leak. During inspection, I found the rubber protector on the evaporator split and contacted the tech line, tech Butch. I advised of my findings, but the tech said that the compressor will still need to be replaced prior to any further steps. File# 7736146659. Office to order compressor, service port and dye drier. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that the left side deli drawer will not close fully and stay gapped open about a 1/4 inch sometimes and the dispenser button will stick and the customer has to pull the pad out by hand then the dispenser stops. I could not duplicate either problem at this time and I tried the drawer and the dispenser multiple times. I could feel a rough spot in the dispenser paddle when depressing and releasing it. Need to replace the pad, spring and shield for the dispenser issue and explained to the customer that all we can do it replace the left and right side closure for the left deli drawer. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the RC evap thermistor being bad and RC section not going into to defrost mode, I removed and replaced the RC evap cover with thermistor and hv control. When I went to replace the right RC door gasket, I found the gasket to be wrongly packaged as I got the FC door gasket. The packaging had the correct part number. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. Notified the office of the issue and ordered the right RC door gasket and CNOTE-RETURNING TECH TO INSPECT. Office to schedule return service. No water leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 W10917313 (Right RC door gasket) and 1 CNOTE (TECH TO INSPECT DOOR GASLET BEFORE RETURNING)"

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the defrost element and defrost bimetal failures, I was remove and receive both parts. However, while replacing the element, the new part broke (glass). I advised the customer of the issue and notified the office to reschedule as soon as possible due to the customer having only one refrigerator. I am ordering the defrost element and will replace it and the bimetal upon return service. No water leaks observed during service, office to schedule return service.; ordrng 2 WR51X10132 (Element)s"

"Arrived on site to test unit for not starting. Verified unit receiving proper voltage but not starting. Found bad thermal fuse. Used dummy thermal fuse, fuse was damaged in packaging. Found unit working as designed and ventilating properly. Element cycling as designed. Recommend replacing cutoff with high limit thermostat, thermistor and thermal fuse per Techline.
