I did find that the serial number attached was correct. Attempted to jump the icemaker and found that the icemaker motor would not turn even though proper voltage was being supplied. Ordering the correct ice maker and will bring the valve just in case. I rescheduled the customer to 2/14.; ordrng 1 W11546935 (Icemaker) and 1 W11645245 (Dual Valve)

"WFG550S0LZ1 Arrived to inspect heating issue. The customer advised the unit would intermittently not heat and sometimes would preheat, but cool too much. I found the unit having difficulties igniting, and when it did ignite, the flame had a very loud, blow torch sound, denoting an incorrectly set air shutter. Inspection of the air shutter revealed it was all the way open, the setting for high altitude use, and I correctly set the air shutter for optimal combustion at the local altitude. Operational test good, no gas leaks detected during service."

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the washer would not stop filling and they had to run a drain and spin cycle to get it to drain and the water continued to fill. Customer advised that they turned the water off and unplugged it. I plugged the unit in and turned the water back on and placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. I continued with testing and the units hot water valve failed. I removed and replaced the valve and calibrated the unit and tested and the unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect upright freezer no cool. I removed the evap cover and inspected the frost pattern and there was none. Frost was built up at the cap tube. Per previous techs diagnosis, I evacuated the system and heated the cap tube at the evaporator and removed the cap tube. I cleared the system using Nitrogen and then re-brazed the cap tube to the evaporator and removed and replaced the UV dye drier and performed a push pull test and found the suction/push good. I vacuumed the system for 25-30 mins and then installed 50g of R600 refrigerant and tested the unit. I found the frost pattern good on the evaporator and the unit beginning to cool. I reassembled the evap cover and the back cover and advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No water connections to the unit, job completed."

"Arrived onsite for dishwasher leaking. On inspection found the spray arm setting on the pump screen that popped up. I locked the screen in to place. There is a good chance that the arm was stuck in 1 position and spraying water on to the door. I pulled door panel to look in see if water was running down the inside of the door, there was no water marks on the door. When I was taking the door panel off the unit the door latch holder just crumbled into pieces. Ordering a ui panel, then in the door would not stay up so ordering friction sleeves. Arrived onsite for gas leak on range. On inspection when I first turn the oven on I could smell the gas. I closed the shutter on the gas regulator to 1/3 opening. I then turn the oven on again and did not smell the gas when it ignite. Did this several times since the customer said that they do not smell the gas all the time. "Put on site for a microwave that is sparking inside of the microwave. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me what was happening in immediately. The sparks would be coming out of the turntable motor area. Found massive arcing marks inside on the bottom underneath the turntable motor. I checked underneath the turntable motor and did not find any grounding of wiring or burning underneath the turntable motor itself. I did advise the customer that the turntable motor and the support would need to be replaced, but that with the arcing from the motor, it could cause hotspots of radiation inside of a microwave. I called Whirlpool Safety team and spoke to Elva Marie Sr# 7738362996. She advised that the customer can proceed with repair outside of warranty, but that they would not cover the repair due to the unit being over two years out of warranty. The customer had stated that she did not want to pay for the repair out-of-pocket and if whirlpool not cover the repair, she would just buy a new microwave. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is making a grinding noise. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise. The unit will run fine for the first half the wash cycle and then they will make the noise. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I ran the unit through two diagnostic cycles and could not get the machine to replicate any abnormal noises. I did advise the customer that he did have a few things that were impeding the spray arms, and that couldve been causing an abnormal rubbing and grinding sound. Other than that, I did tell him that there was nothing I could fine within the dishwasher that would be causing this issue. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer error code. Upon further inspection, I found the unit stacked and I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F6E3-ACU not hearing MCU. Cleared the code and continued with testing. I found that the hot water valve at the wall was not turned on and the unit failed to spin. I, along with maintenance staff, unstacked the dryer from the washer and I removed the top panel and tested the motor and found it within ohms range. I removed and replaced the main control (ACU) and retested and unit is operating as designed. Maintenance staff assisted in restocking the units and I placed the units back in their space and retested. Unit continues to operate as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not drying clothing. Upon further inspection, I tested the airflow to the unit with my vent test kit and the unit passed (photo). I tested the unit on timed dry with high heat and the element failed to come on. I disassembled,bled the unit and removed the element to find the coil was broken. Also found lint inside the unit (before photo). I replaced the element and cleaned the roller axles and tension pulley axle and found the drive belt is beginning to badly fray. Using a belt from my van stock from a dryer repair kit (661570V-belt/repair kit-4392067), I replaced the old belt and vacuumed the lint from the unit (after photo) and reassembled the unit. Retested and the unit is operating as designed. No lint observed at the end of service, job completed."
