Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not making ice. The customer also stated that before it stopped they were finding solid sheets of ice in the ice bucket. I found the FC at 5 degrees. I found no ice in the mold. I removed the icemaker and found the mold warped and that was causing water to leak into the bucket. I found the icemaker funnel and tube frozen over with ice. I replaced the icemaker and put it in a harvest multiple times before mounting it to test the fill valve and found it working as designed and never weeping. I suspect a piece of debris had gotten in the valve and finally passed thru. I mounted the icemaker and ran another harvest to fill it. All is working as designed. Call complete. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles and is making strange noises. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me several videos where the unit was making abnormal noises and going off balance. the customer also complained that a little over a month ago, the unit started leaking oil all over the ground. I did verify that the gear case was leaking underneath the unit. I went to remove the rotor and had my T-30 bit break into the rotor screw due to the screw being seized in the gearcase. I went to remove the agitator and found the agitator completely seized on top of the driveshaft and could not be removed. I tested the suspension and found the suspension was worn as well. Ordering the gearcase, basket, tub, slider, clutch, rotor, stator, Spanner nut, drain filter, suspension, agitator, and screws for repair and will return with other sent parts. "Arrived on site to inspect freezer not cooling . Upon initial inspection took temperature temp was reading 4 to 7 degrees F. The customer informed me that their freezer had thawed everything inside. They were able to set it to fast freeze and within 12 hrs it was back to normal. I proceed to do a full check on the freezer. I placed the unit into diagnostics showing no error codes, thermistors tested good. I check the compressor, fans and gasket and all tested fine. The customer advised that after washing a load, their clothes got stuck in the washer, and all that water had drained, but the unit was continually draining and would not unlock the door. I attempted to run the unit into diagnostics and could not get the unit to turn on no matter what I did. I unplug the unit several times in the unit with only consistently try to drain. I gained access to the control and checked all my loads. I found the drain pump registering 20.8 ohmd of resistance indicating a good drain pump. I checked the windings on the motor and found both windings reading 9.5 ohms of resistance, indicating a good motor. I went ahead and replaced the control and tested the unit. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the ice maker hasnt worked since it was replaced. I gained access to the ice maker and all harness connections were good. I checked the harnesses at the bottom left corner and all were good. Using my jumper wire, I tested the ice maker and it harvested and filled as designed. When I tested the emitter/receiver boards, I had the bin removed and the display was showing 01-bin full or not present. I placed he bin back in its space and the display continued to show 01. Using an emitter/receiver board from my van stock (W10898445/W10870822), I removed and replaced the boards and retested and unit is operating as designed. I explained to the customer how the boards function and demonstrated by retesting in diagnostics and showing how the display changes from 01 to 02 when the bin is present. Spoke with management (MS) and advised the main control was not needed at last service call and the emitter/receiver boards were the issue. I was advised to install the parts at no charge. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I gained access to the compressor and condenser area and found the condenser fan blade hitting the housing. I checked the condenser fan and found the shaft was wobbling from side to side causing the issue. I replaced the condenser fan and tested the unit. The customer advised that the unit will consistently not finish the cycle and it sounds like its draining on and off repeatedly. Inspected unit and work area. I found the unit seemed dead on arrival as none of the buttons were working. I gained access to the control and found lights on the control indicating power being supplied. I checked voltage going to the drain pump and found 121 V. I want to lift up the washing machine and found the drain pump immediately kicked back on. I removed the pressure hose from the control and still found the unit trying to drain. After leading down the unit, I found the drain pump kicked back off. After lifting it up again, I found the drain pump reactivate, indicating an issue with the harness. I checked underneath and could not find any wire splits anywhere visible. Ordering the lower harness and will return with the control for repair. I rescheduled the customer to 8/6.; ordrng 1 W11665968 (Lower harness)"

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is intermittently not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated that he washes alone twice a week and that sometimes the unit will finish through the cycle but other times it wont. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test, and the unit ran and operated as designed. I checked the suspension and found the suspension was good. I asked the customer what type of loads where he was having problems with an advisor in generally happens when he runs his sheets and towels together. He advised that he notices that certain items will clump together, and if he pauses it in time, he can rearrange the items and itll finish. I did advise the customer that the issue would most likely be with off-balance loads. The customer advised that would make signs as some of his loads are finishing cycles. He just wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong with the unit. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit is cooling but its not cold enough to make ice and is taking days to freeze bottles of water. I checked temperature in the freezer section and found it at 23?F. I checked the refrigerator and found it at 44?F. I checked pressures off the backside of the unit and found it in a vacuum at -10 psi, and the high side was at 100 psi. I checked for any signs of leaks and found none present in the evaporator area or compressor and condenser areas. I spoke to SW and GC. They advise that the issue would most likely be with the unit being under or over-charged. I was also advised to run the vacuum on the unit for at least 30 minutes prior to charging it. I replaced the drier and vacuumed down the unit to -31 psi and vacuum down the unit for over 30 minutes and charge the unit up with 68 g of R600 refrigerant. Advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

Arrived on site to inspect washer shaking while in spin cycle. Upon initial inspection I found that the washer was quite un level (photo). I then check the floor and the floor is also un level. I proceeded to make an adjustment to the right front and right rear legs to compensate for the uneven floor. I observed that the basket is defective and does not have any of the drainage holes punched completely due to factory defect. This would be the ultimate cause of the washer not balancing. "Arrived on site for gasket torn. On Inspection the fc gasket was ripped on the top. Pulled the old gasket and installed the new one. Customer showed me the ice bin, the ice was all clumped together. Saw the ice bin door has air gaps on both sides. Then noticed that the back wall has moisture on it and all the glass shelf have moisture on them. Ordering Evaporator motor and harness. Arrived on site for refrigerator with ice build up at the bottom of the door and the floor of the fc. Gain access to the fc Evaporator and was looking for a clogged drain and it was clear. On further inspection found the moulin at the bottom of the fc was bowed in where the ice build up was. Called WP techline and sent pics to them. They turn it o er to the engineer dept. Informed customer that they will be in touch 5-7 days. No parts were installed

On arrival verified complaint of unit not cooling correctly both sections. Visual inspection found ice maker is functioning and has a full ice bin. RC product temp is 37 set at 37 and FC is 0 set at 0. Advised customer they can adjust temp further for customer satisfaction but the unit is currently cooling correctly. Job complete no parts installed.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, found that the cut off thermostat was open. Checked condition of element observing no signs of discoloration or evidence of warping or shorts. Replaced cut off and cycling thermostat, reassembled and tested unit. Tested unit on timed dry and checked the cycling temperatures. Unit is working as designed, no obvious signs of airflow restriction. 280148"

Arrived on site for refrigerator not making any ice. Verified temp in freezer =-1f. 35 in refrigerator. Icemaker test shows e5. Icemaker passed harvest test. Does not fill with water. Removed icemaker and found fill tube heater does not secure properly in place going to cover and cold air from Icemaker freezing fill tube beyond its capacity. Control working as I used heater to thaw line and verify valve is working. Will need new fill tube. Reset for mon am; ordrng 1 W11087201 (Fill tube heater) and 1 WPW10598013 (Cover)

Arrived on site to inspect cooktop RF burner not operating properly upon further inspection customer provided video evidence of burner having flare ups. I referenced ServiceMatters and found a service Pinter pertaining to this issue. The pointer states that a spring choke is needed on the dual burn main orifice. It notes that some models are missing from the factory. The customers unit is missing these spring chokes (photo). I am ordering the spring chokes. W11690598. Replaced gearcase due to shifting down, replaced actuator due to failure replaced splutch due to excessive rubbing, tested unit unit is running as intended. No leaks present at this time. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not washing clothes again. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that after the previous visit, they were able to run two loads before the unit stopped working again. She advised that since then, the unit just stays in a drain. I did confirm the customers complain and ran the unit into diagnostics. I found an F1 E1 (main control failure) and F9 E1 (long drain) error codes. I found the unit was trying to drain even in diagnostics. I checked the pressure hose off the back of the unit and did not find any kinks or abnormality with the pressure hose. I checked resistance through the drain pump and found 21.3 ohms of resistance from the control. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Art SR# 7739616791. He had me check several different items, and we found the shifter from brown to black and white, showing open from the control, but proper resistance at the actuator. He advised that the line split couldve caused the control to get knocked out. He advised to replace the wire harness and control at the same time. We did not receive the Control in time for service today so I rescheduled the customer to 8/2. No parts were installed. ; schdld next appmnt for 8/2 FRI !"

"Arrived on site to inspect unit for not drying clothes. Upon arrival customer stated unit heats but takes multiple loads to dry. Inspected unit found heat cycling on and off as designed found singe marks on heater vent at back of unit showing signs of restricted air flow. Used paper test with vent paper needed to be on 80% of vent holes without vent paper was held by 20% of holes. Showed customer findings, inspected vent at wall found lint within tube, tubing wasnt excessively long or with harsh turns. Customer also stated vent goes to roof and has bird cage and has cleaned lint off the bird cage on roof previously. Recommended customer have air flow looked at due to findings of singe marks, paper test, and excess lint stuck in vent hose. Job complete. NO PARTS USED"

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that stopped producing ice. Tested unit and found an E2 error, and motor stopped almost right after it started cycling.
