Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that is not cooling properly. Found start device for compressor failed and replaced it. Tested unit and found all is functioning properly at this time. No leaks were found at time of service.

Arrived to inspect vibration and unit walking. I found the legs incorrectly set and corrected. Internal inspection showed no signs of damage and I entered and tested within manual and automatic test modes. The unit operated as designed. Found compressor struggling to turn on. Reset gfci wall outlet and unit kicked on but noticed garage lights flickering. Watched compressor cycle and when attempting to turn on again voltage to unit drops and lights flicker. Outlet unit is connected to is tied in with multiple wall outlets and garage door openers. Breaker for electrical circuit is 10amp gfci. When unit is supplied with proper voltage it runs as designed. Advised customer needs to correct issue by providing dedicated breaker and outlet for unit only as previously recommended by whirlpool tech line. No water connection to unit. Job complete."

"Arrived on site for Fridge making a buzzing noise every two minuets. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the compressor trying to kick on and then shut off. I found good voltage at the wall. I tested voltage to the start device and found 120vac when called for cooling. I swapped in a test start device, and found the same thing happening. The unit will need a compressor, uv dryer and a access stub. I spoke with PR, he is ordering parts. I spoke to the customer about lead time and it could take up to 2 months to come in. I found the vibration coming from the cardboard base under the condenser. The cardboard was beginning to bow and vibrate against the condenser when the compressor was running. I did my best to reshape the cardboard and the noise greatly reduced. I informed the customer that the cardboard cannot be removed, and it is possible the noise may come back. Unfortunately it is how the unit is designed and the more moisture that is present, the more the cardboard may bow. No fee due to being a for the same issue. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that its intermittently not filling with water. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that he can run his unit a couple times in the first time it wont fill of water but on subsequent cycles, the unit will fill up more water. Had the customer show me the time of loads that he was running and noticed he was using the extra power button which was most likely causing his issue. Pulled up the service pointer on the extra power button and explain to use to the customer. Ran a load of clothes in a normal cycle without the extra power button and found the unit filling as designed. Went over the user care guide and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is leaking and overflowing. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that she did not know if the unit was actually leaking from underneath the unit or not but that the unit did overflow when she went to use it. Checked the pressure switch and found a good connection. Checked the pressure hose and found a tear in the pressure hose on the back of the tub. Replaced the pressure hose and tested the unit. The unit began to fill and operate as designed and cut off the water and continued into the agitation cycle prior to overflowing. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance on certain cycles and is making a squeaking sound. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complain about the squeaking sound but found it only squeaking whenever you push the basket from side to side. I did check the hub and did confirm that theres no issue with the hub. Check the suspension and found the suspension was good. Checked underneath the unit and could not find any signs of rubbing or oil marks anywhere. Tested the unit and manual agitation and spin and the unit ran as designed. I did find that the washer was sitting on level and was leaned all the way to the right where the tub was pushed up against the side of the cabinet. Did explain to the customer that can cause off-balance loads. The customer stated that the unit only seems to go off balance during towel loads and that even when she tries to adjust the clothes inside of her washer, the unit will still go off balance. Ran the unit with a a load of towels and ran the unit through a drain and spin after soaking the towels. The unit ran as designed. Spoke to JC and was advised to check the rod cups up at the top of the washer to ensure that nothing was cracked or broken. Did confirm that all of them were intact. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator thats making a rattling sound. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was making a rattling sound when they initially called in but since theyve moved the refrigerator, the noise has been removed and they have not had the same issue. He didnt want me to check the unit just to make sure there wasnt anything wrong. Check the unit and could not replicate the issue. I ran through all kinds of testing with the unit and advise the customer that he mightve had an issue with the flooring causing uneven leveling and causing something to rub up against the cabinet. Arrived to inspect no heat. I found the thermal cutoff open and I removed and replaced. The unit made a loud screech and thumping noise and further inspection revealed the left rear roller wheel seized and worn partially through. I removed and replaced the wheel via rebuild kit and vacuumed excessive lint fro the cabinet. The lint screen was broken and required replacement and ordering. Op test ok. "Arrived to inspect UI button issue, gasket and ice production. I found the options button reacts and could be heard to accept input, but no settings would change. I had the CX cycle power to the unit and the issue resolved. FC temperature, K-type probe in the center of the FC, showed 12 degrees. Ice maker housing temperature was 26 in text mode 36 with the ice maker fan set to on. In normal mode the ice maker measured 26 after five minutes. The CX had ice cream and orange juice concentrate in the FC and both were not solidly frozen and mushy, denoting too warm of temperatures. The lower unit cover was incorrectly mounted and required correct seating as the lower part of the cover was not inserted into the frame. Temperatures at the compressor were within normal levels and the unit operated as designed in test mode 4 and 5. I found the drain tube completely plugged and not mounted fully on either the RC or FC drains. I corrected the issue and ensured the tube unclogged. "Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling, inspected unit and work area. Unit was unplugged at arrival, I connected unit back to the power outlet and found compressor not coming on. Pulled unit out on my floor protector and compressor was humming like it was stuck. Installed new start device and nothing same issue. At start up of compressor it would only draw 83amp and then it would shut off. PR to order parts and office to reschedule for service. No water leaks detected during service.; eml tckt failed"

After clearing errors ran a diagnostic cycle and it filled with water but wash motor didnt run. Arrived on site for a refrigerator not cooling in any compartment. Upon arrival the customers stated that the unit stopped cooling and started making a clicking sound followed by a short buzz. I was able to replicate this and found it was the start device overloading. I replaced the start device and cap and found the unit still failed. I measured amp draw to the compressor and found it would ramp to 9 amps and then just die. This indicates a bad compressor. I am ordering a SS repair. Also found Water level switch is not operating and allowing water to fill non stop. In addition Need to replace hot water fill valve.
