"Arrived on site for a dryer that wont start a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated that before it stopped running, the dryer was getting really hot without the unit being in use as well. Access to the terminal block and found proper voltage and polarity. I gained access to the back of the unit and checked all components. I found the thermal fuse open, the element open, and one of the sides of the element grounding against the heater, housing assembly causing the overheat. Ordering the heater and will return with the thermal fuse for repair. I rescheduled the customer to 8/13. No parts were installed.; ordrng 1 279838 (Element)"

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is making a thumping sound. Inspected unit and work area. And the customer complained that the unit makes a continual thumping sound throughout the entire cycle. She advised that her old dryer did not used to make these kinds of sounds. I just the unit on a high heat cycle for 20 minutes and found the unit working and operating as designed. the customer stated that the thumping noise that she was hearing during the cycle was what they were talking about. I did advise the customer that what we were hearing was normal for newer dryers. The noise was not loud or abnormal. I did go ahead and call Whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Glen SR# 7739679375. He advised that the thumping noise is due to the rollers, hitting the ridge on the fire basket. How is the basket is spinning, and that this is completely normal. "WRS331SDHM06 Arrived to inspect circuit breaker tripping. I found after discussion with the tenant that the issue was isolated to a few days, and has since not happened again. I found residual signs of an evaporator freezup that had cleared itself. I suspect the excessive moisture was the cause of the tripping and could not find any other issues with the machine. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not starting cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that after the last load, they ran, the unit kept draining and would not allow the customer to turn the unit on. I ran the unit three diagnostics and found an F0 E2 (oversuds) and F9 E1 (long drain) error codes. I went ahead and gained access to the control and blew through the pressure hose. I found something blow out of the pressure hose and reattached the pressure hose onto the control. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found the unit working and operating as designed. I had the customer run a few loads upon my departure and advised the customer that I would contact them back after a couple hours to ensure everything was running smoothly. I called the customer back and she advised that she was able to make it through three wash cycle without any issues. The unit is working and operating as designed. No parts were installed."

Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator leaking from freezer compartment. I examined the unit and traced ice back to the evap drain. I removed the drain tube from the rear and found the foam has almost completely collapsed the drain. I used a screwdriver to allow out the drain hole and then added some silicon around the drain tube. This should resolve the draining issue. No parts used. Repair completed.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise which sounded like the condenser vibrating. I removed the toeplate and placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the compressor to see if I could duplicate the noise, which I could not. I found the unit not leveled properly and leveled. Retested and still could not duplicate the noise. I recommended the customer monitor the unit and if the noise continues to contact our office to schedule service. "Arrives on site to diagnose induction cooktop not heating / making noise. Customer clarified only the large center hotplate area is affected. I tested several different cookware on the center hotplate and could not get any consistent performance on any of them. Unit normally just clicks on and off and cycles non stop. If unit does engage and stay on, it will shortly after start making a rapid clicking electrical noise, and only heats the center of the cookware. Called tech line and talked to Steve, SR7739675204. Steve recommended replacing the module / power supply part for the center hotplate, since full module assembly is not available. Can also replace hotplate at same time, but to verify function with a 12 inch cast iron skillet. Ordering power supply board for center hotplate / hotplate. Ran diagnostic cycle valves appear to be opening went to inspect valve screens for contamination found hot and cold water lines swapped. Arrived on site to test unit for lid strike broken and unit not washing properly. Replaced strike(W11457841) and found error f7e4(basket engagement failure). Inspected slider and found no issues. Arrived onsite and found unit complaint of operating with sticking door. Difficult to close and open. Repaired by adjusting strike to suit normal ease of use. All checks good. Advised customer on repair. Advised customer on normal running sounds. All checks good.

Arrived on site to test unit for draining on its own and not starting wash cycles. Found when plugged in unit is draining due to faulty pressure sensor. Replaced control(W11607637) and unit is now working as designed. No leaks detected. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine thats making abnormal noises. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit makes weird. Sounds throughout the cycle and advise that he knows that theres an issue because his daughter has the same unit and hers doesnt make the same sounds. I ran the unit through Diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed. The customer advised that the unit makes the noise within the first three minutes of starting the cycle. I started at a normal wash cycle and found the unit, making a knocking noise when the unit was spinning. The customer advised it happens throughout spin and agitation, and advised that his daughter does not have the same issue with her unit. I gained access underneath and found all components were in proper place, but found at the lower drive shaft on the gear case at fallen, causing the shaft to bounce. I went ahead and replaced the gearcase and slider due to some wear and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. W11449841 & W10734521."

Arrived on site for previous diagnosis parts. Installed the pedal and shield on the Compactor and now the trash can get eject out when the pedal is stepped on. The unit is operating as designed. W11636605 W11696574.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not completing cycles. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F2E1, F12E2 and F12E5. Clares the codes and continued with testing and while testing, the home had a power surge and the unit shut off. I restarted testing and the unit operated as designed, but at the end of testing, the F2E1 error reappeared. I contacted the owner and advised of my findings and if 08/16/24 would be a good date to return to complete repairs. Customer advised someone would be at the home. I am ordering the control panel and will return with the prescreened parts. No water leaks observed during service. Returning tech to replace the control panel and main control. "Arrived on site to test unit for no power. Customer stated when they were about to use the unit, unit would not turn on and has had a black screen since. Looked at the breaker and found it tripped. Reset breaker, while walking away heard the breaker trip immediately. Inspected unit, found no broken wires and no signs of any arcs or shorts. Replaced control (W11649136) as precautionary. Reset breaker, unit is now turning on and is heating. Advised customer if issue returns to have the builder replace the breaker due to issues with new construction home breakers. At this time unit is running as designed, job complete."
