I gained access to diagnostics and found code f1e5. I inspected the door switches and found them closing properly when not blocked. I found the magnetron in good condition. The unit will need the main control and inverter replaced and the top trim piece will need to be replace as well so it will not block the door from closing. The office will reschedule. The customer is the second home owner. Ran individual slow and heavy agitation and passed. Ran a load with towels and then found the noise apparent. Looking at washplate, it looked to be lagging as if the gears were stripped and not keeping up with the gearcase shaft. Tried removing was plate but was stuck. Notified customer that if the wash plate would not budge it will need to be forced off and possibly break. "Arrived onsite for an ice machine that has a compressor out but all other components are working properly. I tested the unit and found the compressor running and drawing 3.5 amps but the lines were all at room temperature. I found no refrigerant in the system. I found no signs of oil anywhere. I replaced the compressor and the evaporator. I vacuumed the system and it pulled down and held vacuum. I charged the system with R134A to the factory recommended charge. The pressures equalized at 60 psi and I felt the new evaporator get cold from the charge. I tested the unit and it still was not cooling. All of the lines remained at room temp. The discharge line was just a little warmer than the other lines coming out of the new compressor. When removing the LD compressor and drier I did find a lot of oil in the lines and they all flamed up when removing them but the drier beads were clean. I suspect either the new compressor is not pumping correctly and possibly a condenser leak and it is possibly full of oil. Ordering the same parts again along with a condenser. "Arrived on site for an ice machine getting to hot. Upon arrival the customer stated the units exterior will get to hot, and it will actually warm up their drinks in the drawer next to it. They also found slower ice production, and the bin wont get as full as it used to. Upon further inspection I found the unit in a temp controlled room, and the ice bin with ice that had proper thickness. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found all working as designed. I then gained access to the condenser and found it clean. I let the unit naturally harvest and found it ran through as designed. I called techline and spoke to Andrew and received SR# 7733977367. Andrew stated it could be an intermittent condenser fan or a SS failure. I d the customer for the condenser fan for 03.97 and 59.99 for service/labor. The total coming to 93.99 after . "Arrived on site with the gas company and plumber. The gas company read the pressure at the wall and found it at roughly 11.5, which is within range for the unit per the units user care guide. We installed the new manifolds and then tested the unit. We found with the gas leak detector touching the burner head it would go off. However, when it was just in the surrounding area it generally wouldnt. I advised the customer it could be residual LP within the manifold area from when we initially turned the gas back on. I called techline and spoke to Andrew and kept SR# 7733888283. Andrew transferred me to the safety team and I spoke to Grace. I was transferred back to techline and spoke to Austin and he recommended waiting to see if the LP dissipates and watch the gas readings, for he agreed it may be residual LP. "Arrived on site and found noise customer is describing is drain pump. Actual complaint is washer doesnt complete cycles. Started washer in a diagnostic cycle and on step two, hot water fills for two minutes stops, then trickles in for a few seconds stops and then fills for Five more seconds before moving onto step three and draining. Washer completes diagnostic cycle besides that. Set washer into a normal cycle and found on tap cold only cold water is barely trickling in. Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has a loose gasket again. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that she has attempted to push in the gasket as the last technician has advised but that its popping out of the door within the first 2 to 3 times that she opens the door again. Arrived onsite for a washer to replace previous diagnosed parts. We replaced the main control and tested the washer. The UI had no response when pressing power or any other selection. I checked voltage at the UI from the main control and was getting 5VDC and 15VDC. I called techline and spoke with Cris SR# 7733972814. I explained that the UI was lighting up with the old control but just not responding. Cris stated to replace the UI again because it is getting the correct voltage and is doing nothing. I returned later in the evening with the UI and console. I replaced the UI with the new console and tested getting the same results with the UI appearing dead and not responding with 5VDC and 15VDC present at the UI. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator humming and freezing over. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the noises are coming from the freezer section and theres ice built up in the FC section. I inspected the FC section and found ice on both rails, drawers and moisture at the top of the FC section evidence of an air leak. I closed the FC door and inspected the gasket and found no air gaps. I tested the door closure and it is closing and sealing properly. I advised the customer that the freezer had been left open at some point to allow the warm air inside and it created the moisture from colliding with the cold air and once the door closed completely, the moisture froze up creating all of the ice. I disassembled the FC section and inspected the FC evaporator and it has a good frost pattern. Reassembled the FC section and customer questioned about the RC door closure. When I went to demonstrate I found the right RC door gasket badly torn. I advised that it could potentially have some play in the FC section freezing up, but more than likely the FC door was cracked open at some point. I am ordering the right RC door gasket and both FC drawer stops and will return with all prescreened parts. Returning tech will need to replace the gasket, both stops and the ui/hv control kit. I tested the ice maker in diagnostics test #56 and there were no errors. Tested harvest in test 57 and it harvested as designed. Tested the filk tube and found it frozen. Also found ice built up on the ice box fascia and ice bin door gasket. I found ice built up at the back of the ice maker housing. Also found the right RC door gasket is torn. I removed no replaced the evap motor and retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Upon further inspection, I tested the ice dispenser and when the door was to close, it remained approximately half way open. I found where the ice door had come loose from the arm. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit leaks water every 3 days or so and it puddles at the front left corner area. I tested the ice maker fill tube and it did not leak. I tested the water dispenser and no leaks. Pulled the unit out and inspected the drain tube and found no water on or near the FC drain tube. When I pulled the RC drain tube from the chassis, water spilled out. I inspected the inside of the tube and found a black rubber cap that goes on a new evaporator suction line, before its installed (photo), that was blocking the water flow from the RC evaporator when it defrosts. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the airflow with my vent test kit and it passed both tests. I tested the unit in timed dry on high heat and the unit never heated. I disassembled the unit and tested the element, cutoffs and thermostat and all checked good. I removed the element and inspected the coils and found the metal plate inside was badly warped. I removed and replaced the element and reassembled the unit and retested and unit is operating as designed. Repair covered under one year AEX warranty. Arrived onsite for vent hood this inoperable lights. Upon inspection I found that the light switch was burning out. I installed new switch (1 w10853393) and tested unit and found unit operating as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that after the last service started throwing error codes. Upon arrival the customer stated the unit will also constantly heat and never cool down when running. I tested the unit and found it would immediately throw an L2 and AF error code. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and I found stored error codes F30 for L2 voltage failure, F31 for bad airflow, and F25 for inlet thermistor short. I checked voltage at the wall, terminal block, control to terminal and found it all good. I then ohmd out P4 for the element and thermistors and found them good. Per the tech sheet I replaced the control. I tested the unit and found it still failing. I called techline and spoke to Kirt and received SR# 7733966058. Kirt had me ohm out the red and black wires to ground form the K2 relay and we found the element with a short. I gained access to the element and found the plate cracked and warped causing a short. I installed the new element and then tested the unit. The unit is now working as designed.

Arrived on site for a washing machine with a rattling noise. Upon arrival the customer stated the real issue was the tub was moving to much while running compared to her older unit. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found no stored error codes. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and found it ran through as designed. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found it as designed. I also found the unit leveled well. I informed the customer on my findings and on proper operation of the unit. The unit is running as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon gaining access to the external drain pump I found the drain pump just not installed properly, and the power cord loose. I corrected this and the unit was now powering up. I then tested the unit and it is now working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator making an abnormal noise. Upon arrival the customer stated the noise was coming from the top where the compressor is. They provided a video of the noise and it was a loud rattle/clicking noise. I could not replicate the noise during service. I checked temps and found both compartments good. I inspected the condenser fan and found it in good shape. Upon further inspection I found the base of the compressor rusting away. I informed the customer it is possible the compressor is vibrating and the corroded base is allowing it to make louder than normal noises. Otherwise, I found the unit as designed.

Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found dc & ddc-door latch errors. Continued with testing and when the door was to lock, I could hear the latch attempting to lock but never would. I tested ohms at the switch and found it within range. I tested resistance and it was within range. Based off of my findings, the main PCB needs to be replaced.No water leaks observed during service and unit left unplugged for safety, job completed."

I removed and replaced the right RC door gasket and using my heat gun, I shaped it before installing. Checked the function of the door and the gasket is sealing as designed. Upon further inspection, I found the unit will dispense water but eventually it dwindles down to a trickle and the ice maker is making ice but small pieces. Customer just recently replaced the filter. I removed the filter and retested the water dispenser and got no change. I tested the water pressure at the wall and it is good. Tested voltage to the valve and it is good. I removed and replaced the filter head and retested and unit is operating as designed. Recommended purchasing a new filter and customer advised they would get one from the local hardware store. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I found the ice bin full of bagged ice (photo) which was raising the shut off arm on the ice maker and not allowing the ice maker to harvest. I removed the ice bin and the ice maker began to harvest and filled with water. I advised the customer that the ice bin cannot be too full as it will not allow the ice maker to function properly. Also found the RC & FC sections full with food items to the point where there was no airflow in either compartment. I recommended that the customer remove some the items to allow better airflow. I demonstrated how the items should be arranged in each compartment. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

A river onsite for no ice production and tested and verified the issue is the ice maker fill tube. Attempted to clear ice with steamer but unable to clear. Advised that the door assembly would need to be replaced. Door is unavailable and is an expart. Advised customer to appeal to LG for a replacement door.

Arrived onsite and replaced the rocker switch. Unit is now operating as designed. All checks good. Advised customer on repair.
